I don't know why but this cracked me up.
I never wear *regular* t-shirts so, I bought 17dd & I women's tank tops -- I'll have an overshirt over it! I asked her if it was ok if I bought the same thing as her...she told me it was fine since she wasn't planning on standing by me anyway!
DH will be the one NOT wearing a Pirate shirt. There was no way he wanted to match us --- we've never worn even slightly matchng outfits. I think he'll be sorry once he gets to the Port..........

Hehehe DH pointed out that this will be the first time we'll be one of those crazy families that all dress the same!

Attention Christopher and others in chat last night, regarding Indiana Jones ride being closed for refurbishment in August.

Christopher had mentioned that Indy was closed for refurbishment in August last night and sure enough when we checked the Disneyland schedule it was on the the list along with SW. I go to check it out this morning and it is off the list. So I am hoping that it will be open for all of you. I also promised Christopher the new Indiana Jones Summer of Hidden Mysteries link in case the ride was closed.

I haven'y posted in over 2 weeks and there is so much to catch up on, t-shirts, lanyards, bracelets, Mickey Mouse Club t-shirts, dinner seating arrangements, FE, etc.

I am really footwear challenged. On one hand I hate shoes but on the other- realize they are a necessity.
My savior in this lifetime dillemma is when The Walking Company opened up near me this year.
So far I have a pair of wedge heels for the 1st time in a VERY long time. I now wear them to work and I honestly cannot tell I actuallty have heels on. They are by Sofft.
The 2nd pair I bought from them was a pair of Teva leather sandals. I was anticipating wearing these on excursions since they are weatherproof. Then.... I started reading where a lot of excursions recomended close toed shoes. Back to TWC I go for shoes that meet that criteria.
Bill and the girls have new Keen's and they all love them. So I was looking into those. I wanted a certain style and lo and behold- Online they had the leather Keen's (still waterproof) and they were even $20.00 off so $75.00 instead of $95.00. Yay me!!!
Good news is you do not pay shipping from the store but the bad news is they will probably not be here by next Sat when we leave for WDW.
Oh well, good thing I have those Tevas.

Quick drive by. I'm running late this morning, last minute packing and I haven't even gotten dressed yet. Should be leaving for the airport in 15 minutes. YIKES.

I will be out of town until Wed evening. Since my laptop is broken, won't be able to keep up with you all. I believe our hotel does have computers in the lobby, but who knows if I'll get a chance.

Yes, it's cross stiched. I haven't don this in a while, I forgot how relaxing it was. Johnna never thinks I'm relaxed.

You can celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately I am too far away to join in, but I am hoping DH will get me some goodies for the TOAL.

Trying to get some of the small stuff purchased. I still have to get travel size toiletries and decide what preventative drugs I need. Bought some all purpose Pepto to bring along, but want something for motion sickness. I almost never get motion sick, but want to be prepared. I thought I was pretty well organized and now as it gets closer I feel like I have a million things to do.

A BIG to all who are taking the lead for t-s***, lanyards, bracelets, FE gifts, dining, etc. I know it is a lot of work and it is greatly appreciated by all.

It is a beautiful day here today after bad storms yesterday. The road I usually take to get home was closed due to flooding and I had to find an alternate route.

Way to go Celestine!! What are you changing to make this happen? I've been attempting to get focused on exercise and diet since .. oh. . last August . . I've got to do something before this cruise or I won't have any formal wear to wear . .

It is a 1200 cal/day diet for the first week with 45% protein, 30% carb & the rest fat, but you eat loads & Ihaven't felt hungry. You can have a protein shake as well, but I haven't as of yet. Next week we get 1600 cal/day. As long as you don't mind egg whites (there are loads) it's great. Managed 3 trips to the gym too. Blew it today tho' as it is DDs birthday & friends unexpectedly came to dinner so it was curry, but I only managed half as I was still full from the "proper" food fr the day - hopefully the damage won't be too bad & I've got a few days to correct it
