Can't decide on a comment:
1. Who needs to fight terra cotta?
B. Anyone else picturing plant pots wearing combat helmets?
Or the losers in the battle who thought terra cotta would make good armor?

Let's move to Grand Cayman where we can live in a hut, the weather is warm year round, when it does rain it is above 50, my kids can always find a hotel pool to swim in and I don't have to stress about it closing, my husband can telecommute, and we can just enjoy life. It is waaaayyyyyy to complicated in this every day world. Anyone care to join me? (Ok, yes, I know we would have to depart the island for hurricanes every now and then, but all in all, a good life don't you think?)![]()
From what I gather, the webmasters over there are pretty good and keep the stuff current. We should really pay them more!
Or do they keep it current to stop the flurry of "this needs updating" e-mails...

We are bringing our ears that we received at the park in April. We were at Animal Kingdom and it was WWWWAAAAYYYY to crowded, I was frustrated that our day wasn't going well, and as we were walking to the Tree of Life for "It's Tough to Be a Bug", there they were. The Disney Dream Team. They stopped us in the line, then waved us through and we got the ears that they are only giving away in the park. You can't buy them. We were so excited, it changed my whole attitude for the rest of the day. I think they definitely have to accompany us on the TOAL. I was thinking we would wear them for our embarkation photo.![]()

Yahoo Group DIZNEWS said:Further Research on Monorail from LA to Vegas
President Bush signed a bill last Friday approving funds to do an environmental study into the possibility of a MagLev train between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The train, intended to decrease auto traffic between the two cities, would be the first of it's kind in the US. The proposed monorail would travel up to 300 mph and make the trip in about 2 hours.

We use to have APs also but since we got a puppy earlier this year we have let ours expire. Will have to wait until Fall/Winter to see if we get them again.
Actually there is no such city as San Pedro or Hollywood for that matter, they are all Los Angeles. LA is so big that they have, well lets call them districts, and named them like cities. Most of the people that live here in LA don't even realize this. Have to point out to them that if they do not have their own police force, fire department, school district or city hall then they are just part of LA.![]()
G'mornin'
Oh goody, another evil hot day in h***.
I don't even know if they offer school choice & I'm not sure it would help. The district is part of the problem and there is no escaping that. Plus, we really did our research before we moved in here. The school is great on paper and everyone we asked said good things about it. Oh well. What's another 2 years??![]()

The points were worth it!
That stinks Diane. Drew is sitting more than he should be IMO. I think it's because we can't always get him to the field at exactly 5:30, so he's late. All they do before the game is play catch to warm up, but this is apparently very important. DH & I just can't justify leaving work before 4:30!
Hmmmmm that might be part of the problem. When Cade had the flu & bronchitis he missed about 4 games. I did email the coach, but for some reason not all my emails are going through lately so he might not have got them. Especially since we got an email recently to ALL parents from the coach, that if you're not going to be at the game to please call.![]()

Oh well, I guess you're on the other side of that hill by now.
Happy Birthday!
When I worked for United Way, part of my UW 101 speech was "UW was founded by a priest, a rabbi and two ministers, we don'tknow if they ever walked into a bar together, but . . ."

Keep an eye on this site http://wiitracker.com/wiifit/
They've been showing up here and there online but usually only for about 10 minutes before they are sold out.
There used to be a site that would text you when it found a Wii online, but I can't seem to find it now. And not sure if they are tracking the Wii Fit or not anyway.
Found one last night in stock at a Walmart about 40 miles away. I just can't justify the gas cost to go get it.
I would think you would be ok with that. My doesn't float up and my sister had one that didn't float up as well. I think she wore men's board shorts/swim shorts with her top. I like it!![]()
Happy Birthday JR and welcome to the over 40 club. It really isn't that bad, after all you are only as old as you feel!
Sounds great to me. Did the no sun thing bother you in December? I am ok here from April through the holidays. January through March are hard because it is so gray and dark. People have the misconception that Washington gets a lot of rain. We do get quite a bit, but that isn't what gets to me. It is the never-ending overcast days, day after day after day, when all you see is gray. As I have gotten older, it has gotten worse for me. I need some sun and more frequently!![]()
It's a variation of the old 'no soap radio' gag. You get together with some of your friends and then you tell the joke to a group of people. Your friends laugh as if it is the funniest thing they have ever heard. The other people either laugh along because they don't want to look like they don't get it or stand there confused. Meanwhile you and your friends are laughing so hard trying to explain it to them.
We used to do this all the time in high school. Because we were young. and stupid. But I repeat myself, I already said we were in high school.
Here's some real humor for you:
Three women are trying to get a job with the CIA. The interviewer tells them they are all qualified, but has one last task for them. He leads them to a room with three doors and there's a gun on the table in the middle of the room. He says 'we have each of your husbands sitting in a chair behind one of these doors. I need you to take the gun and go in the room and shoot your husband."
The first woman refuses to do so and is dismissed.
The second woman takes the gun and goes to the door, but on sight of her husband, turns around and hands the gun back and she is dismissed.
The third woman takes the gun and goes into her husband's room. Three loud shots are heard, then some yelling and sounds of a struggle and then several loud crashes are heard.
The woman comes back out and the interviewer asks what happened.
She replies, "Sorry. Someone put blanks in your gun so I had to beat him to death with the chair."
