Thanks, I will. I'm hoping a few more families will step forward with this last call. We're really close. Honestly, given the size and complexity of the original price estimates - I'm feeling pretty good about getting within $200. Too bad it's on the wrong side. :rotfl2:

I am problaby going to go and order mine today. I know we will be ordering about 6 shirts.

Does anyone have a link to the Mickey Mouseketeer shirts? I LOVE those!

One more from me this morning :lmao:

Someone asked me about shorts in the dining room so I asked about this. Shorts are allowed in the dining room, provided that they are the longer dressier shorts (they don't want you to look like you just came from the pool).

Must be more like a Walking or Bermuda short.

Good afternoon everyone. Kenny Chesney was awesome!! He always puts on such a great show. We saw Gary Allen, LeAnn Rimes, Brooks & Dune and Kenny. Steve Miller and Sammy Hagar also preformed!! It was such a fun day.

The down side, all of the womens bathrooms backed up and eventually the water was turned off so you could not flush the toilets or wash your hands. GROSSSSS!
Women started using the mens restrooms and those were pretty yucky as well.

All in all it was a great day. My friend makes me laugh so much that my face is sore today from laughing so much!

Hugs to all that need them today.

Penny

Sounds like 10-15 mickey points to me

One of my favorite swimsuit sites is A.B. Lambdon

They have alot on clearance right now and i'm stalking a couple of them.

I have 3-4 suits right now but if this weather keeps up i may just get alot of pool use between now and the TOAL. (Hard to find suits here in august because winter clothes are coming out)

I had a swimdress that had bad float issues... Only wore it a couple times.

My new tank "suit" comes up in the pool but only the bottom edge.

TIP FOR WENCHES: Tankinis + wavepool = naked wench...
(wear a tee over it :thumbsup2 )

I had a swim top malfunction at Blizzard Beach one time... Gosh was that embarassing! Luckily the woman lifeguard said something and FIL went behind me... My SIL and DH saw though and SIL was TOTALLY freaking out :rotfl2: It wasn't even Summit Plummit either! Hmmm maybe that tankini was too big now that I think about it...

A.B. Lambdon has some really cute suits. Unfortunately for me none of them are long torso I don't think :(

If only we could try them on underwater to see how they will actually look once they're submerged and wet. Then we'd know if there were any float issues!

I have changed how I shop due to What Not to Wear! I try on a LOT more and I try to always take something in to try on that I wouldn't normally consider. So far I have had a couple surprises including the dress I bought for our grown-up princess night! I often take my mother, but that isn't perfect since we don't always agree on styles. DH is OK, but doesn't have much patience with it. Actually, the best one to take is DS9 - he has a really good eye for color and doesn't worry about being tactful if he things something looks bad :lmao: He usually watches What Not to Wear with me (we miss it a lot since we are insanely busy, but maybe 2 or 3 times per month - it is one of the very few shows I watch ;) ) and he has comments on many of the outfits and sometimes doesn't think they really look that much better :rotfl2:

Pamela

I can't stand watching them tear those poor people apart and throw out everything. I watched it a bit when I first discovered it around 3-4 yrs ago but not really since. I have also seen "10 Years Younger" a few times recently.

Here's the style I got at Penneys. Mine is dark brown with teal straps.

That's a cute suit!

This is my first attempt so hope it goes through. DH and I will be on the TOAL.

:worship: :worship: Better make it today or tomorrow. :goodvibes

OK crew - we need 4 more to save me from my poor estimates... :thumbsup2

For the Mickey Mouse Club t-s**** - does anyone have a good (reasonably high res) version of the logo? This would be a pretty easy "do it yourself" t-shirt project. I tried google image search, but I can't seem to find anything bigger that 340x340 which is pretty small. When I get home tonight I'll look and see if I have it in any of my books - just figured it would be worth checking if anyone here already has it!

Pamela

I like this idea! Would be more "doable" for me,I could go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels for our t's.

I had mentioned a few weeks ago that my ds12 is very passionate about animation/cartooning. Here is a drawing he whipped up this morning and I thought I should share it with all of the Disney fanatics I know! Sorry the quality isn't the best, I don't have a scanner, so I took a picture of it.

I think it's quite clever.....I had never thought about Peter Pan having to stop for directions....

My goodness....you say he's 12!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

:welcome: aboard. If you do what Esteri says you will be up to speed and enjoying your trip a lot more.

Michelle here is the link. The actual t-**** with just the MMC logo on the front is $10.95. It is about $18 if you add your name to the back.

No! I want to enjoy my dinner :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Do your boys always wear long pants to the dining room? Or do they sometimes wear nice shorts? I'm having trouble finding reasonably priced slacks for DS9 that fit him - he wears a SLIM size because he is so insanely skinny. (9 years old, 51 inches tall & 52 pounds!) The slims are almost never in our stores (regular and husky only - I guess they don't think there are skinny kids :confused3 ) and I haven't found anything with a good price online. He doesn't fit any pants from last summer, so one pair of black pants is all he's got right now!

Pamela
I ,as well, have a very skinny 9 yo boy. My son also has to wear a slim. He has proclaimed " I will only wear gap pants!" If not on sale, gap can get pricey. Thanks for asking this because I never thought of old navy or walmart! When I find a slim that fits well, I will buy all the colors that they have. Mabey I can take out the tag and convince him they are also from gap!?
If anyone is reading this that has a girl....is it acceptable for my 7yo girl to wear a Cinderella dress on formal night? I have been looking for a formal dress for her and they all look the same.(like a flower girl dress) Any Ideas or is a Cindy dress fine?

 Janelle The Cinderella dress would be great. :wizard:

Hi and welcome aboard!

Bummer the swim suit at Land's End that I liked comes in 2 sizes - 6 and 16.. I think I'm somewhere between there :lmao:

So what's the easiest way to measure what size I'd be since I'm guessing a tape measure isn't going to work...

I saw lots of girls in Disney princess dresses for formal night on our last cruise. She would look great!

Thanks for the tips Esteri. Looks like I have a lot to do. Better get started.
