Maybe we can discuss somethings we would like to do or not to do , I for one am still debating wether or not to bring the Captain out for Pirate Night ...

Also , what do you think about us making T-S***'s that are similar to the ones from this cruise that say " Pirates Continuing thru the Caribbean" :confused3 :confused3

Might be that the passport is required to get off the ship in Columbia? Might be that they actually haven't figured it out yet?

I think because the ship stops in Columbia regardless of whether you disembark, a passport is needed.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE!! - THEME NIGHTS ANNOUNCED

Formal nights - days 2 and 14 - at sea days (Aug 18 and 30)
Night 14 is the Ballroom under the stars night

Mexican deck party - day 6 - Acapulco (Aug 22)
Semi Formal - day 8 - at sea (Aug 24)
Tropical night - day 10 - Cartagena (Aug 26)
Pirate night - day 13 - at sea (Aug 29)

Logically that could be the case. It could also be the case as with airlines - you don't actually need the passport until you exit the craft and go through border control (thus it's possible to transit countries even if you don't have a Visa to enter).
You'd think there would be clear and unambigous information coming out of DCL on so critical an issue.

A little FYI - one litho of the EB Transatlantic went for $2000. How'd I know? Cause I bid on that one - and no - I did not win it - I let the other guy have it - figured I'd get my candy elsewehere! ::yes::

It was framed but for that price - I like my eye-candy much better.

My BIL is wondering when you were trying to buy that? Was it Ebay? He's wondering if thiers is worth that much now LOL.

You mean "hassle free" information? :rotfl2:

I've also heard diluted apple cider vinegar works well. My DH swears by it.

I just checked with DCL on the passport issue again. The agent I spoke to said they are required for Columbia, but when she tried to verify it with her info online, she couldn't find anything about passports for the EB PC. Maybe this is why we're getting the old "they are not required but strongly suggested" line.

Also, they just got notification that all aboard is going to be 3pm, the safety drill will be at 3:30 pm and sail away is at 4pm.

Thanks Tracy - I also received this information today but was told that the all onboard and sail times remain the same only the drill is changing to 3:30pm. Typical Disney :confused3

 On the first formal night - it's our VR night and I was bummed that I was gonna be so dressed up when others weren't!

Semi-formal is our Palo night so that's good for us.

Pirate night at sea? Does that mean no fireworks? (I have only been on one pirate night cruise - sorry!)

Hi Everyone! This is my first post on this meet. We will be sailing with you all. We are a family of 4. My husband and myself and we have a boy(9) and a
girl(7). I have been lurking and have been encouraged to join the meet, so I am giving it a try. We have all our excursions booked and we are in a cat 6 gty. We have late dining but are wait listed for early. Is there any family out there who knows if you can share a table. On our past Disney cruise we were seated at a table for 4. I think it could be fun to sit with other people on such a long trip. Is there somewhere that the kids can meet (e-mail etc).
Thanks, hope to talk to you all!

Welcome to the Family!!!

They shoot off the fireworks at sea. It's really neat. Especially if you have a veranda on the side that the fireworks are being shot towards. You get your own private fireworks show without all the deck congestion.

CRUISE QUESTION

For those of you that have gotten facials onboard which one did you have and how did you like it?
I usually like to get one on a cruise after being in the sun so much

On another note - I asked a client about the ballroom under the stars on the WB and he said they didn't have it and when they asked the crew no one new anything about it. He thought it may have been cancelled due to it being windy on that last formal night but nothing special happened

I'm voting for that they having figured it out yet!

Yippee!!! I was joking last week that I would like it if they would have pirate night on my birthday. A girl needs fireworks for the 40th! And they came through for me!!! Ok, I'm sure it had nothing to do with me asking for it

How many times will we see fireworks?
