If you decide to link dining with this group, they can try to get you changed to early. I think they will also try to get you seated with another family if that is what you would like. I've never been with this large a group before, but I suspect that with so MANY tables of DISers that we are all going to be visiting with the tables all around us as well as those we are seated with!

Pirate night at sea? Does that mean no fireworks? (I have only been on one pirate night cruise - sorry!)/quote]

They shoot off the fireworks at sea. It's really neat. Especially if you have a veranda on the side that the fireworks are being shot towards. You get your own private fireworks show without all the deck congestion.

Thanks! The only one I was on before was a 7 day in Mexico and the CM told us that they had to pick up the firworks that day and shoot them off that night (hence..I thought they couldn't travle very far with them). On that cruise..they went off of the starboard side..which is where we are but then we would miss all the fun stuff on deck!

On a side note..I went to order the holders for our name tags only to find out that the company is about 2 miles from my house..so I get to save money on the shipping (score) and go get them! They also had lanyards but the cost was more then the company I went with plus a set up fee (it came out to about $2.50 a lanyard). the company I went with the cost was $1 each with no set up and free shipping..so I went with that.

We could start a thread for the younger group. I would like to see one with the 8-12 or 9-12 group or under 12..something like that.

Problem is I've been ignored by all the webmasters and some of the moderators. I've emailed and PM'd them all. Have not gotten anything back from anyone!!! Since my son is under 13, I need to give my permission for him to post. The instructions say to fax, but I don't have a fax. Many others have been successful with emailing someone. I have not.

On the first formal night - it's our VR night and I was bummed that I was gonna be so dressed up when others weren't!

Semi-formal is our Palo night so that's good for us.

We will still have fireworks. We had them last year in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

CRUISE QUESTION

For those of you that have gotten facials onboard which one did you have and how did you like it?
I usually like to get one on a cruise after being in the sun so much


On another note - I asked a client about the ballroom under the stars on the WB and he said they didn't have it and when they asked the crew no one new anything about it. He thought it may have been cancelled due to it being windy on that last formal night but nothing special happened

I've heard it was due to the winds. Supposedly they moved it down to..hmm...I think the Atrium...maybe Promenade...but it wasn't very well attended.

Hi Arlene, thanks for asking. I wish it was. But no such luck. Probably about 2 or 3 more weeks. Getting the plumbing plans approved is taking longer than it should. I still can't decide on a new floor, but I did pick out the building color. I just hope it is done before we leave for vacation in June, but that may just be a dream

No, you can go ahead and start the thread.

My problem is that my son can't post unless he uses my ID. Absolutely no one answered any of my emails or PMs requesting that he be allowed to post. After I couldn't get anywhere emailing the webmaster's, I tried PMing a few mods, but still nothing.
