Roger....and the Doubletree Gang....do you want me to check out restaurants when I'm there in just TWELVE DAYS?? :yay:

That is, of course, if I live through the next twelve days.

Send me an e-mail or PM....need to exchange cell phones anyway.

I like that-"the Doubletree Gang":dance3:
Any info you get would be great:thumbsup2

I like "DoubleTree Gang" too :goodvibes .

Thanks, Stacey - hope you have a great trip -well, of course you will!
I want to be there early too:worried:
Darren was asking me about renting a car like we did at MCO. Is there a place to return car rentals near the port ?

The only car rental place that I could find that had an office at Long Beach as well as San Pedro AND was open on Sunday was Enterprise. They charged a hefty drop-off fee ($40), but it really is the only option for me, hence the huge drop-off fee.

Thanks Mary Ann:thumbsup2 Here is the link Scavenger Hunt

OK, signed up. Would rather do the planning part. I assume I just PM any thoughts, ideas to you?

OK,

I just found out Alicia pulled a switch-er-ooo on me. She did NOT get thast polka dot pattern dres which was soooo perfect. It turns out it was NOT on sale - so she put it back while she waits patiently for it to go on sale. And she substituted a black dress instead. The total value at original retail was something like $275 and she paid $38 + tax for about $40-41. Here are a couple images of her modeling the two dresses purchased:

I think the black dress is made by "Tahari" and is far more flattering in real life then it seems in the photo. The red dress is "smoking" in real life too - more so than this photo can possibly convey.

I think she looks great in both, but my vote goes for the black one :thumbsup2

OK, I give. Who's Ducky Williams??
I'll just wander over to the shunned part of the ship now....

Just to add to what Julie says....

He has sessions on the ship where he talks about himself and his career with Disney while he draws characters and then he raffles them off.

You can bring the special litho that is left in your stateroom to be signed by him. They usually leave you a date and time for your deck on a little card in your stateroom the night before.

I have two of his specialty cruise lithos that I have taken to be framed. However they are both holiday ones and can only hang them at Christmas time. It will be nice to have one that I can hang year round.

One week after the 90 day mark, it looks like we have more cancellations.
I'm seeing category 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11 available tonight.

WOW!!! I just checked and mine went up $3500. I just keep saving my DH money

I'm coming to San Pedro?

YOU ARE NOW!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thank you all for your very kind wishes, thoughts and prayers for my Aunt over the last few days.

We had word a short while ago that my Aunt had finally passed away. A blessing for all. She'd been fairly unresponsive for around 4 days and in the last 24 hours had ceased all communications and gone into a seemingly deep sleep.

My Mum said she is looking forward to laying down in a real bed as she's been sitting and sleeping a plastic chair for the last 4 days without a break so she didn't have to leave my Aunt alone. She'd promised my Aunt to not leave and to be there stay until the very end.

Mum's hoping to return home at the weekend as she'll need a couple of nights good sleep before tackling a 24+ hour flight home.

Again thank you all!

Paula, I am very sorry for your family's loss :grouphug:

Ducky also did a presentation at the kid clubs . . . also you guys should keep an eye out for him on deck 4 between the two dinner seatings . . . we often found him sitting out there with a pad of paper and he would draw any character you asked for, personalized, while pleasantly chatting! All three of my girls got personal drawings that way. I'm sure your son would love to interact with him about their shared love of art.

WOW! Thanks! My 17 yr old DD LOves to draw Disney art.

Thanks for the info Julie - I think my kids would love to see this

That is going to be my issue to the volume. I'm hoping that if I pack them right it should be OK. Congratulations on finishing your FE, I haven't started mine yet!

I haven't started mine either. I asked my sister to make mine. She is the crafty one. I can barley sew on a button. :(

If any of my committee knows how to put together a deck by deck plan with the cabins involved highlighted in some way (to make FE gift delivery easier) let me know and we can plan to have something like that once all the cabin numbers come in as well.

Julia, someone did this for our last cruise, but unfortunately I do not know how to do it. If someone here was willing to give me a little tutorial (and have patience with my pathetic computer skills), I would be happy to do it.

does this make sense to anyone .got a letter fro dcl yesterday.
at the end of the letter it said on the day of your sailing all guests must be board the ship no later than 4pm. the mandatory safety drill for all passengers is at 3 pm.so you have to be at the safety drill at 3 but you do not have to board until 4?

I like "DoubleTree Gang" too :goodvibes .

Reminds me of Sugarhill Gang.

You could all sing "Disers Delight"

i said a hip hop
the hippie the hippie
to the hip hip hop, a you dont stop the rock it

to the bang bang boogie, say up jumped the boogie
to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat

:cool2:

I found this: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1064311

a powerpoint prezzo that someone had done with room assignments highlighted.
