8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #8

We like to dress up for the cruise. This will be our first time getting tuxes for the boys and me. We don't usually dress up for much at home, so it's a nice change of pace for us.

i did try scuba once in a pool though...

We snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef during our honeymoon

My daughter went there for 6th grade.. It was part of PEOPLE TO PEOPLE.. she loved it. i am a bit jealous that she went and not me.. When my son gets to go to PARIS I told him I will go as a chaparone. Now to say the money for that TOAL as well.. How many TOAL can one person have?

DD8 just showed me a birthday card that she made for her friend's party tomorrow. It was really cute, with a really colorful design on it. then i opened it up and saw that she wrote "You're the beast!"

I did point out the mistake, so her friend will still be her friend.

That is so fuuny, can you imagaine another 8 yr old opening that and reading that.. How cute..

There's been talk of assigning people certain days, assigning certain decks per day, or just go it on your own. I'm one of the trouble makers, I don't want to be tied to a schedule. I just want to wander when I have some spare time and deliver what I can when I can.

I don't think anything's been decided yet. And you won't be held to a strict schedule. But we would like to keep it spread out so we don't get everything delived at the beginning or end.

I don't want to be tied to a schedule either, but I can see the value of having things spread out. What if people were assign a week ? Half the people get the first week and half get the second

We have four little giggling girls here for a sleepover tonight, so we started with pizza, moved on to ice cream a little while ago, and we will be popping popcorn soon.

They all had a great school year, so we decided to celebrate!

I agree - finding this board has been wonderful. Non-Disney people ( and yes there are a few) just do not understand the excitement and the joy of planning for the cruise and the fun of meeting new people who are as crazy over Disney as I am. We were able to grab a cabin 4 weeks ago and have been reading and planning ever since. I was amazed that my principal approved my leave from school - I will not be there for 4 in-service days and the first four days with the students. It was either approve it or I'll retire (I have 34 years in - and still love love teaching). When school is over ( 11 more days) I can keep up with these boards..

What grade do you teach? I'm an elementary school Lunch Lady in the OKCity area. Our kids are done next Wed. and then our Summer Feeding Program will go from June 9-July 30. I will miss the first 2 weeks of school myself!
