Must run in the family:goodvibes That's great Chrissie:thumbsup2

Actually DH and I are both from NY. I'm from Huntington and he is from Yorktown Heights. Yeah, he prefers for me to do all the planning too:rotfl:

Needed a correction:rolleyes1

Doesn't that make it sooooo much easier having us plan everything?:cool1:

If you want Dolphins go for that first they go quickly.

PV and ACAPULCO, on every DCL cruise they always go fast.

Thanks for the tips Andrew.:thumbsup2

Anyone been to these ports before?

Are there things to do in walking distance of ship?
(Um shopping per say?:lmao: )
Chrissie

They havent confirmed anything but this came from DCL.

The following are a few of the entertainment options that will be
offered during the 15-Night Panama Canal sailings.

You will enjoy the following theatre productions:

Welcome Aboard Variety Show (50 minutes) - A stage production featuring
variety acts, musical performances, and a cavalcade of Disney characters

The Golden Mickeys (50 minutes) - This character-filled musical review
uses all the glitz and glamour of an awards show to honor the wonderful
animated films and characters that have filled our lives for over 75
years. The Guests, too, are treated as celebrities and given red carpet
treatment. This spectacular live stage show takes guests on a wonderful
journey to celebrate comedy, romance, heroes and those characters we
love to hate, the villains of Disney films.

When Mickey Dreams (50 minutes) Mickey Mouses dreams come to life in
this musical spectacle guided by a cast of Cirque-like dream seekers.
The shows acrobatics and aerial stunts will thrill guests, while a
nightmare visit by the evil fairy, Maleficent, serves up a few chills.

Disneys The Art of the Story (50 minutes) This celebration of
storytellings magic features more than 20 performers, Disney characters
from Mulan to Tarzan and a variety of production numbers from classic
Disney films including Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story (50 minutes) -
The show begins at the end of the famous story as Cinderella and her
Prince are wed. However, Cinderellas evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine,
and her obnoxious stepsisters believe that if it werent for the glass
slippers, Cinderella would never have won the heart of the prince. They
call upon Lady Tremaines evil Fairy Godfather for help, and trouble
ensues.

Disney Dreams...An Enchanted Classic (55 minutes) - One of the most
popular shows, Disney Dreams, is enhanced as Disney Dreams&.An
Enchanted Classic, with elaborate special effects, animation and new
scenic elements.

Farewell Variety Show (50 minutes)

Six Specialty Shows (50 minutes) - These shows are uniquely designed for
our Guests cruising on this special itinerary. The details could ruin
the surprise!

Deck Parties - Up on deck, you will enjoy three high energy evening deck
parties. These will be experienced at Aruba, Acapulco, and Cabo San
Lucas. Two afternoon deck parties will also be offered on these cruises.

You should refer to your Personal Navigator onboard for details and
times of all activities. Entertainment is subject to change.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you! Have a Magical Day!

thanks

He was very grateful after the dolphin swim back in 2006. He loved it:cloud9:
However he is a bit worried that I'm gonna overschedule things this time. I appear to be a tiny bit more obsessed this time:rolleyes1

Only one I've been to is PV. Spent a week there, but most of my time was spent in old town, not Neuvo Vallarta where the ship docs.

What are you shopping for? There is a Walmart and Sam's Club right across the street from the pier in PV.

Edited to add: Its a very easy bus ride to old town. There's a flea market with all kinds of hand crafted goods. Plus its a short walk from the Malceon with its famous statues.

I can't imagine why folks have trouble keeping up with this thread:rolleyes1

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No idea

Are they seriously complaining on the main board? I rarely venture over there unless someone brings up an interesting thread here.

Stop complaining and just jump in. You don't have to read everything, just join in when you can.

:rotfl2: That's the same thing here. DH says now we are going to relax this cruise right?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Define relax? Going to bed late up early and running here & there. Yup don't worry DH I have it all planned.:rotfl2:

Yeah..I want PV so that is my first aim...so everyone else stay away!!!!!!:lmao:
That is the REALLY the only thing we (I) must do...I am just happy to be on board!
Chrissie

Dolphins always always go quickly, in 2005 I was fast, and I only got 2pm in Acapulco, and it went on the hour every hour from 9am, Palo you can always get to the port early as a back up and get.

No idea

I haven't seen any lately, but I think Andrew mentioned he had.
I did try to reassure a newbie that they didn't have to read everything:confused3

i will like to know also.
You a shopper too?

It is !!! It scared me I'll tell ya. The darn thing has the nerve to change colors so I always don't see him.:rotfl2:

How dare he! (must be a swabbie!) I hate when they run across your feet!

EVERYTHING! I just like to shop for unique items to bring home for others and to remind me of the places I see and friends I meet...

Then we're up and running again;)

I edited, but you missed it. It's an easy bus ride to old town with more authentic shopping...even a flea market.
