It's an island off Cartegena, included in one of DCL's tours . . . some of us were interested in adding a beach break onto Mr. Emerald's usual fare, and apparently that made us appear so difficult that he has decided to ignore us all together!

I sure hope he comes through. I am going to book the DCL Baru excursion, just in case I figure that should give a few hours to see the city.

No need to ask for forgiveness, Crash. I was responding in jest. I just thought it was interesting that the (non-traditional) stay at home dad, thought it was so shocking that a girl would take (non-traditional) shop class!

You have 2 beautiful little girls who can grow up to be anything they want to be. Isn't that cool??

I kno you were kiddin'....

... but just in case, I thought the soft shoe dance would be the DIPLOMATIC option. And... who you callin' non-traditional? I still work - though it's kind of tough to be fully there in business when you're not fully there but here with the kids.... kno what I mean? And.... and ... and... give me more time an; I'll think of more stuff ta fluff with ... but I'm running short of time.

So... as for a girl taking a non-traditional shop class seems like nothing short of a smart move if ya ask me. If I had been inerested in girls in High School I might have taken classes where I might meet more of em. As it stands I was mostly clueless and aloof through High School. Terrible really. I had a few girls express interest in interesting ways ... and my friends just looked at me and shook thier heads/hung thier heads in dissappointment... and I was truly clueless.

Later I decided I was interested in girls and had several heart crushing refusals for going out. And then I understood how I had disappointed the girls who expressed "interest" in me.

SO - I decided I would always accept going out with any young lady - only I would NOT do any of the stuff hoped for by some. I had strict personal conduct standards to avoid the "complications" of relationships while NOT hurting any young ladies. I would go out - do all the fun stuff expected - but no hand holding - and no kisses unless I was really "interested" as much (or more) then my date was. Those were my rules.

At any rate... I hate to post less than I have in mind but I really gotta run. If I don't go now I'll hit traffic.

Maybe that's where ours wen't? We had to file with NY & IL now live in SC.

Just to let you know some PALO rules.

On any booking prior to the cruise you can only book one Brunch / Afternoon Tea / Dinner.-Per adult on your booking.

If you book online by yourself and then get the Palo private room they will cross refer the reservation numbers and you will have to cancel your own personal booking.

IE If you book Palo Brunch on line, by yourself and then get a Palo Private group brunch, you will be asked to cancel one. You still Will Be able to have afternoon tea and dinner in this example.

Now Palo private room only confirms at 30 days in advance, I know this from organising this in 2007.

Ok..now I am being a pest to the lanyard company as much as I am to DCL!

I have confirmed that it takes approximately 4-5 weeks to recieve the lanyards..so that I don't stress about it and get plenty of time to order and recieve them - the deadline to order them from me is going to be next Friday the 23rd. I want to allow for if there is any errors that I can get a new batch in time. They have also informed me that the saying will go on twice if I have it under 60 characters so I chose:

I really appreciate that you told me that you spoke with some one from an actual DCL department. I wouldn't want anyone to realize that you all have been sending your questions to the run around department.


I did get copied on an email from the ship and our entertainment department yesterday so now I am aware that others are working on this as well. so now I'm aware that someone is really working on it & I shouldn't bother with the run around responses I will be sure to communicate with them so that we don't duplicate anything. We will leave everything as it is for the function space for now until I know for sure what is happening.

Now, I've absolutely lost my appetite! (Which may be good for the ol' weight!)

As of today 11pm. It was 9pm,Frontier changed it on us. I've been trying to check my reservation for any more changes and I just can't get around on their website to check it out.
