That's me! I've never been to one of the bars -- we've been on 3 cruises.....

Me either...from the trip reports I am reading, they sound like fun!

We are late seating and usually do dinner very leisurely with the whole family, then head off to bed. It is kind of a night cap for us. I am sure with the kids being older and in the teen club, we may have a different pace this trip...

Mine was from Dana Brady, Cruise Line Entertainment. I had put in an email to them more than two months ago and they just got back to me. She seems to have a more thorough handle on things. Maybe you should email Dorothy to tell her that Dana is arranging things?

Thanks. I like them. Much easier to lug around than a big rectangle traditional camera bag. It never fails, whenever I go somewhere without my camera, something stectacular happens - whales will be synchronized swimming off the port bow, DS will give Cinderella a big ol' smooch, Tom will show up in his speedo, Cheryl will dance on a table...

REAL-LIFE PLANNING QUESTION:

If we are signed up for the group Wenches Palo Tea (and Speedo Parade Viewing) then we don't sign up as individuals for the Palo tea on booking night, right??

I know Chris is organizing the Wenches Tea, so I'll PM her as well, but I know she's not here all the time, so I figured I'd ask how this has worked for other cruises.

Actually, they probably put everything on hold whilst they were trying to get the Magic to sail to California before attending to our needs.

I say this because she responded to my email from yesterday already.

I sent her a copy of the permission I carry in my wallet and asked if that was sufficient proof of good-standing.

Here is her reply to my email:

Fr. Mike,

The card that you have supplied us is just fine. Thank you very much.

As far as the cost for the microphone, I do apologize that you were given that information. However, we do not charge for the use of either the mic or the tech. That is all covered under our Entertainment costs for you. AND we will still reimburse you for the cost of the Mass supplies.

The ship has not yet determined the schedules for the return sailing from Los Angeles at this date. Once that has been determined, I will be sending you an itinerary, and it will detail the times & locations of masses for you.

In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions.

Fr. Mike....I emailed Dorothy to let her know you have been in contact with Dana, and just received this reply:

Good Morning Deanna,

I really appreciate the heads up on this.

I did get copied on an email from the ship and our entertainment department yesterday so now I am aware that others are working on this as well. I will be sure to communicate with them so that we don't duplicate anything. We will leave everything as it is for the function space for now until I know for sure what is happening.
