So I emailed DCL this morning:

I'm hoping against hope that there is some kind of information as to
what the special menu's and deck parties are scheduled for on the
Eastbound Panama Canal Repo cruise.? I'm trying to finalize plans for
when I should try to schedule our Palo's dinner when our booking window
opens up at midnight next Monday (the 19th).

This was the response I received:

Dear Lorri,

Thank you for sailing with Disney Cruise Line!

At this time we are still waiting for the final evening dining itinerary
announcement for the Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise in August.

Please check back with us in the early summer for the announcement or
you may contact our Reservations Department at 800-939-2784 or
407-566-7000, Monday - Friday 8:00am to 10:00pm (EST) or Saturday -

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you! Have a Magical Day!

I can't understand why they do not think it's imporatant to have that information when you are trying to schedule spa treatments and Palo as well as excursions even. We don't have to know what they are serving that night or even actually the logistics..just the theme so we can plan accordingly!

(stepping down off of the soapbox and dragging it away..)

I do agree, I would presume they have an outline now as the Westbound has started and acts would have been booked.

Gotta love google.

Just now finally playing Ketchup since yesterday was also middle DD's EIGHTEENTH birthday. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN EMILY!!!)

LilG....I actually have the PERFECT picture in mind of my Megan! What a stunning idea. No time to do it on the napkins...but I just might have to set a pic on their picture table. Brilliant...thank you!!!

Fan club?? I guess I DID miss something! :confused3

We had a really wonderful dinner with Jordan's boyfriend and his family. First time we've all been together and it went really well. At least I managed to not make a fool of myself. I think. I hope. It looks as though these people will be her in-laws, so hopefully we'll all be able to be friends.

Sorry I missed so many pages....back to the Ketchup.

Sorry I missed this....

Happy Belated Birthday Jordan!!!

So, while we are Julie-Andrews-wishing for entertainers on the EB cruise...

Who would you just absolutely die to see??? If you could pick one star or entertainer, who would it be??

I wouldn't absolutely die to see him . . . I would absolutely die if I saw him. However, for all the food we pack away, maybe Richard Simmons would be a necessary guest. We could "Sweat with the Oldies" up and down the promenade! :lmao:

Now for the serious answer, I really enjoyed the Members' Cruise two years ago when Roy Disney was on board. It would be great to have him!

Or Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel and other characters. She was just wonderful in her performance!

God slow down your gaining on me I cannot ketchup, 13 pages so far,

I know what you mean. This thread is going to be filled and closed quicker than any of the earlier ones. So much to read, so little time...

WOW TOM!
That's a whole lotta Ricky on that last page.

:rotfl:
I'm not sure I could handle being trapped anywhere with Richard Simmons for 15 minutes, let alone 15 days!!!
:scared1:

Your wish doesn't even have to be realistic. The only parameters are that it should be someone Disney/family-friendly and, well I guess, currently alive.

Gimme Harry any day. Harry Connick Jr. He has kids. He sang Bare Necessities on "Mad About the Mouse". See, look, Disney ties!

I'm not a big star-struck type person, but I would just be giddy and well might possibly die if Harry was onboard.

Of course, DH wouldn't let me out of his sight either. :)
Harry is #1 on my Friends list.:rolleyes1

Steve and I will have to lock you and Cherie in a closet if Harry is on board :lmao:

From Susan Egan's calendar I see that we still have a chance
Jun 1-7 Disney Cruise (Due to scheduling conflicts, Susan had to cancel this date, but check back as she may be rescheduled for another week)

Harry would be great!

My other picks........Michael Bublé or Josh Groban.

I've yet to see Michael Bublé in concert, but Josh Groban was probably the single best performer I have ever seen. Believe it or not, his voice actually made me cry like Paula.

I must say I spend a lot of time here, I can keep up at weekends but cant at this rate,

I ditto that one. Either of those would be WONDERFUL!

What about Josh Groban? Wasn't he on their website for awhile signing a song in front of the castle? :lovestruc

I should have kept reading.....okay, now 2 votes for Josh!

I've met him...the man is a riot but believe me when I tell you a little goes a very long way!

Can you believe how crazy these things get? Calling kids "monkeys" seems perfectly normal to me!

Pamela

Calling kids Monkeys??? Awful!!! Everybody knows they're supposed to be called rugrats..... :rolleyes1

Could not find JA calendar but did find this which we may try to get tickets for.

Oooo good Disney connections.

QUICK! Add him to my List!
It's a good thing I didn't have it laminated.

Seriously. He really wasn't cute back then.

IMO Patrick Dempsey, John Stamos and Jon Bon Jovi come to mind in the 'getting better with age' category. I didn't see they hype in any of the 20 years ago. Now they are all hot.

Maybe it's just me.

Maybe Phil could perform with the Tarzan yelling guy. :)
We are all having trouble packing. Can you imagine what Elton John would bring on a 15 night cruise??

I wonder if he still has the Donald Duck outfit.

i agree with you m...they have certainly gotten better with age. of course, i used to think bon jovi was pretty great back then too. it's funny cuz now my dd listens to their music, and she just asked me the other day if she could find one of his concerts and go to it. she has never even asked to go to a hannah montana concert! so it cracked me up to hear her ask to go to a bonjovi concert...she only just turned 8!! LOL!
hope everyone is having a great monday!!
