Thanks again everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes for DD9. Last night after having cupcakes at school, cupcakes at girl scouts and then cake at home she crashed and burned right about 7pm. You could not even reason with her, she was exhausted and asleep by 7:30pm.

How about Nicole Bobeck????? She was a talent but couldn't get her act together either. I read a story the Dick Buttons told about at one of the major Comps, her coach had to sleep in front of the door to prevent her from partying thru the night.. So sad.

Good point Arlene. I always called her the female Christopher Bowman. She didn't practice much either. She was a party-er, but not so much into drugs. I saw a 'where are they now' thing on her a few years ago - maybe during the last Olympics. She and her mom own a boutique in LA (I think it's LA).

Not to be a downer but I received a sad letter in the mail.
Those who were around last summer remember my friend that shot her whole family and then killed herself. I got a letter from her Mother today. She said she could not bring herself to sending out Christmas cards due to the circumstances. She said that Andrea had just started taking Zoloft and they think she just had a bad reaction. (I'd say!)
Her mother also said in this whole time Michael's (Andrea's DH) family had never said one word to them. Now I understand the anger at her daughter from the husbands family but Andrea and Michael had been together for 25 years and married 20. If her closest friends did not relaize anything was wrong, I would think her own in-laws would know there had to have been something that was seriously wrong w/ Andrea.
I am sure it is too much for his family to get over but I cannot imagine what they have to benefit from not understanding they all are victims. This has aged her so much it is very sad.
I just wish there was some way I could comfort her Mom.

You should try to reach out to her and say something . . . of course it can't make it all better, but so many times we don't say anything because we aren't sure how to do it, and in my experience sending out some love to the person is better than doing nothing . . .

Toby delivered. It took 14 months but he delivered all the buttons, frock coat and waist coat, belt with buckle, baldrick with buckles and neclace. Sewed on the buttons and it they look really cool. Thanks for all you r help in this.

Sounds good to me! We went to Texas and just loved it. We stayed at a Dude Ranch. It was a blast!!!!!

But, it is a little far away to just pop on by. Darn it...those Margaritas looked FANTASTIC!!

They have us straightened out, so I can go in under Linda's cabin and see and book excursions for her and the boys. If I decide to change anything or book anything else, I'll still have to call so that they can manually fix Hailey and myself, since we're booked in the steerage cabin.

We love visiting Abq! Fun museums, Love the zoo -- so small but, way cool! I love the sculptures in the parking lot!, shopping in Old Town.....can't get much better then that! And there used to be a couple of GREAT scrapbook stores!!!
