I showed my family the cams as she was heading out to sea. Mine went a little better but not much.

DD: Cool!
Me: Can you believe it..we will be on her in 3 months!
DD: Wait.. is this live?
Me: Yes...see all the people?
DD: (silence)
Me: I asked..don't you..(as I turn around)....
DD has left the room and I am talking to myself!

On the 10nt 24dd showed up at dinner one night with *Have any of y'all figured out where to get the ingredients for burritos?*

She had tried the night before to figure out some guacamole.... She even tried to just round up the ingredients. Room service told her they didn't have any avacado. She said *Yes, you do. It is listed on one of your sandwiches. Just take it off and give it to me.*

Three of the Five kids are just like their dad and I..... We have to have our Tex-Mex a few times a week!

Long story short, I am sitting at my computer with Store bought hair color in my hair that I made DS16 put in for me, my DD10 is crying because she hates her hair cut
and DS13 swears that women are the strangest, most difficult things on the planet...

Umm, aren't our first 3 stops in Mexico?? Shouldn't they have tortillas and salsa??

Wellll.....That's the Pacific side and I really don't know if they eat salsa. The last time when I was in Manzinillo I didn't see/have any! But, they do put plenty of limes on rolls and other food.

That part of Mexico has a totally different type of food then this side.

Salsa may be more Tex-Mex.
I'll ask dh since that is the part of Mexico that he goes to all the time. That's where all the Tanneries are! And he has gone deep sea fishing in Cabo for a week.

That reminds me of the first time the grandkids were at Cocoa beach.DD didn't know the shuttle was going up that day and when it did she was so excited. She had them all stand up and watch.The kids watched for a few minutes and then begged to get back to the sandcastles. She couldn't believe it.

I usually watch twopalms and go to the local cam links for jetty park and one of the beach cams. That is how I saw the Wonder coming back from drydock a while back.Usually when the ship leaves for something like this, lots of disers try to control the cams to get the most exposure with the ship.. The bad thing with two palms is if you sneeze, you can miss it.

I asked dh about the salsa and tortillas.... He said *Not the type of salsa that we are used to. It is just cut up tomato and onion served with corn tortillas.*

Mostly hard rolls and lime are served. Now if you are going to a touristy place they probably have salsa & flour totillas -- they cater to *US Americans*.

He said they do have guacamole but, I personally hate avacados.

Good night everyone..it's been a long day...

DD got to spend her "Daughter Day" how she wanted..we went to mini-golf and we went shopping. We also ate at her favorite restaurant. I'm exhausted!

I hope everyone has a terrific Mother's Day...we will be out early so I am not sure if i will get a chance to get on until tomorrow nite.

We spend our day with a picnic at Hollywood Park which is a local race track..it's a tradition that we have had for about 12 years.

It’s Packing Time in Tennessee!

Jill has spent all this time planning, getting this ready in small stages, and letting me know all the things I am not doing to help her along. I figure all we needed were a couple of shirts, some shorts and maybe a toothbrush. But no. This is the site I see on Tuesday night:

When will we ever us all of this stuff!?​

Holy freaking cow! How will all that fit into our suitcases and not cost me a fortune in over the weight limit fees? Jill managed to pack it in 4 suitcases, 2 carryons, and a purse and camera bag. She could not see the scale while holding them to check their weight, so we had to perform a dance around the scale while she was holding these bags to get the weight.

Next… we actually leave on the trip after 400 days of waiting for the day to come!

Made it home safely from WDW , had a great time ....Arlene the pics and the Video look great , Sorry we couldnt make the meeting over at SSR we had dinner reservations over at Prime Time in Hollywood Studios ..Oh and by the way , they had a AP preview of the new Toy Story Mania ride , we rode it twice and it was great ...Much better then Buzz ride ...we had already packed the camera or we would have photos , but I am sure it will be the same in California so when it opens go ride it ...Your arm will get tired too ..LOL

You know what? I'm actually afraid to make a list! I don't think I even want to know how much carp I'm going to need for this cruise!

I gave myself a headache last night making my packing lists (about time!) for the wedding and the June cruise.

We started ours last week. We are starting slow and as we think of things we add them.

I finally got the video uploaded to youtube. Turned out the firewire was still connected to my old computer and wasted around 2 hrs trying to get the darn thing to work on my new one.

It was very noisy at the park. Kids running all over and DH asking the occasional question, there was lots of editing. I do stand corrected when I said the Magic didn't sound the horn again. It did. I'm off to sleep as I do have tomorrow. With all the time I needed off for this trip, the personal time requests were pretty much turned down. I don't like the quality of the video on the web. Trying more options. If it comes out better I will switch it.

Hi Roger - I will thank you now for the Mother's Day wishes. LOL - just wanted to let you all know that I made it safe and sound. That's funny Desiree....sounds just like when I talk to my family about the cruise. I am sooo excited, and they don't get into it until right before. That's no fun!
