I have loved seeing all the pictures of the Magic leaving today. I have even been reading up on some of the trip reports, but they are too busy relaxing and having fun on the boat....need my fix......

Well, at least we are down to a few months now, with the 90 day fright night coming up in a week.....it will go by faster than I think....

I got some nice shots of the Magic.We got there at 4:30 and she blew her horn at 4:45. didn't as she sailed past us I spoke to Laura while the ship started out and she told me she and Steve were wearing Green and on the 10th deck by the basketball cts. Well if you look reallly closely, you can see 2 figures in green and 1 has the camera fixed to her face We then drove out to the beach to catch her sailing out to sea. If the video comes out ok, I will post the youtube link. Enjoy.BYW, the timestamp is an hour behind

Beats my dad.. my DS19 told me she is moving out. She doesnt need mom anymore and its time for me to let go... She has a college loan and a new car loan.. i just see debt for her. So far she is still going to Disneyland with us...

The port was crazy with small boats trying to get out of the water. There had to be over 30 waiting. The Coast Guard came thru blowing their siren to get them to move over. I don't know. If I saw a very very large ship heading straight for me, I wouldn't need a siren..............

Everything went well until we decided at 3:00pm to get 2 of the kids haircuts and me a touch up on my color. I am a cheapskate and with the kids, making appts is impossible, so we go to a no appt place and hope for the best.

Long story short, I am sitting at my computer with Store bought hair color in my hair that I made DS16 put in for me, my DD10 is crying because she hates her hair cut
and DS13 swears that women are the strangest, most difficult things on the planet...

Today must have been a good day for a haircut. I chopped off 7" (yes 7 inches). I feel naked, but it will be a perfect length by the time 8/15 arrives.

Me too! I usually have a list made really early, but I have been procrastinating this one.... Does anyone who has already made a list want to share? I'm sure we would need to personalize it, but it might be less daunting a task if there was a list to start from.

I finally got the video uploaded to youtube. Turned out the firewire was still connected to my old computer and wasted around 2 hrs trying to get the darn thing to work on my new one.

It was very noisy at the park. Kids running all over and DH asking the occasional question, there was lots of editing. I do stand corrected when I said the Magic didn't sound the horn again. It did. I'm off to sleep as I do have tomorrow. With all the time I needed off for this trip, the personal time requests were pretty much turned down. I don't like the quality of the video on the web. Trying more options. If it comes out better I will switch it.

Fireworks tonight in SF - KFOG Kaboom. I usually watch the fireworks from my roof every year, but the stupid fog is rolled in this year. So i just get the low fireworks and the fog lights up with colorful bursts for the others. They set the fireworks to music - so it is as close to Disney as I can get 1x a year in SF.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and happy mother's day to all of you mother's out there.

I can not believe the little boats just zipping in front of the Magic! Holy cow I can't believe how close they came!

There were so many just waiting to get hauled out.First time ever,we had a real hard time just getting in the parking lot. Grills was packed. The ship was bearing down on them and blowing it's warning. At least it sounded like it was coming from the Magic. And you can hear the CG siren warning them to move.

Like I said before, if I saw a very large ship coming my way,..............
We were home by 6:30 . One of the shortest trips we ever did.

What day do they go thru the PC??? Anyone know??? I do hope it is not a day I work. It is so hard to hide the fact I am on the web.
