good night
The DISers were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of dancing bananas were scaring the carp out of them.

The husband's guide to survival-rule one, when in doubt, play dumb.

I'm here to tell you that you don't have to be married to apply that rule. Plenty of us single guys have learned the value of playing dumb! :)

16 Mondays until TOAL.

I doubt I'll ever get caught up. In-laws still have pay-by-the minute AOL dial up, so no Dising from there. Kid's First Communion went well. We had a nice little party afterwards. Deacon Grandpa & Eucharistic Minister Grandma managed to position themselves in the right place to serve the kids. I'll post pictures later.

From what I recall from lurking -

Monica, I'm so sorry about your accident. I hope you got checked out. I know when I was rear ended years ago I felt fine until about 8 hours later, then I went to the Dr. because I couldn't move my neck.

Rgoer - I'm sorry about your pain in the neck.

I'm excited about t-*****! Thanks Esteri.

Looks like everyone had a blast at Philly Star Wars / Castaway Cay adventure.

Kristina and Laurie - Wegmans, huh? Sounds good to me if they have wine!

Kid Journals - please volunteer on The Pirate Zone. I started a thread on the pre-cruise/LA part of the board & I am not nearly organized enough to keep track of all of this in 2 places. I think all the port days are covered right now, but we need sea day volunteers. All the info, including pages that still need volunteers is in the first post.

Oh, and when I go, just dump me in Cook Inlet. I've always wanted to be buried at sea. I hate cemetaries. Go to the beach and think about me.

Good Evening Everyone!

M, glad to hear everything went well with the First Communion. Hope all enjoyed the ocassion.

Esteri, thanks for all the work your putting into the T Shirts, Thank you Todd also for the great design make up. We put in our pre-orders today.

I think it was 11:15am last time at GCH.

When I called DCL a few weeks ago, they told me that I should call Super Shuttle to get to the port.

If I've booked that, do you think that is all right? or should I try to book a transfer with DCL? Now I'm confused. :confused3

I could not stand the suspense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIF!!!!!!

We used SuperShuttle on our last trip to DisneyLand and they were awesome. Very prompt, very very nice driver. So you can feel comfortable with them. I think we will use them. We are going from DL. There are only 7 of us with all our stuff. Wanna tag along?

You have that right . . . my middle daughter turns 14 October 15 and was looking forward to her first cruise using the Stack . . .:sad2: :sad2:
She's pretty close to 14, Hopefully they'll let her move up:confused3

Slightly better. Had a good day Saturday and this morning but yesterday was not so good. Thanks for asking. This is going to be one of those slow healing things. :sad1:
Roger, I was told to use cold packs to keep the inflammation down, but I also used the stick on heating pads during the day (just on the muscle) to relieve some of the pain. It does take a long time to heal. I had to sleep in a neck brace for a while because everytime I moved in my sleep it would hurt. Hope yours gets better soon:hug:

I heard they were just going to weigh passengers when the got on the ship & then again on the last night of the cruise & charge a poundage fee.

If there was a contest on who gained the most on the cuise I'm sure I would win it:sad2: How can it take a month to lose 4 pounds and 2 days to gain it back:confused3 I must have a super slow metabolism:headache:

I give mine the wonderful...compassionate phrase.."Pull up your big girl panties and deal with it.." it embarrasses her so! My Mom even got me that on a shirt for Mother's Day last year..of course..my daughter has sworn to disown me if I wear it. Ahhh..parenthood!
Gotta get even some way for all those embarrassing public temper tantrums:thumbsup2 Payback;)

:lmao: :lmao: Oh man am I in trouble. DH averages a pound a day on the cruise. I can't seem to convince him that just because food is always available doesn't mean he has to eat constantly!

Well looks like I'm going to have some competition on the weight gain:lmao:

Was Cher the instructor?
Most likely:rolleyes1

I'm up for anything, but I can't really get anywhere until 6-ish. Kids have ballgames.

Got any good restaurants near you:confused3 Old Town Alexandria has some good places. I've only been to Bilbo Baggins (I'm a Tolkien fan and couldn't resist:upsidedow )

Or, what were you eating... you got some bad breath :rotfl2:
See I get that one because Darren hates mint and I love it:lmao:

I'm here to tell you that you don't have to be married to apply that rule. Plenty of us single guys have learned the value of playing dumb! :)

And they learn early too, my DS14 is already learning:lmao: Do you guys have a secret website:confused3

You know how radio stations trot out the dogs barking Jingle Bells every Christmas?

All I can hear in my head right now is pigs snorting the Chariots of Fire theme.

Same thing I was hearing!

Hope your doing better Roger.

Wanted to ask you about sea sickness meds. Is there an newer alternative to scopalamine? Johnna will need something for the rougher days and I'd like to perscribe something beforhand. If you can recommend something I'd appreciate it.:)

Pete

Plus, I have a DD10 that loves Ocean Quest...hmmmm. Time to start worrying? She is an "old" ten being that she has 3 older siblings.

She'll get along great with my 10ds....we say that he is a 40 yr old man in a 10 yr olds body. :rotfl2:
