8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #6

May 9th is a Princess and Pirate party at MK. So, if we meet the 9th it has be before 7pm. Sorry, but we're not buyin' tickets.

The 8th has two showings of Spectro (at 9pm and 11pm) with fireworks between (10pm), it'll probably be packed. Of course, that first showing is the perfect time for a trip around POTC!! Or many trips around POTC.

I'm up for either the room, or the ride. Seeing as how I missed the one at DL in March.

Somebody make a decision and tell me where to show up.

Hey Capt'n if you've still got those sample shirts - bring them along to show to the east coast contingent. Or did they already get sent off for another meet?

I still have them , but I think everyone who is going to meet is from the West Coast ...LOL plus I will have to see where I am on baggage for the trip, dont wanna be over weight ...

But I am all for the Ride on POTC - Just let me know exactly what Day .... If I had known Pirate and Princess was going on I would have grown out the mustache and brought the costume , oh well less for my SM to stress about so I am not going to bring the "Captain" with us , But he will be there in spirit and voice ...LOL

They have a lot of nice stuff there. When the time comes, just send me a note with the item number and size. I can figure out how much more you need to add on, and we'll go from there. It doesn't make much sense for you to order it, and pay for shipping twice when I can just include it in my order.

Did y'all have a Cat 1 on the 11 nt? For some reason I thought you had a Cat 1 for this cruise...... Why I had ever even thought about what cabin another person has is beyond me.....

Yep, we had the Walt on the 11 night....but it really doesn't sleep 5 adults (not couples) well at all. The bed in the master doesn't make into twins, so one had that bed (lucky Mom!), I had the fold-out bed in the "library" and 2 other Moms had the twin beds in the second room. If the 5th Mom had stayed on the cruise (family emergency, she had to leave) we would have needed a roll-away because the sofa in the living room isn't a sleeper. So we purposely did the Cat 3 + 4 this time. Just as much space, plenty of bathrooms...and a bed for everyone.


Oh...and it's not true what they say about "once you've had a suite you'll never want to go back down"....we had the Roy on the last Mexican Riviera cruise, and this time, my son and I are in a Cat 6. Doesn't bother me at all!

Actually, it was a 'little' joke, as it was the Cybermen!!!

Silly me... I wuz in such a hurry earlier today. I took you litterially... at any rate when we got to the theater I found they had changed the show times - and I failed to take note of that the other day. So we scrambled to run to another theater near by so we could make a showing without having to change any other plans today!

... we caught the NIM Movie, had pizza then hit the Farm where it was hot hot hot - but then the afternoon coastal breeze swept in to bring some relief. We had the lightest crowd I've ever seen at the farm, but we had almost all of our Daisy Troop together. So, they did all the usual Farm things... checked out the animals, saw an animal show, rode the tractor ride, and picked all manner of vegies and strawberries. Then we retired with one family to have a meal at Bucca De Beppo. Followed by some running through a computerized fountain adjoining the restuarant. While they ran through the water I snuk away to get Neslie Crunch Ice Cream bars from the near by Rite Aid. Now - they're in the tub as I watch the Doobie Bros in concert on HD, and in a few minutes the Moody Blues wil be on as well. It's a Concert filmed at the local Greek Theater - also in HD... Oh Boy!

Oh yeah.... when the kids were in the fountain I pretended to be "the water monster" and chased the girls as I growled loudly... that is... until I inadvertantly FRIGHTENED a little 4 year old boy. He ran away from me crying to his parents! I felt really sorry so I immediately brought over a nestle Crunch Ice Cream bar which completely transformed his crying to bright eyed smiles. After that he was my pal following me as I chased after the girls through the fountain.

Hello everyone,, its been many many months since I was last on here.. so busy in that thing called life...

Glad to announce the cruise is all paid for and airfair is already booked.

I have been trying to catch up with the posts but thats useless...

Been on the Pirates webpage and reading alot of usful info... thanks to all that made that possible!!!

I hope to be here more often.... but time will tell.

Looking forward to mtg more of you and getting to know you a bit more..

I agree! We had the Roy for the 10nt I know they say it sleeps 7 but.....we got oldest ds & dd (they are in their 20's) their own room (a Cat 8) and then we had the 3 younger children with us. I would NOT have wanted all of those bodies in there to sleep! Eating breakfast together was fine.....

It wouldn't bother me, either! The only reason dh wanted a suite is because he wants 2 bathrooms --- our 3 left at home are 17dd, 10ds & 6dd. We don't want minor children in a seperate stateroom and dh & I aren't going to split up for 15nts! LOL! We have been known to sleep boys in one room and girls in another for a night or two on vacation but, that's my limit!

QUESTION?

Have we in our group any CAT 1/2/3 Dissers, who can book next Sunday, I was looking at the Pirate Zone couldnt see anyone?

Although I am not lucky enough to have one of those categories..I am renewing my wedding vows and am supposed to be allowed as a perk to book next weekend. I am ready to go..just not sure it will work!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We finally managed a weekend day that didn't include a Girl Scout event...tried to beat the heat and went for lunch and a walk by the ocean...breezy and 98 degrees! It was nice just to spend the day doing not much of anything!

We did manage a trip to Company D (it's an outlet for Cast members here). I found some goodies for the FE ..the CM wanted to know if they were for family and friends for Xmas..I informed them they were for the cruise..they looked at me like I was insane! (OK..so there were SEVERAL items) all I can say it's a good thing I get to catch the ship here instead of trying to fly with all of this stuff!
