Anybody know what time the excursions/palo reservations will open online 5/19 for castaway members? (IE: 12am est, 8am est, I'm having a senior moment about this) Sorry if this has been discussed previously but the old message lists is a tad long.

Thanks!

Hi...everything I've seen has been 12am EST on Monday, May 19th. I think most people are looking at it as Midnight EST on Sunday, May 18th, probably because on the west coaster it'll only be 9PM Sunday evening.

Darrah....

WOW!!! Congrats to whoever gets THAT milestone!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Well....

... no chance it's gonna me ME unless I can slow my spouse down in getting reqady WITHOUT yelling at ME to get ready... and not UNLESS I can call our friends to sheepishly inform them we've been delayed about half an hour or so....

... Gee, it's so tough to be INNOCENT when you have to manipulate so mant things for your own self serving agenda....

< Wink >

Congrats on your large credit card bill statement! I hope you find it 'interesting'' but not to high interesting.

Congrats on PIF.:thumbsup2

Geee .....

All this talk about PIF already is leaving me feeling a bit isolated. Maybe I should lodge a complaint with the ACLU or somethin'? Either dat or I need to get with the program, eh?

We celebrated May Day in the Kindergarten yard yesterday. I thought you might enjoy a few pictures. Particularly those still suffering with sn*w. There aren't so many places where you can see these old traditions.

Here is the 7th grade entertaining us while the Kindergarten prepares. They're practicing for the whole school May Day festival tomorrow when they'll play for the 8th grade who, dressed in white and wearing flower crowns, will dance the May Pole. Yeup - those 14 year olds really do, even the boys, it's a rite of passage for them.

Ah, here comes the Kindergarten. Led by Jaren and Riley spreading the rose petals.

And here's our little one. The moms who's youngest child is celebrating their last kindergarten May Day get to help make the flower crowns. I helped Issac with his. It was really fun.

First some singing and skipping around the May Pole.

irhSings-sm.jpg

Then they get the ribbons. Nothing fancy, just more singing, and skipping around the pole.

irhRibbons-sm.jpg

Finally the kindergarten gathers to watch...

watchers-sm.jpg

As the parents take their turn. There's Daddy, taking his turn around the pole. Of course, the gorwn-ups have to do a more complicated dance. It's great fun.

It has been hard to keep up the past few days. I must have missed your posts with my speed reading.

It's funny, I haven't met most of the people here, but find myself thinking about them during the day, or wondering if they're ok when I haven't noticed any posts.

Hmmm.....

.... sounds as if it's simply the decent thing ta do if ya ask me. Either that or it's time to schedule a session with Lil'G.

So on another note I just called (and reached) the families that were to meet us in 12 minutes... and shifted it out a half hour. My family is not ready to go to JPL yet anyways... ( wink ) .... so you figure I should TELL Alicia I shifted the meeting time out 30 minutes? ( silent devious grinnin' ) Or should I just continue to sit here wacking away at the keyboard and let Alicia get the family ready alone?

Wow Esteri!

You folks ran a mighty sophisticated May day event! I don't think we did anything like that out here!

I gotta leave to meet my "Gang" to head over for the JPL open house in about 25 minutes. I have no means of posting on the move (wahhh!) so I'm gonna probably miss the final sprint for the 100,000th prize!

Poor crash, lets all just wait and not post until he comes back. :rolleyes1 :cool2:

Ahhh....

... but I told the families waiting to meet us for JPL hat we've been delayed an indeterminate period! So they went to Costco or are hanging around the house til I call for us to meet .....

I'm wrestling with the same decision !

I know, and whilst today should be better, guess what I missed these two until Crash quoted one.

Yes this thread has upped tempo, and for me its more difficult, as most posts on this thread occur when I am in bed!

Acapulco is in the balance, I might book something, but cancel later, you can do that up to 72 hours pre cruise, and I will be in the USA then anyway.

I need to work out my budget.

PS

ON HOLIDAY/VACTION MAY 25TH SO DO NOT WORRY WHEN I DO NOT POST!

Awwww. What a great tradition and great pictures! :)

Well here's the really cool part. My brother, who is cruising with us, owed me some money from last year. I asked him if instead of making the payment to me, he would make the payment to the cruise. I was expecting him to make a large payment to the cruise & then I was going to pay off the remainder. He paid off the full amount !!

How cool is he ?:cool2:

Did you remember to tell your BIL you guys had another long lost relative who he's indebtted to since we shared time in the crib? I'm NOT PIF yet either an' maybe while he's at it he might wash my account too!???

Amazing, is it not?!

< wink >

91 or so to go....

But now I gotta go get a picnic prepared and move a double stroller over before Alicia catches me here at the keyboard!

Kevin has never been Horseback Riding and we would really like to go on this trip. The only things we have booked for sure are the Zipline in PV and Harley Tour in Aruba in the morning/early afternoon. Any suggestions?
