My emu oil was $50.00 an ounce. Hope this stuff is cheaper.

OK, don't you know I just bought a $50.00 bottle of emu oil and after the 2nd surgery last Friday don't you know he wnats me to use something different now. :sad2: Now he wants me to use "Silicone sheeting". Can't wait to find out how much that is going to cost me.

I'm not doing shots of silicone anything !!

Think we might have solved the Ocean Quest puzzle...

DH says he distinctly remembers doors back into the "guts" of the ship from the Ocean Quest area. We figure, with the ship being sold out, and Ocean Quest being so small, they're going to put the 11-13 yo crowd to work. (Big enough to get something useful done, but not as much attitude as the teens... yet.) Possibly three or four crews - dishwashing, laundry, garbage sorting, and one crew playing in OQ - to keep appearances up - ya know?

We figure they'll be so tired, they'll come back to their cabins and collapse. No 11yo packs wandering loose around the ships. Brilliant.

That, or it'll be Lord of the Flies, and we'll wind up in Hawaii.

.

Definately, Lord of the Flies :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Go Sarah:cheer2: :cheer2:

:

Good news! Sarah did indeed make the team again. :cheer2: :cheer2: In fact, she was the first one called when they announced the team. So she was really really happy. The tryouts lasted about 2.5 hours longer than we expected so it was a long night and she was pretty nervous. She is really excited about the new coach and her new team. It was fun bringing the girls home as they were so relieved and excited!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

Dear Boss,

Please excuse Radioclash from being late to work today, she had to ketchup on the DIS.

He wanted to sign up and thought it would be great....:headache:

Hate them. Someone is welcome to mine.

Guess I'll just wander off to the shunned portion of the ship now. Gettin' mighty crowded there. :rotfl2:

Not a lobster fan either...... save room for me

That's what the exchange was like on the Med repo last year -- one person had the designated cabin and put a tote bag on her cabin during the day . . . if you were finished with a book you left it there (permanently) and if you needed one you could go by and find one you wanted.

Jo (ga9497), if you wanted to be the point person, we would just print your cabin number on our mini navigator as the location of the Pirate Library.

Julie - I don't mind being the point of contact
Whatever is left in the bag at the end of the cruise I will leave in the Cove Cafe for future cruisers to enjoy

I know its not the Schoolhouse Rocks..but it has been stuck in my head for 2 days because somebody sang it to me on Tuesday!

pirate: "The Pirates That Don't Do Anything" pirate:

we are the pirates we don't do anything
we just stay at home, and lie around
and if you ask us, to do anything
we'll just tell you, we don't do anything

That's a "something" and cliff divers tour, right?

Any idea when the actuak cliff diver show is?

Correction - the tour actually begins at 7:45am
Acapulco Cliff divers and city tour

Don't know when the actual diving will held but here is the description of the tour

Abandon all worries as you set your sights upon the panoramic magnificence of Acapulco's coastline — brimming with rocky climbs and secluded coves — during a scenic 30-minute air-conditioned motor coach drive to arguably the most popular attraction in the city: the cliff of La Quebrada where the world-famous cliff divers take their death-defying plunge. Since 1934, the cliff divers of La Quebrada have risked their lives hurling themselves from rocky perches 140 feet high into the shallow waters of the Pacific Ocean, timing their jumps to coincide with the incoming waves. Stop at the Hotel El Mirador in the Traditional Zone, which overlooks the seaside cove where the divers jump, and gaze in amazement at the breathtaking spectacle with a refreshing drink in hand. After the dives, take in a Mexican folklore show, where colorfully costumed dancers perform traditional Mexican dances. After the show, enjoy 30 minutes of shopping and sightseeing before beginning your two-hour city tour.

After shopping, embark on a scenic city drive along the picturesque waterfront boulevard known as La Costera in the Golden Zone. Brimming with restaurants, shops, music and stone sculptures, La Costera is one of the most popular places to shop and sightsee in town, and is the main thoroughfare of the city. Marvel at the pristine golden sands and breathtaking blue waters of Hornos, Hornitos and Tamarindos beaches, and snap a picture of Zócalo, the scenic, tree-lined square of Acapulco. Then, make your way to a picture perfect perch and revel in the breathtaking beauty of Acapulco Bay, Puerto Marques Bay and Tres Palos Lagoon. Continue on, past the new and luxurious Acapulco Diamond Zone, and behold the Acapulco Princess and the Mayan Palace, two impressive hotels featuring majestic old-world architecture. After your approximate two-hour tour of spectacular Acapulco, relax and unwind as you make your way back to the ship.

On Cruise Critic, the guy that runs the port said that for the special morning shows, it's usually around 8:30am. These tours will go to the divers first, then do the city or fort. Most of the shops and such don't open until about 9am.

Just moving these over.....

Thanks for the info.

:yay: :yay: :yay:

We're also arriving on the 10th.

Lucky you ! We don't arrive till the 16th.

Morningpirate: Hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be MIA with all the Derby festivities. If yesterday is any indication, it is going to be a long one. I didn't leave work until after 11 pm last night. It was parade day. There are about 40 folks coming to our house Saturday to watch the races--everyone have their Derby pick? Mine is going to be the luck of the draw----(I have no idea who is racing--but a horse will win!).

So we get through this long weekend of partying and then my store remodeling begins on Monday. They are taking my gas dispensers out Tuesday. I told my contractor I sure hope I still like them once everything is finished. Going to take 2 weeks to get the new dispensers installed and all the repiping finished. For the remodel we are looking at 4 weeks--sure hope they keep on schedule---I leave for Hilton Head on June 15th.
:)

Although it sounds hectic & busy........I am sure you guys will have a great time ! I haven'y looked at the horses yet, I usual pick a favorite as I see them walk to the gate. I am sure it's nothing like watching the Derby in Derby country !:thumbsup2

Wonder if anyone can answer this ? Yesterday it took me forever to find and get into my Wish List. Since I have never had to book an excursion before.is the wish list automatically populated in the place we go to book the excursion?Or do we have to put them in again during the booking ?
