You need to remember, for Cabo and PV, there are a ton of other DCL trips there, and the excursions are there for them.

That's true..I forget that they would be there for the 7 day cruises.

Thanks for the pictures..i showed my DD..it was nice for her to see. We are hoping to do a NY trip in the next few years.

Great pictures Tom:thumbsup2 I don't think this subject has ever been brought up here, but how many of you are into genealogy? I have been working on mine for about the last 8 years. The advent of online census and the Ellis Island going online a couple of years ago has really helped. I would really love to travel around some year picking up clues on my lost branches.

I have totally been into it for about 2 years, just let my geneaology.com (sp??) subscription drop (seems I'm spending time on other free websites these days)

Hit some road blocks that will require cemetery and records hall trips...

Reminds me, I got the cutest t-shirt the other day. The purchase helps fund breast cancer research, and it says
"Save the TA-TAS"
Took it home and showed Jay. He just looked at it.
He didn't know what TA-TAS were!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
That man is out of it. :sad1:

I saw quite a few shirts like that (or variations) at the Breast Cancer Marathon in Jacksonville this year. Lisa and I just watched, but the boys ran it. (It was the marathon suppported by all of the Galloway Running Groups around the country) All of the shirts, etc were pink for the runners gifts. Lisa ended up with a lot of pink items and she didn't even have to run.

She actually ended up with a lot of pink items from the Minnie 15k from this past weekend when the boys ran with me. They gave all of their things to Lisa who supported us by laying in bed sleeping and then watching the Disney channel while we ran.

I volunteer also (but I don't sing!) if you need anymore readers.

I might be wantin' to go to Mass just to see you all onstage. Wonder what my Christian pastor brother would say about that?

I am a bit...I know that my great-grandparents on my father's side came through Ellis Island from Italy. We can trace our genealogy on my maternal grandmothers side back to the 1600's when they came over from England as one of the early settlers in Massachusettes - true story, one of my ancestors was accused of being a witch in Salem during the witch hunts.

I chose the black one with the letters spelled out in crystals. I may never wear it, but I felt like I was doing a good thing.

Deanna, (buckifan)

I don't remember where your kids go to school. Did they move your start date up for the next school year? My kids are at St. Brendan and they moved our start date up by an entire week, so now they will missed 8 days of school instead of 3. This has me VERY stressed out. The school also has a strict policy that they will not give out work to any student until it has been taught in the classroom. They are going to come home to a ton of work. They are going into 4th and 7th grade.

Lori

Lori....That sticks! The school should help you out with the work the kids will miss since they changed the schedule on you so late.

I remember your dh had mentioned your kids went to St. Brendan's...that is the parish my grandma belongs to.

My kids will only miss 2 days of school, and my dd will miss her "meet the teacher day"....but no biggie. Kylie will start 3rd grade and Drew will start 8th grade in the Fall.

BTW....I'm playing ketchup right now, so you may have commented on this, but we are talking about an Ohio mini-meet. You all will have to come!

ShelleyBipBop....I know that our Mod Lisa said that DCL doesn't hold back any reservations for the 90 day people (and so on) but I really think that they must. I can't imagine things booking up just with suite people. The odds of that would be mind boggling.

That's great -- I wish it was't sooo early..... I know dh and the 2 little kids (10 & 7) aren't going to be able to make it to Mass! LOL!
DH has a rule at home.... *If you go to Mass before noon I'm not going.* :rotfl:
Now if they had midnight mass all year long he'ld go! :lmao:

We go to 8:30am every Sunday. We are so used to waking up early all week long, we just don't know how to sleep in! :goodvibes

I'm bad...I would be right there with Lisa, sleeping and then watching tv!

I'd probably wear it in the house...even without having the darn things too!

I've been a victim of decades and decades of singing along with Bostons' "More than a Feelin'"....
[

I love that song tooo! I like Boston and classic rock anyway....

Congrats to all PIF!!!!!!!!!!

This exactly why we go to 5:00 pm Mass Saturday evening - I don't get up early on the weekends unless I absolutely positively have to and DH also works most weekends so it is really the only time we can go together as a family.

Wear it on the cruise- dare ya. ;)
And we'll all point out to Jay (repeatedly) what ta-tas means. :rotfl:
okah I will click there for explanation

I'm not sure what y'all are trying to say about this. I mean I'm missing the point or something. I'm so confused. LOL

ShelleyBipBop....I know that our Mod Lisa said that DCL doesn't hold back any reservations for the 90 day people (and so on) but I really think that they must. I can't imagine things booking up just with suite people. The odds of that would be mind boggling.
Mind boggling to me too.
And I talked to our travel agent and she said they've been told that they only allow 75% of bookings online. I said where do you book the other 25%-she said ONBOARD. It does not make sense to me that they'd hold back 25% for booking onboard... yet not hold any back for each opening of bookings (ie: 90 days and 75 days)- so basically either get it if you're on concierge or fight over it onboard? That really doesn't make sense to me.. seems they'd rather let their cc members have a chance at them!
But the travel agent also said that the excursions thru DCL are VERY limited- like they may only book say 20 people for the dolphin swim, so that it IS very likely that everything like that could be booked up solid by concierge guests.
:( :( :(
(ps. leave it to you to come up with an even more unique way of addressing me. shelleybipbop? LOL)

You can tell her more than that.

Besides going to Mass on the cruise, tell her that I am going to bless the Quiet Cove pool so that you can swim in the world's largest holy water font! :rotfl:

But my ds is allowed in that pool! Can you please bless the Goofy pool too!
