My brother found DS. He's going to take him to his house for the night and try to figure out what's bothering him.

If it weren't for the GPS locator service on the phone, we would not have any idea where he was. His cell service just started offering it last week, thank goodness.

So happy you found him safe and sound. :grouphug: to you and your son. Lots of  sent to you!

Let's start a countdown...............
30 days till we can book excursions
:cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2:

By my calculations:

29 days till:

Was pleasantly surprised yesterday....

My son had gotten notice that he had received second place in a "create and earth day bumper sticker contest" and we should stop by the Earth Day Festival at the County Park.

We just assumed it was second place in his class or school, turns out it was second place in his age group in whole county! He was called up on stage and given a gift cert to Barnes and Noble.

Hola Roger!

Last weeks' Colonial Day at the Reagan Library was litely attended. And it was sort of a low key event. Nice just the same.

Todays' Earth Day events at the park behind the Main TO Library was rather more extensive then I expected - but in the end it was still a modest event. Our troop planted a tree with a little help from a few other troop members and even a few Daisys.

Hope alls well in your neck of the woods this weekend!

So - anyone up for a friendly sprint to 3000?

Shoot .... I could almost make it all the way there by myself if I were younger by a year an' as rascally as back then in 2007.... < wink >

You were right around the corner from us at the library! My youngest went to the Arbor day celebration with some friends but they left because it was so crowded.

Thanks.

And to add good measure, I sent pic and notice to his Grandmother (my Mom) and now she is gushing over him so he is not really embarrassed!

I bet he is pretty embarassed too. He probably had no idea what he was getting into! :)

Have a great day...

31?

Real question coming...

If you were to ask for Disney dollars or something along the line from family/friends etc for the trip. What would you request?

We have 2 B-days coming up before the trip and our 15th Anniversary is a few weeks before the trip. And I don't need anything, so on board credits or Disney dollar or something would be great. But I am not sure how to request it...

You could just say Disney gift cards would be best.

I've been playing with getting pix at my DS8's baseball games (DS10's games have been evening so far, so too harsh shadows), and have gotten lucky with a few shots. Ignoring the "stylish" slide my DS is putting on here, check out the opposing catcher caught in mid air

Morning everyone.

Currently 68 under cloudy skies going up to 84.
Just hope any rain holds out til I come back from my lunch break.

Tina, we paid 200 pp for our flight out to LA. Nonstop, decent hour of the day as well. Just wanted the nonstop.

I wanted non-stop but we couldn't get it. We will have to rush in Houston to catch our connecting flight. Not to mention the 2 hour and 10 min. ride we will take to get to Charleston. I don't want to sound like I am complaing though...........so happy we were just able to get a flight there. :goodvibes
Congrats on your non-stop,that will make it so much easier.

Ahhhh, Baseball season. I love baseball! That is a great action picture.

That is what I thought...surprisingly, we have never used them before!

Do a "Dear Friends and Family" letter

You may already be aware of this, but I need to come clean. I am a Disney nut. I need your help in furthering my insanity to the next level. We really don't need anything around the house, etc. so if you feel the necessity to give me a gift, help further my DISease. Mickey Mouse (a.k.a. Disney) gift cards are wonderful gifts! You can get them http://disney.go.com/disneygiftcard/index.html

I hate to fly, so if there is ANY way to go non stop, we do it. Thus, many trips to O'hare (about an hour and 30 minutes from us). With a grumbling husband as he says I am insane...Come on, with all the kids...switching planes, BAD IDEA. Right? It has nothing to do with my phobia...I swear!
