Are you sure they're not required. It seemed like there was conflicting info. At the top right part of the page, it said that passports are required for both repo cruises, then it said at the bottom of that same page that US Citizens had a choice of documentation. I read it quickly and don't have it in front of me, so I may be all washed up.

We need passports because of the stop in Columbia.

I love Disney, but I have a hard time with permanently afixing any corporate symbol on my body. I had a temp Tink at WDW for a few trips.

These things are addicting. I kinda want another one...

Yes, they are addicting - this will be my 3rd one in a year.

Morning all! Just trying to ketchup.

I was looking thru a catalog and saw the roll up space bags for packing. Has anyone used these ? I was trying to see if they were TSA approved.I haven't flown since all the security measures were implemented. So how does this effect all the cases of water we all planned to take on board etc. Sorry if I am rambling. It's way early for me.

I used them once and they are OK. If things are flat it works much better. I might have to dig mine up. I have also use regular zip lock bags and you can do the same thing with them. Gallon size or 2 gal work well.

Last night, we're at soccer practice and my DW asks if I read that DCL is now peanut-free? I just laugh and say that it's not. She replies -- how do you know, I swore I read that somewhere -- then she got that moment of revelation and said, oh was it part of that fake newsletter? I said yes and asked if she read the part about the Mickey Bars. She said no, she had just read the headline as she was mad enough at the other articles. She said that she's now mad again about the newsletter. Fortunately, we got the DCL official packet last night and the passporter, so she knows that it's "real". I still find the whole thing hilarious as she really fell for it. Shame on me. ;)

Good Morning!
It is Friday..but it's raining..still it's FRIDAY!

I think it would have to be nautral blonde!:lmao:

So it doesn't make it weigh less?!? Pooh!:lmao:

About 2 Decembers ago got to MCO after a weekend at WDW. I did alot of shopping (as usual) and one suitcase was over by 3lbs. They gave me the pay $50 or remove items. So I took exactly 4 different items out..I chose the right ones...came down in weight to exactly 50lbs! The two women at the counter were amazed I got it exactly right...Brendan of couse says..."you shop too much in Disney!" ....Who doesn't right? (BTW they were mostly Christmas gifts!)

Chrissie
(I want dcl mail)

That's why I got a luggage scale at Target for under $10. Now I can repack before the airport!

Hey If I got the DCL pack this week yours should be coming soon. Our PO is so slow here. :snail:

AND on another note.. what in the world is everyone planning to do in aculpulco now that we're barely gonna be there? *sigh*
That was gonna be our favorite port and now we're not there long enough to do anything even if we did get up at the crack of dawn and tried to be first off the ship. :lmao:
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
DH wanted to scuba dive there but I wanted to do some FAMILY stuff this time. I'm not real keen on just going around by myself out of the states.. and it doesn't appear we have enough time to do both things that short day. And I'm not keen on doing a lot of stuff this trip like last time- with DH off scuba diving and ME doing everything with the kids. So DH may have to just forget about scuba diving there on that short day. is all I'm saying. LOL

So what are y'all planning on doing that short time in acupulco?

WalMart ... no, seriously. The WalMart in Acapulco has a HUGE liquor store inside. The first plan was for the Dad's to go to WalMart and stock up with adult type beverages, while the Mom's took the kids sight-seeing (I've been to Acapulco before). I really wanted the kids to see the Cliff Divers and I'm still holding out hope that the 1:00pm is supposed to be 1:00am ;) I just know that with a lot of sea days and canal crossing day coming AFTER Acapulco ... the bar bill for our group might reach really :scared1: numbers without a trip to WalMart :rotfl2:

OK I have been up for awhile and had my coffee

Good moring pirate: s Happy Friday!

G'mornin' pirate: Anyone else as happy as me that Friday actually arrived this week. I'm telling you that about Tuesday or Wednesday, I was feeling pretty skeptical :rolleyes1

I'm glad all is well -- Having lived in Western Missouri or eastern KS most of my life, I've been through many nights like that. Fortunately, we had basements for shelter which made us feel a little more secure. I've heard that in areas w/o basements, that many homes have reinforced storm rooms in the center of the house built with reinforced concrete or cinder blocks.

They actuallly had a person on the news the other day with one of those. Theirs was actually a bullet-proof "panic room". :scared1: The other 99.5% of us just assume it is never going to hit us. ;)

Well that's a plan. hehe

Such a bummer about the short time there huh? :(

Showered, taken the kids to school and back home. I am free until 2:30 this afternoon. :cool1: :cool1:

Hey Roger- apparantly I cannot access your blog from work. Do you know of any other transportation services from LAX to San Pedro besides Super Shuttle and Proto Limos?

It's Friday! Yay. I love Fridays......

Anyways, finally all "ketchup". Rainy and overcast here today - glad the cruise ship was here yesterday when it was nice and sunny.

Off to have shower and set life in motion for the day.

Never really have had a desire for a tattoo. If I did, it would be a small mickey icon near my ankle.
I have one in red/white/blue on my toe

I have my Passporter here:
In Acapulco from 6:30am-1:00pm

Acauplco Highlights, Shopping, and Cliff Divers is 5-5.5 hours

Acapulco City Tour with Cliff Divers 4.5-5 hours

Based on that I am saying it is going to be a VERY early starting time for those excursions. Another reson I do not want to do on my own.

I thought the cliff divers thing is in the afternoon or evening though? Will they be changing that so we can still do those tours even though we're only in Acupulco early morning to like 1pm?

Sure is not very long. Hope I do not oversleep- might miss the whole port. :rotfl2:
That's what I was thinking.
I mean geesh I'm NOT a morning person ever... but certainly not on vacation! We didn't even do any of the sit down breakfast on our last cruise. LOL We mostly had breakfast (snack) in the room before we head out- or buffet breakfast kinda late. I may just stay up the entire night before because otherwise it's gonna be REAL HARD for me to get up at 6:30am or earlier. LOL
