The entertainment list that Celestine has posted is for the May WB
I am sure the shows are the same but the deck party nights may be different because of the different ports / times -

I have spoken with a few people at DCL, higher ups, and they have not received the information from the ship itself as to when the dining rotation (theme nights) will be. They have said that the people in charge of this on the ship are the ones that actually make up the schedules and the offices on land have not received the information from the Magic for the EB sailing

patiently waiting our turn for info :surfweb:
:thumbsup2

Down to the cruise director!

I want to know who took my DS on a cruise???? :confused3

Just got off the phone with DCL. I was moving my floater ressie out to next year. I wanted to double check my CC number was on it since I booked that floater on my first ever DCL crusie. Anyway, she repeated mine and said that my son was showing as a repeat cruiser as well.

I'm guessing it's showing that since he was on my original Med ressie but I replaced him at the last minute. But now I wonder if my mom got a CC number or if they messed that up too?

By the way, Andrew and Crash, I'm now scheduled for your Aug 15 2009 cruise. I have no idea at this point if I'll actually cruise it or not. I wanted to schedule something that could work for us if we chose to use it.

Great news you could join us, I would recommend booking asap, as the limited Tortola trips are now starting to book up fast nad the prices are increasing, I have read this on the main boards.

I would be very pleased to see you on that cruise!

Hey everybody...............just a quick update on the DELTA situation. DH called them again this morning, spoke with yet another supervisor who finally said he would give us a full refund on our tickets even though they are non-refundable. See what we found below in the Contract of Carriage.

SO, DH went back to the flight schedules and found tickets with AirTran for a little less than we were originally paying but we have flights again!

Delta may amend these Conditions of Carriage at any time. Your travel
will be governed by the rules that are in effect on the date your
travel begins. In the event that we amend these Conditions of Carriage
in a way that materially affects the terms and conditions of your
ticket purchase after you have purchased your ticket but before your
travel begins, and you do not agree to be bound by the rules as
amended, you may request a full refund of your ticket price."

Given the order of the ports, I wonder if this is for the WB more than us? This is the WB itinerary:

We have a late night at Aruba (11:30 on board), so I wouldn't think that would be a deck party night. The WB leaves at 9:30, prime time for deck party.....

I checked with TA (before I posted) & she said that it was for EB. I just wondered whether the "deck party" for Aruba was therefore the midnight buffet or whatever it is called?

There is a dessert buffet one night, it was near the end of the cruise last time, I would place it on a night other than a clock change night, as we loose three lots of one hours on this cruise, but they do not think of that!

Aruba is my view for pirates night as DCL had it in Curacao last time, and they are great creatures of habit. Tom has said it might be the following night, thats possible but I think they will not wish to store the fireworks for too long so they will come onboard at Aruba,

Thanks. We're booked. I just won't know until next year whether or not we'll be able to sail.

Good for you. I've seen so many complaints about the way Delta is handling this. I've got a friend going to WDW for 10 days in July. I had to tell her that she needed to learn how to pack light. She had no idea about any of the airlines changing their policy. She would have shown up at the airport with 2 bags and been very upset.

They stored them for several days last summer. We had Pirate night after sailing several days across the Atlantic but before Castaway Cay.

I e-mailed the wedding coordinator who is handling our vow renewal to see if I could give them a list of people who wanted to attend the ceremony, but didn't want to go back to Palo for the cake cutting/champagne. I heard back from her that we can't do that. In her words," Even though you say that your guests will not be coming to the cake cutting reception. It is not in Disney standards to allow someone to come to a ceremony and then tell them that they are not allowed to come to the reception. Also the Wedding Coordinator will have to handle those guests that come to the ceremony." But if you make it off the ship and see us, please stop by to say Hi.

All that being said, we still have room if any of you were interested in coming to the ceremony and to Palo. Just PM me to let me know. I need to let the coordinator know by the beginning of May. We'd love to see some of you there, but we also understand that it is Castaway Cay day, and don't want to cut into your plans for the day.

In related vow renewal news, we ordered a dress for Hailey, and matching vests and ties for the boys and me. I have to say both David's Bridal and Men's Wearhouse were good to work with. We also got our tux measurements while at MW, so I guess ordering our tux rentals from cruiselineformal is our next step. It feels good to cross something off the planning list.

Thats great

For that trip there wasn't any alternative, with so many sea days, but IMHO, safety comes first and with so many ports of call the can reduce the risk and take on either in Columbia or Aruba, My view the Panama authorities would not be pleased to know pyrotechnics are on board during the transit when they are bumping the Magic into the locks.

Thanks for the update and I'm glad it worked out for you! I'm printing this off and will be contacting Delta next week after I get my replacement Disney visa card (the card I bought them with to begin with). In the meantime, I'll be researching airfare again.

We're so excited to go to DL. My DH was there last when he was 6 yo. None of the rest of us have been there before.

Last time I was there was age 7....43 yrs. ago. Kevin has never been either.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
We got Mickey Mail on Thursday. Trust me M, there's NOTHING in there you already don't know. After a quick scan, I put it down as a waste of time. Much better information available here.

We had a nice weekend - I took a day off and we went skiing on Friday. Sadly, the sunscreen was forgotten, but we skiied anyway. DH doesn't burn, and boys had helmets, goggles, and coats past their chins - so not much was exposed. I, on the other hand, now bear a striking resemblence to a reptile - probably a snake.

I don't recommend skiing without sunscreen as a good head start on your summer tan.

It was worth it though to see DH6 take his first intermediate run!

Well, gotta run - up at o-dark-thirty tomorrow to catch a flight. Travelling for the next 3 days - ug.

Your husband is only 6years old?! :lmao:

I hope I do not see this too much!

My take/ guess on schdule
