This message board has really gotten to my DH. He was reading Andrew's "story" over my shoulder last night. (Good one Andrew).

Then this morning he told me he had a dream that we were on the ship sitting on the deck by the pool when I just disappeared. It seems I abandoned him to be with my DIS friends.:lmao: :lmao: I think he is feeling a little threatened. So make sure to make him feel welcomed. He will be the guy in the corner all by himself.:rotfl2: Good thing he doesn't read this board except over my shoulder, otherwise I would be in trouble. He really is a great guy, just a little shy.

Bless his little heart! ;)

Hey, I'm being ignored. am I invisible? LOL didn't anyone see my post? :(

My son would flip to see Miley.

The rest of the list didn't impress me. Now you add Johnny Depp and I'll perk up a bit. Oh, can you imagine Johnny on our cruise and our Captain on pirate night??
perk up a bit?
perk up a BIT?????????

There's a way to do shirts on the cheap with iron-ons.... (They wouldn't be screened on the same as the one's we're ordering but workable....) i did iron on's for my thing1/thing2 shirts for halloween and i think Todd has done some before.

I can get white and/or black shirts usually for $2 or 2.50 each . Now the shirt transfers are a little more $$ though. (probably under $25 for as many as your shirts will need.)

or is that out of budget too?
It's not out of budget- just not sure if I could do it well enough that we won't look like the "cheap" version of the shirts- in which case I'd rather not have the shirts at all than look 'different' than everyone elses and let everyone know we couldn't afford them. :( I don't know how much the shirts are going to cost yet though... so we'll see.

Luckily in my dream your diet has been spectacularly successful . . .:lmao: :lmao: You look exactly like the cute waiter I met in Florence . . .
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats if they let me in the darm thing.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, BIP!

You are definitely not invisible! The passport thing was weird -- I don't know what to make of it!

Hey BIP, great to hear the passports came so quickly.

As far as the iron ons go, might be worth buying the 3 pack and one shirt, see how it looks then decide on balance???

I still haven't got mine yet:confused3

Mine, neither, Laurie . . .:sad2:

At least now I know I'm in good company.

Do they go to our TA first and then to us?

We are a family of 5 too. We decided that we're only going to get the white t-****'s. We'll wear them on embarkation day, so we'll look sort of the same, but different.:confused3

I'm pretty sure all of them out here sell wine. All of our grocery stores sell it too. Although you won't find 2 Buck Chuck in a grocery store, only TJ's.

HA, lucky you. We tried to pass a law a few years ago to let all grocery stores sell beer and wine, but the liquor store lobby really put up a fight and it failed. I think only 3 stores per chain within the state can sell it

......and, in TAXachusetts, it's 3 Buck Chuck

Thanks everyone for the extra laughs today. Printed off the newlsletter and gave it to DH on his way out the door this morning like I always do. About 20 mins after he left he called home - DCL changed the itinerary, I can't believe its changed. Go on the website and check on it, this has to be a misprint..............Of course I started cracking up laughing and then he got quiet and said goodbye. He swears he wasn't fooled but I know he was even if just for a moment:laughing:

I think my DH is a little nervous too;) Make sure he is up on some of the lingo and inside jokes-that should help

Sorry been MIA. I know it's been too long when I have to look up my password  . Happy Birthday/Anniversary to all that I have missed. Hope all is going well with everyone. I am doing great, plugging along with treatments and will be done with everything May 1st
Good to see you back:yay:

My DS would LOVE that. A wrapper like that would make him want it even more. Crazy kid. He loves the Harry Potter Jelly Beans.....I can't get myself to try them....although Todd's wife tried the dirt one and declared that it does taste like dirt.
I love jelly beans, but can't eat the Harry Potter ones, too scary:eek:

Mine, neither, Laurie . . .:sad2:

I was relieved to know I wasn't the only one too. It may be the TA, we have time though...I won't panic until Friday;)

We did Vote on it a long time ago and the Majority at that time wanted "Take What You Can , Give Nothing Back" So the Artwork was done for that one ... Sorry but as it stands the back will be as it has been ..

Here, the rules seem to be set by each town. One town near us allows grocery stores to sell alcohol, but they have to have a separate outside entrance for the alcohol section and you cannot ring up any groceries in that part of the store (and alcohol cannot enter the regular part of the store. My town only requires that the alcohol section can be closed off since there are certain times that the store can be open but cannot sell alcohol (ie before noon on Sunday). Two towns over is Wheaton, IL which was totally "dry" until 1985 - they still have fairly strict rules. (Wheaton is the home of Wheaton College and Billy Graham - and stangely enough, the Belushi brothers!)

*** We haven't received the DCL mailing either :sad2: ***

And if he loves hot dogs, you've got to go to Pink's.
http://www.pinkshollywood.com/pgz/greeting.htm
It is a legend in LA and you never know who you might end up in line with.

Thanks. Brendan has seena show on either travel channel or food network about Pink's and that is all he has talked about! I think if he could he would eat hot dogs bfast lunch and dinner!:lmao:

Chrissie

#1 take Monica's advice visit Pinks for a hot dog.

#2 I know we had a discussion (with Jonesing) about what other car rentals are in the area and will they be open on Sunday. I know that there is at least one other (I think that is Dollar at the DoubleTree) in one of the hotels. I am hopefully going down there the day the Magic is coming in (which will be a Sunday) and I will snoop around for car rental agencies.

I know the Enterprise will be open on the Sunday...just looking at what our options are!

It'll be 8 yrs ago, tomorrow, that I had my first heart surgery.

Glad everything has been successful! My dad had quadrouple bypass last January....Knock on wood (;) )he has been doing great...he was 71 at time of surgery.

Just passing through to glance at whats' up an' say 'ello.

I'll begin ta get ketchup'd later tonite... maybe if I get all my chores done,...

We go outta town fer one weekend an' all of a sudden it seems as if

I need a big red "S" on my shirt ta' git caught up!

Even so, gee ...since my last posting we've only got 33 pages and 500 posts...

It seems like a near pedestrian posting rate by some standards, eh?

I thought tday was going to be just an average day (ok with the kids trying to pull April Fool's jokes on me:rotfl2: ).But it wasn't!

So today one of my kids at my afterschool program-child happensto be on the autism spectrum-cleaned up an area with out being asked (huge deal for this guy!)So,because I love positive reinforcement,I made a big deal when mom came to pick him up. Put my arm around his shoulder and thanked him and said "you did such a great job! Thanks for helping out!".He then gave me a hug:hug: and a kiss on the cheek! (Big deal because he is not a touchy feely kid. I also knew it was huge because mom had to pick her jaw up off the ground!)

So with an event like that makes me feel as if I made a difference in at least one little guy's life!:cloud9:

Just wanted to share.
