My brother found DS. He's going to take him to his house for the night and try to figure out what's bothering him.

If it weren't for the GPS locator service on the phone, we would not have any idea where he was. His cell service just started offering it last week, thank goodness.

Thank Goodness your brother found him before it got dark. I would not want to go into the nite searching for a child or loved one.

May I ask what cellular provider you have? I am just curious - as obviously this was a really incredible convenience to have had for you. Well... I guess that was pretty understated... but you get my jist.

I hadn't been on all day and was doing a little ketchup tonight and your first post just stopped me in my tracks....made me sit back and realize what's really important. Here is a picture of our new conservatory which got finished last week. We are thrilled with it. Its 12C outside at the moment and double that in the shade in the conservatory. Loving it!

Don't be deceived by the blue sky and sun in the photo, that was taken yesterday morning at below freezing wind chill temperatures.

Yes, but it's so green!! We had lots of sun and temps in the 80's, but our area is so brown and dry....I finally noticed a few trees starting to really bud today.

Live from a tent!

Marshmallows have been toasted, snipes have been hunted, and it is lights out. Of course lights out really means scream from tent to tent for at least an hour.

Gotta love modern camping.....still connected

My oldest DS heads out Monday for a three-day field trip at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. He's not allowed to take any electronics, including his cell phone, as they're suppossed to be 'experiencing' the outdoors. The teachers told the kids that cell phone service isn't available anyway....not sure I really believe that one.

I am so glad Trevoy is in your brothers hands right now. I just started reading tonight and glad Trevoy was found. Thankgoodness for GPS!!!

Last weeks' Colonial Day at the Reagan Library was litely attended. And it was sort of a low key event. Nice just the same.

Todays' Earth Day events at the park behind the Main TO Library was rather more extensive then I expected - but in the end it was still a modest event. Our troop planted a tree with a little help from a few other troop members and even a few Daisys.

Hope alls well in your neck of the woods this weekend!

So - anyone up for a friendly sprint to 3000?

Shoot .... I could almost make it all the way there by myself if I were younger by a year an' as rascally as back then in 2007.... < wink >

You are gradually jumping the days ahead of themselves. In a few more days you will be posting, "So, did you all enjoy the EB cruise that we just returned from?"

Well just want to say I wanted to post I got my ressies last night, went forward to May 19th, went online and thought I will get them now and return, but all I can say is Scuba-Mickeys for three hours!

I just got back in from the Earth Day and shop-a-polooza at Macys. I think we hit 2 Macys and the Earth day thing was larger then I expected ... and our Brownies planted a HUGE tree... with a little help from the park staff.

Right now I've got Torchwood and Dr Who episodes recording on the DVR. I'm soooo tired from this day of runnning around. In a bit I;m gonna start watching the stuff I recorded today... so I'll be doin' the same as you Andrew.
