We come in Friday night but not planning on doing DL at all. Hope to meet a few of the "gang" at HoJo's though.

Yeah - You'll need those extra days to get used to the time difference. :hourglass

Very true, we leave here -Heathrow at 10am, arrive LAX 1PM your time, 11 hour flight, I hope to get into Disneyland that night, at least Fireworks and Fantasmic, so if we stay to say 9pm, thats 5am our time,

I will be looking for the kids to sleep on some of the flight to adjust, and I am looking to get into the parks for early entry on Thursday.:surfweb:

Holy Cow - that's a looooong day. All of you will be very excited so it may be easier to stay awake that night for Fantasmic and the Fireworks.

I wish we were going a day early so we could meet everyone.

We're on the same timings as you, but on the flight 2 hours later, so in the nicest possible way hope not to see you at the airport, because if we do it means at least one of us is delayed! Hoping to get in early Thursday to DL & will hit DCA Friday & chill out (hopeful of the tourist bus coming off) on Saturday.

Lauren is quite jealous seeing the photos of some of her pen pals enjoying Disney, but it just isn't practical! Her warm-up will have to be our trip to see PHD live at the Bristol Hippodrome!

Glad to see you're all having a great time - off to baton down the hatches as the wind is picking up again. This could be a sign that March really will be in l ike a Lion & out like a Lamb!

Maybe we can plan a breakfast meet for early Saturday or Sunday morning, somewhere close by, that all of us can get to even if we are not doing parks. I will be at Hojos too - we arrive Wed night.

Yes a long long day but to get over jet lag the best thnig is to go with USA time as soon as you get on the plane and stay with it.

Is there anything available at Mimi's? I've only been once and wasn't really paying that close attention as to whether there was a large room that we could commandeer. There is also Goofy's Kitchen (DLH) or Storyteller's (GCH) as well.

WOW! Thanks for posting pics of the meet! Looks like alot of fun was had!

So, I have been pretty faithful going to the gym...hopefully I can stay on this roll (and get rid of some rolls...lol)

Hey cheryl can you tell me more about your b&w Mickey kitchen? Older Mickey or more vintage??Just curious....

Can't believe tomorrow is the 5 month mark! Keeps getting closer!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!

Hasnt been nice here, rain rain and a bit more rain.

No offense - but please keep it to yourselves....:lmao: CA drivers ARE NOT KNOWN for driving in the rain. First tumbleweeds, now, the city in their oh, so infinite wisdom - shut the water off sometime and so when they restarted it -all the crud in the pipes has managed to clog up our filters. Of the 5 bathrooms in the house - only 2 are semi-working - this will be great - maybe its time to visit mom? :rotfl:

:yay: :yay: :yay: GREAT PICTURES!!! I'm so glad you guys had fun and what looked to be a totally AWESOME day!!!

It's so amazing to go to one of these Mini-Meets and then have that feeling of having known everyone forever. I'm glad it worked out that way for all of you.

So I'm guessing that our Captain over-took the POC boat?? pirate:

Stace - I'm sorry you weren't able to come but hopefully your on the way to recovery - now shape up :mic: - you hve 5 months to get well! :)

Same here...June 13,1976.

Wow - what branch Debi? Nov 17th 1984 for me. Ft. McClellan, AL then off to Ft Jackson, SC, then to Ft Benjamin Harrision, IN finally to land at Ft. Lewis, WA under the tutalage of our esteemed Stormin' Norman. (God that man frightened me! )

Ah well, we can't just pop over there either, it has to be planned, then the flights, the time, the cost, the school holidays etc, I am glad they are all enjoying themselves. Nice pictures.

My family will have a mini (mini) meet at Disneyland Paris in May, just us really so really mini, unless anyone fancies a trip over?

Andrew - as you know - this group does NOT NEED much encouragement. :rotfl2:

Of got my old computer back - let me see about downloading some pictures

PAM! Glad to see you posting!

Feeling MUCH better today. Tired, and still coughing up furballs...but better.

I had a nice surprise phone call from oldest DD....she'll be here from Ohio for my big birthday on Tuesday!!

Am hoping to be as near to 100% as I can (or may ever be) for her visit and the visit from some DIS friends for some Spring Training games this week. Supposed to be in the 80's...so I can sit in the sun and bake out the pneumonia.

I am not sure - I have never been to Mimi's or the area - maybe someone who knows the area can comment on this? I tend to think Sunday morning is best - Saturday morn a lot of us will be doing parks and with early entry that would make for a pretty early breakfast for those folks who aren't doing parks.
