Same guy who named your streets must have been out drinking with the guy who named our streets. The bank I used to work at was at the intersection of Ho and Hum Drives. :confused3

I wanna live there!! or maybe on the corner of dazed & confused.

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMM:confused:

Last year I signed up to work as a secret shopper.

I just received an email to secret shop a TANNING SALON. If I accept the shop, I MUST complete a tanning session.

At first I thought I'd be able to speak to a sales person and just purchase a few items, but nope, I have to get a tan. :lmao: :rotfl2:

Maybe Elliot Spitzer should have claimed he was really a secret shopper for that EMERALD CLUB ... or what ever it was called?

Great to see all of the boys -- it will remind me of our neighborhood which tends to be mostly boys. My kids will be happy. My 10 year old makes friends quite easily, although my 13 year old is a little shy so we'll definitely try to make it to the Fantasmic Meet! Are there more details somewhere about it?

We haven't really planned much more than that right now. Mark (Disneypilots) was going to work on meet information but he's been busy lately. I'm sure as we get closer there will be a lot more details taken care of.

Deanna,
My DS is 14, but also very short for his age. The teasing is starting to get to him:sad2: I was a bit worried about the teen club for him for this reason. It's good to know he'll have company. I'm expecting he'll hang out with the 13 year old crowd:cool2:

My 12 yr old just measured in at 5'6'' today. No telling how many more inches he'll gain before the cruise. He is often mistaken for being much older but he prefers to hang out with the younger crowd. Fine by me, kids grow up too fast around here.

OK,

... my little one just came home with Mom... and she's running 103.6. Well... i gues I shouldn't be surprised. We're scheduled to leave for San Diego Friday morning ta meet my BIL and his family - so I'm gonna take the little one in to see the Doc for hopefully a scrip. I dunn-o ifthey'll ask that I wait 3 days again til I see them - which would put us into Friday - and that's just no good since I don't wanna get my BILs' family sick. Plus hes' got a new one.

RATS! And my spouse is still running a temperature of a steady 100. At least shes' not being grumpy with me. AND, I think I had a low grade fever earlier today as I felt "pressure" in my head - which I recognize as either sinus or fever conditions. Alas, I have no measurements = and now I measure normal. Normal in temperature - otherwise I'm unconfirmed as normal. :surfweb:

OK... on the Jr K school I spoke with our P-school teacher - the same who's managed both our kids in P-School ... she began by suggesting Kalea was not ready for K-school... which I'm inclined to agree because of various factors I've observed steadily. SO when I explained the Junior-K program she agreed that this sounded perfect. Of course, we are aware the chance for her to enter 1st or regular K classes are pretty even - and that's OK with us. I siply like the bridge this represents - and it does not hurt that we'll save on tuition we otherwise would have paid for the P-school after september of this year. Now that savings more than pays for the TOAL and all related expenses!

We plan to get there early to meet up with you guys too!

We will be there....that's the plan, anyway.....

We will plan to join you!

We'll be there, we love Fantasmic.

Andy

WOO HOO :cool1:

Looks like we'll have a big group. I'm willing to camp out for a long time, especially since I travel to DL often. I want you first timers to experience as much of the park as you can. That's the whole reason why Julie and I planned to pop a squat in front of the Rivers of America for you all. We don't want you to spend all you time sitting on the ground.

I'm thinking of bringing a big tarp or two to help save some space. I haven't done it before, but I've seen others do it and people seem to respect the space up until about 30-45 minutes prior to show time.

Hey folks - wanted to bring your attention to a ticket deal offered by Costco. I told Roger in chat but forgot to tell everyone else. (Sorry pirates, but it's only available to select southern CA zip codes). It's 4 days, non hopper, for $139. A great deal since single day tickets are $66 and 3 day hoppers are $169 (advance purchase price).
Must be purchased by March 16th. All 4 days must be used by the same person, but do not have to be used until 9/30/08.

Andrew is 4'6":confused3 Same height as his sister who is 3 and 1/2 years younger. We've taken him to a specialist and so far the tests are normal. I'm hoping his growth spurt is just delayed.
He has his Dad's sarcastic sense of humor which sometimes gets him in trouble:rolleyes:

Well.. actually Disneyland just came out with 5 day hoppers for the price of 3 day hoppers ($169)... plus the 5 day hopper comes with an early admission ticket. If ya don't need 5 days worth - then you can still SELL the unused 2 days of the hoppper on ebay! Or I would be happy to buy one pair off of someone as I was hoping to help one of the P-school teachers get disney annual passes through the conversion of a hopper.

Gee, I feel like Chatty Kathy tonight. :rotfl2:

I've got a Dish Network technician working on my TVs right now, so no TV to distract me from DIS. I'm getting DISH and ATT Homezone installed. He started out at 11am and quickly realized he didn't have the proper receiver. He had to travel to the office (25 miles away) to get the reciever. Came back, installed the dish outside and replaced all the cables. Came inside to install the receivers and after an hour of trying to install the main receiver, discovered that it was defective. Had to drive back to the office to get another one, this time in commute traffic. Now at 6:45pm he's still waiting for the receiver to download all the stuff and complete it's install.

Seems to be my bad luck with electronics lately. My cell phone was not holding a charge on the battery. This particular phone is an insurance replacement from last year when the same thing happened. This time I'm still under warranty. ATT didn't want to replace the unit, so they sent me to Motorolla to replace the battery. Got the battery but the phone was still draining it. Back to ATT and got a replace phone. When it came it wouldn't recognize my SIM card. Just got my 2nd replacement today. So far it seems to be working. The true test will be when I recharge the battery tomorrow (trying to give it time to drain before I recharge). I could have avoided all this if I had just renewed my contract and gotten a new phone, but I refused to recommit when they keep giving me defective phones!

Yes, but those have to be used by early May. These tickets are good until Sept.

By the way, I'm still contemplating whether I'm going to upgrade to APs or not this time. If not, I'll have 2 tickets with 2 days left on them. I'll let you know.

Aw, poor guy, that is quite small for a 14 yr old.
