Now THERE is a woman that I want to sit with! When life gives you lemons - you make lemonade!!!!!! :rotfl:

Or Lemon Merangue Pie...

Sorry to hear of all those who are sick - Get Better Soon!

Crash, I hope the Dr. has something useful to say besides, "yep, she's sure sick." I hate it when they do that.

Can't help you choose. But just want to warn you about the Disney Store tickets. It is absolutely imparative that you get 2 receipts from them. One will be for the cost of the tickets, the other will be for the activation of the tickets. When I went down last May, my APs had expired, so I got hoppers from the Disney Store. I doubled checked before I left the store, they said I had all I needed. Got to the park and couldn't get in. Went to Guest Services with my receipt from the store. They wouldn't do anything about it, if I wanted in the park I had to buy new tickets. Aparently the Disney Store didn't activate the tickets and my receipt from payment didn't prove anything. It could have been a receipt for some other set of plastic cards, not necessarily the cards I had in my hand. Had to sort it out when I got back home. But even then, the Disney Store said that they only give 1 receipt. What a mess!

Thanks for the heads-up as well. I think I would be furious after spending $750 on 3-day park hoppers for the five of us. Has anyone used any of the ticket brokers and if so, what are your experiences with DL tickets?

I am glad its just tendonitus and I feel like I can live with slowing down a bit. He did say I may be able to walk the 10k that I was training so hard for. Running it is out of the question. When I started running 2 years ago, I realized how much I enjoyed it, I love the solitude of it. It was the only ME time I could get without kids, husband, phone, etc. One of my goals was to complete a half marathon at age 40, now it may have to wait unitil I am 41 but I am determined to do it! I am glad I don't have to give up running but I do feel like I need to find something else to give me that physical training that i need.

Thanks for all your kind words............can't wait to meet you guys in August. I was reading the pirate profiles on the website this weekend - we still need to do ours. I think your family is right down the hall from our family - we are in stateroom 6548. We are flying into LA on the 13th and staying at Hojos until we leave on the 17th. My DS will turn 13 on August 14 and DD will be 9 - I think our kids are close in age. Looking forward to meeting you guys!

Yes, we are just down the hall in 6524 and 6526. With the five of us, we had to either get two Cat 8 rooms or a single Cat 4 for a little more. I have to admit, we will enjoy having the extra space in the two Cat 8's for 15 days! Our DS also turns 13 this summer -- in June. We're nervous about putting him in the teen club as he's one of the oldest in his class and so generally hangs out with kids younger than himself. We also have a DS who will be close to 11 on the cruise and a 6 year old DS who's our handful. Although we're staying at HOJOs from the 13th to 17th, we will be driving down to Legoland one day as all three of our boys' favorite toys are legos. My middle child even said he would rather go to legoland than Disneyland :confused3 (I'm not sure he's really ours!:lmao:).

You mean the guy who can't get the packing tape dispenser to work HAS A GUN?

Yes, that's what I mean. I wouldn't mess with the post office. After all, that's where the term 'going postal' came from.

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMM:confused:

Last year I signed up to work as a secret shopper.

I just received an email to secret shop a TANNING SALON. If I accept the shop, I MUST complete a tanning session.

At first I thought I'd be able to speak to a sales person and just purchase a few items, but nope, I have to get a tan. :lmao: :rotfl2:

getawaytoday.com has an excellent reputation. I have not used them personally but I have friends who do frequently and they have never had a problem. Usually my friends book complete room and ticket packages, but tickets only are also available.

My DS will be 13 right after the cruise (Sep 6). So glad to see more boys in that age range. The majority of the kids seem to be girls.

good luck with that one :rotfl:

guess they don't really pay too much attention to the profiles when they select their shoppers
