'Twas the night before Easter
And all through the condo
I hunted the candy

Chocolate rabbits are nice,
Jelly beans may be yummy,
But there's only one treat

A creature of yellow
Pink, purple or blue
With little brown eyes
And a tiny beak too.

Oh dear, wherefore are you,
Wee marshmallow chick?
If we didn't buy you,
I'm gonna be sick.

No basket has value
If this treat it lacks,
Made of two kinds of sugar
And carnuba wax.

Potassium sorbate,
Dyes 6, 3, and 8
Sodium, protein
Total fat 0 g.

Your recipe secret
That's the way it must be-eth
If the market were flooded,
No one would have te-eth

The marshmallow bunnies
Make their debut, too.
But for the Peep purist,
Only chickens will do.

You must bite their heads off,
That's the best way to start.
Then work you way down
To the nethermost part.

Last year, on a challenge,
We did something brave
And popped a whole plateful
In the microwave.

First they just puffed up
Like Uncle Ben's rice,
Then collapsed into puddles
The sight was not nice.

So I went to the makers
Just Born, for a look
At their Internet Web site
And found a cookbook!

There were Peeps inside cupcakes
And Peeps on a stick.
Even Peeps dessert pizza-
Yo! Feed me some quick!

Still some mock this candy,
And that makes me weep
For what they are missing,
Oh, long live the Peep!

Oh my goodness.....inside cupcakes...I would have never thought of that! I am going to get a cavity just thinking about all of this sugar!

... Andrew ... you've got ta be KIDDING. I would never turn in a fellow Time Lord (apprentice?) like you! There are not many of us around since what's happened to Gallifrey when the Daleks were nearly exterminated and we lost the planet. Little did they know that in addition to the escaping ONE Time Lord (and at least 2 Time Lord apprentices), Dr Who fell through time with us to the present time line of Earth.

At any rate... a twist on a sonic screw driver should fix any issues you develope with your in box. For that matter ... have you tried a sonic screwdriver while viewing the entries of those malcontent lying heathans who challenged he good nature of your postings on that med Cruise thread? I did wander over to look over what all the hubbub was... and I must say it was humorous to see one of the last postings seemed to corner one of the offenders as a liar. He (or she) spoke of sailing on the SS France in the early 60s but his profile stated his date of birth was AFTER that sailing date with... 1963 or something like that. Maybe my understanding is wrong ... however I did click on that offending persons' profile and saw they apparnetly had REMOVED the incriminating details.

Obviously - to me - the offending party is a disingenius sort who apparently lurks in pursuit of TRULY raising a low-brow ruckus. Not like I .... who innocently lurk in quiet ambush awaiting opportunities to lend a potential chuckle or wink through my posting of a new supplemental image or similar verbage in accompanying another neighbors' posting. SO - although I am a trouble maker of sorts - I never embark on a disrespectful, devious or destructive path. Well... maybe I am sometimes a little devious... alas I do maintain a nice veneer of INNOCENCE... eh?

At any rate, your rable rousing failed to fill my in box - however you did suceed in goading a few otherwise innocent neighbors into clutterrin' my "in box". And thus, all you accomplished was aided me in identifying a few as potentially suspicious neighbors for the future. < wink >

At any rate, I have had a tense day as a Dad. My little one has not been taking her medication and I've been dunking her in warm water so as to not shiver her but control the fever. She detests the medications we've used and I waited patiently for the pediatricians' office to call us back for a tele-consult. It seems they need not see us in office until the 3rd day following onset. And they advised we just give her rest - heavy hydration - and control the fever so as to keep it in a low grade range as much as possible. Well... I ran out to try out some new delivery mechanisms for fever medications and found she detested two meds I tried but tolerates these tiny caplets. Ahhhh, finally I might have some small measure of relief if this medication works well.

I know - I am litterially a "know nothing Dad" in these matters.... especially when I'm "short circuiting" with a too hot daughter in need of immediate fever management. Anyways... she is much more managable now as she is having her first real meal of the day - aside from chicken noodle soup earlier... as now she's having seconds of lasagna and is clearly in better spirits.

At any rate, I hope - Andrew - ya didn't think "I" was being serious. Cuz I only have access to a limited number of Mickey bars on the ship - and thus am limited in my ability to bribe neighbors into following in pursuit of my antics.
