Hook and Peter in their final swordfight . . . my 10 year old can be seen just behind Peter, sitting down.
Based on the map, it looks like it is not too far of a walk from HoJo to Harbor Cove, so we may just go there. Any thoughts? TIA!
This warning has just come up on my computer so good night.

I'm trying to remmeber that area. I think that may be just a little shop at one of the hotels. If so, then there's not much selection. We'll try to check it out in a few weeks.
Thanks Stacey and Sara.I knew there would be
s out there that had been there. Here is the link to the The Office Restaurant on the beach. Another one I see on the map is the Mango Deck
Thank you for posting this, I love it!!!!Coral, I just got the horn as my ring tone. If you didn't get it yet, check out post #12 by Disney Dudette on this thread. The ringtone was free, the only cost was about $0.50 charged by my phone company for the data download.

So here is a margarita question: Aren't we supposed to not drink water in Mexico? And aren't margaritas mostly ice? And isn't ice just water, cold, and time?? How does this work?
Now I prefer my 'ritas on the rocks as opposed to slushy, but still ice is involved.
That's my kind of happy hour(s)!
Ice/water from established restaurants and hotels is fine. It's the mom and pop places and street vendors that you have to watch out for.
OK i swear Jet Blue is attempting to make me miss my plane....
We started out on an 8:20 am outgoing non-stop flight to CA.
Doh....now they combined the two non-stops in the am to 7:45 am. (I guess it could be worse. At least flight #'s are the same so my seats are still intact.)
Did anyone get the Passporter email today?
Jennifer has some great instructions to do a blog and post pictures- all from the IPhone. I followed the instructions and actually very easily managed to email myself a picture taken from my phone. I might actually use another feature besides the phone on my IPhone yet.
Don't have any songs on the IPod part, don't bother using the internet unless I am in a wi-fi spot and I have no idea what else the heck my phone can do. Just remembered I do use the camera part.
The PC support guys at work have the same phone and when I ask them a question they just roll their eyes. Apparantly I am not worthy in their eyes to have one.
I tried to ask them how I try to get the horn blasts from DCL as my ringtone. That resulted in a very long set on instructions which left me right after they said "wake up the phone".Beyond that...blah, blah, blah........

Waiting exitedly Julie!
Coral, think you could send me those instructions? This might be a good time to mention that it was only last weekthat I started using the safari on mine. Before - everytime I tried to get on - I couldn't do it - then all of a sudden it just started working. So hang on and stick with it. The knowledge and confidence will come with time. Heck -look at me - only took me about 7 months to learn!
We welcome your observations on ways in which we can improve our
pre-cruise experience. We are aware of the challenges some guests
experienced when trying to reserve shipboard services and shore
excursions online, and have taken steps to ensure a better experience
for our guests.
First and foremost, we understand that some guests with multiple
stateroom parties linked to their individual stateroom reservation
experienced situations where they were unable to log into the system.
Our system has always been designed to facilitate one individual
stateroom party booking at a time; however this may not have been
communicated clearly on the site. Therefore, we have revised our
website to include the following information.
Please note: For Guests in travel parties with 1 to 4 staterooms, if
another Guest in your stateroom or another stateroom linked to yours is
currently in My Cruise Plans, you will be unable to retrieve your
reservation below. Guests in travel parties with 5 or more staterooms
must retrieve each reservation separately to arrange activities in My
Cruise Plans.
We've found that on average, guests traveling in parties of 4 staterooms
or less typically will allow one individual within the group to make the
majority of the bookings for their entire party. The issue we
experienced stems from groups of 5 staterooms or more that are linked
together and everyone in the group is attempting to pre-reserve services
at the same time for their individual reservation. When this happens it
slows the entire website down and, at times, results in long wait times
or requires guest to start over.
As a solution for groups of 5 staterooms or more that are linked
together, we have modified the system so that each stateroom party can
pre-reserve their individual services at a time that is appropriate for
them (even at the same time). Guests that have 5 staterooms or more
that are linked together and wish to pre-reserve services for multiple
staterooms may do so using the "Retrieve Another Reservation" function.
I hope this information proves helpful. We appreciate your feedback and
will continue to monitor our guests' booking patterns and make future
adjustments as necessary. We look forward to your upcoming voyage.
Sincerely,
George

Julie, they look like they are having a great time. Your daughter makes a nice looking Capt Hook! My dd is playing a warm air mass in the "Weather Show" this Wed.
Don't ask him. We don't want to muddy the waters with logic!![]()
Apparently, according to DCL, the only people who have problems are those with multiple rooms reserved together (so watch out Crash, Escaping Moms, all you kids in another cabin ressies.....)
Not sure I believe/agree with the explanation....
MY FIRST SERIOUS POST - Not that you do not have enough to organize but....on our November 2005 cruise, we had a "kids meet event" for the kids mostly in school. Each kid brought postcards from thei state or local area. On the back of the postcard a greeting was writtten, many inlcuded the state birds, motto and other news. We had a map of the US (for this cruise it owuld need to be the world) and part of the fun was to see how many states could be colored in - many children had not met so many others from different parts of the states. This information was then used in a school report. Most folks went to the local Dollar stores for postcards. There were not as many Dissers and I participated (no kids) and my cards were generic views of Florida - flowers, fish, dolphins, views of the city etc. It was fun to see the little ones going around and exchanging post cards. Webistes list the various songs, mottos, mascots of the state and some folks printed these and pasted them to the back. A screen name was included for reference. Just a thought - it could be a kids scrap book - or authograph book, along with greetings from the kids friends they meet on the cruise. I still have my postcards somewhere.
OK BACK TO CHATTING NOW.
Those of you who have seen me around here know its not beneath me to "steal" from the WB thread, but this post had an interesting idea:
WHAT THE HECK?! Does a bell ring at your house or something???
Jay just came home with a whole case of Thin Mints, by the way. No Tagalongs.
I have a banana story!! But I'm not telling any more good stories til I get on the ship.
Or maybe someone (or more) on here send alerts.... LOL
Let me get this straight.... you would rather leave abanana
story to this crowds imagination for the next 5+ months.....
Brave woman!![]()

I really like that idea. A great "ice breaker" for the kids.
Are we going to plan a 1st day "meet and greet" for all of us? That would be a nice way to start the cruise getting to put names with faces.
I have only been on 1 DCL cruise so I do not know the logistics of having a gathering.
