Rain finally let up a bit so I will try to get out of the house. If I stay here any longer I may be compelled to clean. Not!!!

DOING THE DOCUMENT DANCE!!!!!!!

We got our docs for the March Mini-Meet at Disneyland!!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

And I had this great plan that went the way of the Charmin dress...or the brick.

My plan was to use our Magic Morning early entry into Fantasyland one morning...do what we could there, and then head toward Tomorrowland just before park opening so that we could be near the front of the line for the Nemo ride.
HA! Curses, foiled again. The park OPENS at 8:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday. I KNOW that none of us will be out of bed and ready to hit the park by 7:00 am. No way. I have teenagers who don't like to get up before noon. :sad2: :sad2:

We will be up and ready to go when you want ....

ROFLMBO!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Yeah...that's what he looks like under his tux...uh huh...right..... wake me up I'm dreaming
My dress appears to be made out of Charmin......

I'm pleased that you drew a chuckle from this bit of nonsense...

Cool. We'll be there, but for the first time, staying off property - the grand experiment. We'll 'try' and do early admission on Saturday, but.....

Yes, that picture was MADE for photoshopping . . . I can hardly wait to see who ends up being hugged familiarly by Stace over the next several months . . .

I am guessing it will be a Chippendales dancer....but the toilet with a brick would be interesting.

Go Crash....Go Crash....popcorn::

. . . or a bunny with a pancake on its head . . .

Oh the possibilities.....

[ed]...

Stace cuddled up with the machine gun groundhog.
Or the Dr. Who vacuum cleaner.

Well... as much as I'd like to stay, chat and play a bit I gotta go now.
The kids have an impromptu play date and it's near an hours' drive away.
So with that I bid one and all a pleasant, safe and wonderful saturday!

Well now...

That's interesting and qualifies as something I didn't know before...

... it's amazing what one learns while surfing the DIS....

< wink >

Now I really gotta skate....

So I can leave the sleeping teens and go with you?? Awesome!!

No probs. Back in the good old days of having to get up and get in line for the Fastasmic Dessert Buffer, my DW once got out of bed at 4am and was back in the room before breakfast - :cool1:

Andy

If we can get off the ship early enough (DH is the slowpoke here) we'd love to see the ceremony. Have to be a no show for Palo. Once we are planted on CC there is no going back til later.

Stace!!! We just knew he would do that :lmao:

We'd love to have you guys there! We figure the more the merrier. And obviously just show up in your attire for the day. We'll accept beach wear, pirate garb...heck, i guess we'd even let the guys in thongs, pumps, and tiaras show up. Imagine those wedding pictures!:scared1:

It may take years, but I'm going to get even with him someday.
He'll be watching his back the whole cruise....I'm going to stalk him like paparazzi......waiting, watching.....to catch him in an embarrassing act.....
:tiptoe: :tiptoe: :tiptoe:
Who am I kidding? This is the man who faked dumping his child overboard for a Shutters photo.......

Congrats Stace!!

Those 8am openings have been killing us as well. We have to leave home by 6:30AM :scared1: to come close to rope drop. Since we have not been in awhile I do plan on getting the girls (DW has to stay home with the puppy) up early and out the door. The only chance of a Nemo ride that day will be if it is raining/drizzling and the local crowds stay away. I am sure that we all can meet up in the morning though. :cool1:

We stayed off-property when just Jay and I went with another couple a few years ago. We were just across the street from the main entrance and it was basically just as close as being on property. But I LOVE having either a theme park view or DTD view at the Grand Californian. So wonderful to sit and look out at all the lights at night, and to see it all clean and shiny and quiet in the mornings.

Julie, my heart goes out to your friend. I know how hard it was to lose a child during birth. I can't imagine watching, and loving him for 2 months.

Yes, I also have a close family member who found out 5 months into her pregnancy that the baby had a terrible genetic disease, dealt with the news for the next four months, gave birth and he (Noah) died less than 24 hours later. Another close friend went in for a routine OB checkup at 8 months and they couldn't find the heartbeat -- he (Ari) was delivered stillborn. I say the names of these babies because I know how much it means to the parents to have them acknowledged as people rather than as objects. Anyone who is lucky enough to have healthy children, for all that they drive us up the wall often, have to remember what a blessing it is.

You know.....:rolleyes1 ....he may have never even thought of it without help....

He'd have even more fun if I posted the picture taken directly after that one. I bit Jay's ear. :lmao:

Please, PLEASE post that one, Stace -- you would be bringing so much joy to so many . . .

I can't say as I want it to be rainy or drizzly....but it won't stop me. Some of our best trips have been when the rain chased all the chickens away.

I'll try to get the kids up on Saturday morning, and if they won't, then I will definitely go with Todd or by myself. They have cell phones...they can call me when they get there.
