Geesh, all this talk about airfaire made me look at our ressies. Our flights to LAX are okay but coming home:scared1:! The flight I booked just about 2 weeks ago left MCO at 2 and arrived at SWF at 4:30, now it leaves MCO at 6:30 and arrives at SWF at 9:15! I just finished checking other airlines flying to SWF and ALB and nothing that works for us. I'm going to be calling Airtran tomorrow to see about getting a refund and then waiting until SWF opens up ressies in April.

We leave Tuesday Sept 2nd at 1pm non-stop to BOS on Jetblue. I've had pretty good luck with Jetblue & they don't tend to change their flts too often, but last time we did have a flt that was suppose to arrive at 10pm from MCO, but it was changed to arrive at 1am on a school nt. I had to change that one & we ended up waaaaaaay in the back of the plane. :sad2:

Why was Stace in the closet and why wont she come out ???? :cool1:

Glad you asked because I thought I missed something!

It looks like a lot of fun:goodvibes

DH wants to rent bikes as well and explore the island a bit more than we have in the past.

The Eco tour was cool, but I had trouble controlling the speed of the jet ski:confused: Also worried about my DD flying off my backseat:rolleyes1
I prefer leaving the driving to someone else;)

I also need to schedule in some "plop on a beach chair with a fruity drink and listen to music" time.

The bike riding can be fun, too -- the only thing I would suggest is to make sure that either all of you can endure at about the same distance and pace, or that all are willing to adapt to the pace of the slowest . . . the last time my three girls and I biked together there my youngest got tired and my middle was annoyed that we had to keep waiting for her. When we do it next I think just the middle and I will bike . . .

The relaxing time is the best, of course . . .

Exactly what I was wondering!:rotfl2:

OMG! DCL just advertised on ABC on AFV (Channel 7) for the Mexican Riveria ports here in LA. Mentioned giving some spots away but to call for availability - I think.

A local radio station - KOST 103.5 has advertised but that's a radio station. Could it be they are trying to drum up support for 2010????????

Inquiring minds want to know........

Hear that Tom - throw the West Coast a bone please????? :scratchin

If only I can survive for 5 more weeks............I'll be in Disney World !!!! OK, I just had to share that........sorry...........:confused3

Yeah yeah, rub it in a bit more!

Make sure that you ride at least one or two rides for me please! (Hint, Space Mountain and Test Track oughta do the trick:thumbsup2 !)

Laura - I would be SHOCKED if DCL didn't put one of the four ships in LA when all is said and done!

Are there any hills on CC ? If it is mostly flat, I think we'll be ok.

Yes, my last 2 visits to CC I rarely ventured from the beach:rolleyes:

Lorri, I had to change our return also. We originally had nonstop on Delta at 1 they changed it to 10:30 am. So now we are back around 1 but have to go to Cincinatti first. Good luck

Count me in as one who had air plans change on the way home too. We were originially scheduled nonstop from MCO to Richmond at 6:30pm it was the only Delta flight available at the time. Since then they switched that flight to leave even later so DH called and had us switched to an earlier flight that they had added but now we have to fly through Atlanta - we will get home earlier which is a good thing. I think by then we will ready to be home.

So are we Diane, so are we:sad2:. DH even went so far tonight as to make some suggestions tonight to make it seem less like cooking and more like eating out or getting take-out - AND he has been doing the dishes more nights than not over the last couple of weeks. Think I'm going to have to keep him around for a while longer:thumbsup2 .

Hi All,

We're joining this motely crew for another trip through the Canal.

We don't post much due to busy schedules (work can really interfere with Disney trip planning and execution). Besides, we'd never be able to keep with all you and all these posts! :rotfl: :rotfl:

We're currently a GTW cat 5 although that may change as we're also doing the 5 night Castaway Cay Double Dip right after the PC trip and have a cat 6 for that one. Need as many nights on the ship as possible. :rotfl2:

It will be myself, Bob, and Dale (DW) and our traveling companion Gordy "The World Traveler".

Thanks, Bob (aka Dread Pirate Barnacle Bob) pirate:

Greetings everyone! I'm new to the boards, as you will certainly know from my very plain post! But I wanted to say hello and get in on the fun. My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on the cruise. We'd love to get in on all the special events and would appreciate any advice you have.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

I guess I am 10 years up on you. We will be celebrating oour 40th.:dance3: :dance3:

Last year United had changed my departure from MCO from 2pm. to 9am. We were just docking at the port. That is why United always owes me vouchers.

Are you still planning on coming to Schuamburg this spring????

Hmph! Luckyyyyyyyyy! :sad2: J/k! I hope you have a blast! :cool1:

Our big adventure before next August might be the Jelly Belly factory in Wisconsin.:sad2: :sad2:
