Today she came in and told me that her friend is on the MAGIC. He asked for all of our sailing information & said he may make our trip extra "special". She couldn't remember what some of the characters he played were BUT she did remember he plays Jeremy in the first & last show they have on the ship(can't remember the name of it right now - disney dreams???) - I was so excited! Now maybe between now and then we will have been forgotten I am not sure but its really cool to know someone who knows someone who knows someone.................it would be even cooler if he did remember! Anyways, just thought i would share.

Wow - you do have a great (and understanding) friend. I am actually a little embarrassed to tell my friends that my DH and I are spending my 40th Bday at WDW sans kids, because I know that they will not understand. They will think that I am losing it. I can't wait to finally take part in the Food and Wine Festival. I can't wait to finally go to 'grown up' restaurants. I can't wait to go to Pleasure Island. I can't wait to .......

DH & I did this in 2004 for 4 nites. It was awesome!! He surprised me with the trip. Since we had no kids we resort hopped and stayed at 4 different resorts. Did the tour that takes you backstage at 3 of the parks. It was awesome. I can't wait to go back without them again!! You are going to have a blast!!!

It would be cool wouldn't it? I gave her our sailing date, our name and our cabin number so hopefully he will remember us...........but then again by then he may not be sailing - who knows?

You'll LOVE F&WF! We've been several years & it keeps getting better.

Grown up WDW is wonderful. I've gone for a week with 3 friends (including the bride & maid of honor) & DH and I made a few day trips by ourselves when we lived in FL.

I love my kids. I love sharing the joy of WDW with them and seeing through their ever changing eyes, but there is something special about an adult trip.

This was my first time quoting two people in the same post. I am just curious if there is an easier way. I pretended I was quoting the first person, but instead I copied the Quote portion into the clipboard. Next I was forced to exit this thread. Then I went in and quoted the second person and I pasted the first entry. Is this the only way?

I HATE when life gets in the way of DISing!! On the run all day today!


LOVE the dress with the big bow. NOT. I remember being at David's Bridal with a friend and her daughter (the bride) and another gal was trying on dresses. One had a huge bow like that....and my friend turned to me and whispered "Nice bow"....and it ended up becoming one of those catch-phrases for whenever we saw something dog-ugly.
