Trying to catch up, but I think it may be hopeless once again.
I had my final physical therapy session today.
I GRADUATED!!!

Oh, I really hate running!
Oh no.
This is my friend who bought DVC as a single person. Goes 2-3 times a year by herself or with friends. When DH gets the message and books Victoria and Albert's Chef's Table for my 40th b-day, this friend is there.
She understands.
Have you stayed at AKL before? Wonderful place to stay!!
Wow - you do have a great (and understanding) friend. I am actually a little embarrassed to tell my friends that my DH and I are spending my 40th Bday at WDW sans kids, because I know that they will not understand. They will think that I am losing it. I can't wait to finally take part in the Food and Wine Festival. I can't wait to finally go to 'grown up' restaurants. I can't wait to go to Pleasure Island. I can't wait to .......
Nope. We've never stayed at a deluxe resort before. I usually can't bring myself to pay the price since we can stay in just as big & nice a room at SOG for $125.
AKL is #1 on DH's list as far as a place to stay & the price is great, so I can't resist!
I got excited when I saw postings of room assignments and dining changes..nothing has changed on our ressie....![]()
Hello Chrissie - My dining change did not happen automatically. It seems that even though they say that they process "wait-listed" requests in the order that they were received, this is not the case. I called DCL myself last week and they would have switched me, but because I used a TA they said that I had to go through my TA. My TA called on Wednesday afternoon and she informed my yesterday morning that I had been switched. The best thing to do is to call them.

FYI - The Passporter is offering free shipping until the 18th on the 2008 Passporter. I ordered the deluxe refill pages w/ everything included it was around $17.50.
There is a 30% discount code of "friend" if you are not a previous customer.
In the preview download they said it would include information on Los Angeles and the Panama Canal.
Expected ship date- Mid-March.
Anyone receive any room assignments lately or are you still on a GTY?
Had a thought last nightWhat other ships will be in port while we are visiting. I know that we all think 1) we are the only ones on the Magic 2) we will be the only ship in port the days we are visiting. So here is what I found.
Date....Port....................Magic....................Other Ship
8/17....Los Angeles...........5pm......................Vision of the Seas 5pm
8/19....Cabo San Lucas.....9am-4pm................Vision of the Seas 10:30am-6pm
8/20....Puerto Vallarta.......9:30am-11:30pm.....Carnival Pride 8am-10pm
8/22....Acapulco...............6:30am-1pm...........None
8/26....Cartagena.............9:30am-5:30pm.......None
8/28....Aruba...................7am-11:30pm..........None
9/1......Port Canaveral.......7:35am..................Sovereign of Seas
Vision of the Seas 2435 passengers
Carnival Pride 2667 passengers
At San Pedro there will be 2 separate terminals next to each other but this still means 5000 passengers boarding in this area. Our first two stops will be crowded as well with 5000 passengers disembarking about the same time. Good thing we got those zipline ressies already.

I had my final physical therapy session today.
Every formal I owned in HS had a butt bow! I hate them, but it was required in the 1980's. I even had a few of them 'taken in'. I was skinny in HS, like double digits skinny, & most of the butt bows were actually visible from the front - like my butt had wings.
Oh, the butt bow.
Hi everyone.......just wanted to stop in and say hi and share with you guys. I haven't been on here much lately. After long days with special ed preschoolers and then coming home to my kids and family, I am too pooped to even think about staring at the computer screen.
ANYWAYS.........The physical therapist who works with some of my students has a student teacher working with her right now. Something was mentioned about DCL and the student teacher perked up and said "I have a friend who is in some of the shows for DCL but she wasn't sure what ship SO.............I told her she HAD to find out. A few weeks had gone by..I had forgotten aall about it.
Today she came in and told me that her friend is on the MAGIC. He asked for all of our sailing information & said he may make our trip extra "special". She couldn't remember what some of the characters he played were BUT she did remember he plays Jeremy in the first & last show they have on the ship(can't remember the name of it right now - disney dreams???) - I was so excited! Now maybe between now and then we will have been forgotten I am not sure but its really cool to know someone who knows someone who knows someone.................it would be even cooler if he did remember! Anyways, just thought i would share.
Have a great weekend everyone - maybe I will try and make it to chat.
