Boy, I can second that recommendation.

Last year when my Dad was diagnosed and losing him - I would have loved someone just showing up and doing stuff. Eg. Just deal with the kids, laundry and meals. When you are going thru something like what your friend is going through - you just can't think properly. The littlest amount of help on your part will be a huge amount of help on your friends part. Thinking of you today.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. My DD took care of some of my bills DH neglected before his operation. What a kid!!!! Now when he was home by himself, I made sure food was in his little fridge so he didn't have to navigate the stairs, but yes someone bringing meals would've been super at that time.

I passed my Top 200 Drugs test today!!!

It was actually on over 250 drugs, and we had to know what they were used for, starting, typical, and maximum doses, side effects, and interactions. It was pretty stressful, because we need to pass it to be allowed to go on our clinical rotations. So that's one more hurdle over, and that much closer to finishing!

:yay: :yay: :yay:

Looks pretty, Tina!!

Been on the run all day today. Time to sit for a while. Need to try to figure out how the new TV works. Never thought I'd own a tv that needed anything other than "turning on". :sad2:

When I was at Moms last week, she decided she needed a new set. Frankly the set she has bites. Orange faces, blurry etc.
So we bought her a new 26" lcd with a DVD player. (she couldn't figure out the one I got her years ago) It is being delivered tomorrow and the Comcast guy will have to explain all the good stuff when he brings the box on Sat.
They all are scared they will not have TV next year. I will prob drive out next week to see how she is doing with it. Her soft cast came off Tuesday and she is now trying to exercise her hand which is still swollen. Her biggest issue is the non driving til it is up to par. But she has great friends who drive her everywhere so she can keep shopping.:lmao:

You know it's funny- almost the entire year the weather in Orlando is the same as in Dallas. Makes it easier to pack for WDW trips. :)
Hope your DH's MRI goes well and $ in towards the TOAL is always a good thing. :thumbsup2

Too bad you didn't extend that cold war :sad2: until after this cruise . . .

She didn't come to our wedding either.

In all seriousness, we get on a lot better now than we used to and she has "calmed"-down with age.

It doesn't sound as though it was possible to get on any worse . . . alright, enough of this depressing conversation! It's Valentine's day, people! Get out there and love somebody!

Awwww cute :)

Tina, I'm going away for a bit . . . when I come back I expect to see your post as number 1000 . . . not that we are doing pirate runs, Todd wouldn't approve . . . but I hope to see you get that totally insignificant post . . .:lovestruc :lovestruc

Happy Valentines Day Everyone! I just received a great valentines present. I found out that I am no longer WLE. We are officially assigned to the Captains Dining. Last year we had late dining and my kids were ready to fall asleep at the table.
