Does anyone have the map of Liquor stores near DL (and phone numbers)? The link on the website doesn't work because I don't have access to the first thread. Thanks!

I had this saved...

No. I will never eat broccoli. If aliens came down and said, eat this sprig or broccoli and we won't destroy your planet, I would say "Sorry, Earth". I can't stand the taste or the smell of the stuff.

With apologies to Dr. Seuss:

Do you like green broccoli?
I do not it, don't you see?
I do not like green broccoli.

Way too much time.......

A little of both. There's a lot of factors leading me to believe it's going to be busy.
DL really hasn't slowed down much for their slow seasons in the last few years. And Spring breaks will have already started. Many CA schools have the week before Easter, so technically starting on Monday. But many folks will try extend their break and sneak in early on Friday. Also, based on hotel occupancy, it looks like it is going to be a heavy weekend. And DL has extended hours, the first week in March they are closing at 9pm, but the week leading up to our arrival, the park is open until 11pm and then midnight the week after. They extend the hours when they expect to be busy.

We may use Plan B on Saturday and Sunday. Hit California Adventure early, swim or take a nap in the afternoon, and then plan on staying at Disneyland until closing. After it gets dark, at least we usually lose the "little kid" crowd.

Sure, I'll call Disney right now and see if they can switch us from a 2 to a 4 table.

****ok just got off the phone, we're all set for 11am at Goofy's. We'll see you there.

By the way, I hope you already know that the Sat is a blocked day for the Deluxe pass. Did you know you will have to buy the blackout tickets?

Thanks!! - That will be fun. Yeah - we know it's blocked - but we buy them at a discount.
Matt's going to DL on Monday 3/10 after the dentist - as a reward - he has major fears of dentists. It'll be our DL week!!

BTW - the school district here has Spring Break the week of April 7th

Interesting reading that was forwarded to me:

Easter is early this year. Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify Passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar. Based on the above, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but that is pretty rare.

Here's the interesting info. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here are the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones who were around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year

Interesting obeservation!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Does it look better now?

It always looks fine to me, I edited it down more.

I still have to scroll a little but I have a 3 year old computer without a flat screen. You are worth the extra time to scroll.:thumbsup2

Deanna,
Remember that the supermarkets here also carry a Large selection of alcohol & wine - even the pharamacy chains do!!

Just had to share my parental pride with you all. Lauren was in the school gymnastics competition today & won 2 golds & 1 bronze, competing with girls from her year and the year above at school:thumbsup2 . Unfortunately she can't go on to represent the school next week as she has been selected to join the aerobics squad which is considered competitive gymnastics, so makes in ineligible!:confused3

Interesting facts on Easter & make our school terms wierd to say the least. They get Good Friday & Easter Monday off, then go back to school for a couple of weeks before getting a 2 week break w/c 7 April!

I thought it had been this early when I was young, but I guess not. Interesting trivia. Thanks.

Thank you for that, not sure what else to do?

Congrats and yes School holidays are very strange this year, if I had known in advance I would have gone to Florida at April.

Andrew the school holidays in our district are weird here too. DD has the week before Easter this year, usually the district is out starting Good Friday and the whole week after. Than for the 1st time the entire district is off from April 28-May 2. DD's school was the only one in the district with an alternative calendar. We use to get a week off in October & February in addition to Christmas and Easter. We go longer too. Our last day this year is June 19th.

Interesting.

I would prefer our schools to cut down summer a little, have two weeks instead of one at October and May, and cut February half term, then with Christmas and Easter, there will be about five slots for families to have a two week holiday, and you could go to Florida etc when weather is better, rather than humid in summer.

I think it depends on the monitor. On my old one I had the same problem. With my flatscreen I hardly have to scroll over. But! Andrews are the widest.

He is on a diet so perhaps by the time of the cruise, his won't be the widest any more . . .

Does it look better now?

Now you look a little . . . smaller than normal . . . REALLY.

Congrats to Lauren!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I re edited it, it always looks ok to me, maybe as I am on a wide-screen laptop, possible older PC's show condensed?

It always looked fine to me before, but now it doesn't run all the way to the edge of your post . . . I'm on a quite new Macbook. But it is fine -- stop worrying about it!

 ..thanks, mismce...for the info., ok, i just need to get our
resveration number..froim my lil'miss. :thumbsup2

..see?....i lean from pat experiences..not to meddle..with
my miss flamer's....projections'....as she has a looooong memory,

 ..& actually, i have no "hands on"..expirences in this
area..truly along for the ride....* interesting, it was after, our
sons birth..that she started dreamin..of a disney cruise [80's],
...and i readlily agreed..cos..i really never thought...., in 1998..
she got us onto the wonder....& i...kept..complaining..all year.
i'm still getting raw feedback...:rolleyes1

ok?..i better make a lil'correction..that's sorta a high expectation....
as i am more impulsive then a deep thinker...my reflections..are
"manly" hiney sight..." ". my work places this demand..

on us..to evulate..the "causes & effects"..producing desirable vs
negative outcomes..sooo one day., it it me..hey this stuff can
increase..my chances..for desirable outcomes. it is a fact..the
#1 cause for our arguments..have been miscommunications,
thinking in 2 differnt directions. for goodness sakes...by prsenting
other's observations..related..to improving negative outcome....
look how simple/easy...things that could haveamde a difference.
now if we can get others..just to participate....around us, then
the rsults..can be sooo much positive..for all of us. thinking, its
a fun sport! & i like doing fun things... :wizard:

My Megan would LOVE to tag along (and she loves the cookies!) with us....but the name does say "Escaping MOMS". So unless there's something she's not telling me, she doesn't qualify.

I'm "Mommy" to three dogs, I still think this should qualify me. I promise I'll behave! (most of the time)

Yes it all stops before the EDIT and QUOTE buttons now.

LOL. Not for me. I see it going all the way to the end now.

Sorry, didn't mean to start such a controversy about it. Just made an observation. Sounds like everyone sees it a little bit differently.

OK I'm sure you all got yours but just wanted to post these images in case anyone misses out on the Staples clearance.

Cool huh? Love my new point and shoot!

OK - ignore the blurry - focus on the rugsack portion and the last shot? Wanted to show you that my size 8 shoe was taller than the folded cooler.

Like this one! Have to go check out our local Sams!!!
