Staying offsite Thurs night, checking into DLH Friday morning. Not sure if we'll hit the parks early or not, but we will be having brunch at Goofy's at 11. We'll try to meet up after then.

Romance package is not offered on any cruise over 10 days!!
As far as I am aware not waitlist but ask around pay up time 90 days

Now on the old 2005 reo thread there was a lot of talk of bucking the system, booking REAS, than cancelling, in thoose days DCL didnt not have safeguards you would get to reserve at 105 days but could cancel without loss, things have changed.

Now whilst I remember all this banter, I cant remember anyone actually booking it, so maybe it wasnt released.

Julie, are you asking if 'the world moved for me in bed last night'? Well it might have but as the Earthquake was about 200 miles north of us, it wasnt that!

The damage is over a wide area you are correct form south Scotland to Didcot, in the south, poor Didcot,

What's wrong with Didcot? That's only down the road from me - altho' I only remember it for the large chimneys at the power ststion & there is a railway museum thing there where Thomas the Tank Engine makes occassional appearances.

I have a question for the Disneyland experts out there.

We're looking at getting 5 day Hopper tickets for August. I see that right now they have a 5 day for the price of a 3 day, but that it's only good through April 24th.

Do you think that they'll run any other promotion like that for August?

My guess is probably not since summer is high season, but I figured I'd ask your opinions.

Thanks!

No sorry, the last few years, they've run the 5 for 3 promo, but it always ends in April. I don't think there's been anything for the summer months. Although I do remember a special deal on 2 day hoppers (saved about $20) when purchased by an AP holder.

Thanks, Mike!

That is strange, Monica . . . I also have my taskbar at the bottom, but I did look back at the old posts and Andrew's are the same size as everyone else's on my screen. Cue the Twilight zone music here . . .

Monica you are not crazy! I have wide screen monitors and Andrew's always go off the page. Maybe it is a California thing.

I have strunk my Repo banner does that help?

Nope. :confused3

Mike, all of us locals have annual passes. Agree with Monica ask on the DL board.

We will be getting there between 8-8:30 Saturday morning. I will let you two call me. I don't want to wake anyone up. :)

I wish I was able to go.... :sad2: :sad2: I'm still trying to figure out a way to do it.

Penny

Penny if you do find a way of getting down, PM me before 3/12 so I can add you into the dinner reservations at Blue Bayou. More the merrier.

Drive down early Sat morning, join us for dinner and drive home Sunday. I've done turn around trips like that before. Sometimes you just have to get your DL fix in. :rotfl:

Well.....crazy is debatable....:rotfl: but good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this

I'm going to TRY to get up extra early for the early entry. This will be the first time we've been able to get it since we've always had APs and stayed offsite.

I sooo agree with you. My 4 yo asks about every other day if we are going to Disneyland today.

Good idea Paula. Thanks

This is from Mouseavers
Using Walt Disney World Tickets at Disneyland

Interesting, unpublished fact: you can use any unexpired, leftover days on a Walt Disney World ticket at Disneyland or DCA! Present the Disney World ticket at the gate on arrival -- they will take it somewhere, deduct a day from it, and give you a one-day Disneyland Park Hopper ticket. You can repeat this day by day until the Disney World ticket is used up. They will not give you a multi-day ticket all at once, even if you have multiple days left on your Disney World ticket. Also, MouseSavers.com reader Danny P notes that any Disneyland ticket obtained from exchanging a Walt Disney World ticket must be used on the same day it was exchanged.

This policy has been in effect for at least 5 years, and the information was last reconfirmed by a MouseSavers.com reader as of December 2007.

Disneyland tickets are NOT accepted at Walt Disney World, and Annual Passes are only good at the park where they were purchased (WDW Annual Passes are NOT good at Disneyland, and vice versa).

Wish they would use a waterpark option, now that would be a deal.:goodvibes

Ok, part of the reason is that I have my Taskbar on the right side of my screen. I think most folks have theirs on the bottom.

But I moved my Taskbar and took a screen shot. With my Taskbar on the bottom, I don't have to scroll to read all of the post, but Andrew's is still larger than the others. Julie's post is regular size, but Andrew's post right below goes farther to the right. Notice the blue bar next to Julie's? All other posts are the same size as Julie's.

No big deal. For some reason I've been noticing little details today. :confused3

It's not just Monica. Andrew's posts are showing the same way for me - monorail going off the screen. My task bar is at the top.

You have to set the example for the rest of us  ones besides - Megan won't be on here and NO ONE HERE (:lmao: ) will take any video footage of you - I promise :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 -

That's right Jim won't be with us to tape you participating in the Newlywed Game like he did last time. Your responses were "priceless". I know none of the other Escaping Moms are as mean as my husband taking blackmail video. I only take video of Lisa at her Gymnastic Meets and lately I have been begging Matt (DS) to do that for me.

I'm going to be sorry I read THIS first thing this morning!
I hope it doesn't set the tone for my entire day.
Not even going to start in on how mad that makes me. They charge more than Southwest, and have PLENTY of surcharges and taxes. They limit our carry-ons...and now THIS??

Okay....B R E A T H E .............

So, does this mean if I booked on US Air prior to the Feb date I can bring a second bag without paying extra? :confused3

Thats how I read it, but I would go to their website (now) and print it out, in case you can't find it later, bring it with you to airport and be prepared to argue if they try to charge you.

Not sure whether this will stick, but when AA recently tried a fuel surcharge, no one else followed, so they dropped it. Hopefully this will go same way
