Sssshhhh! DD would want that one! Besides it's our duty as parents to embarass our kids.
Oh yeah:woohoo: It's payback for all those screaming tantrums in JC Penneys

So, I get home from work tonight to find DS10 "forgot" he had a project due tomorrow on the life of Marco Polo, complete with the need to dress up like the historical figure. I think the Harry Potter robe looks exactly like what Marco Polo would have worn. Don't you? aye, yie, yie.
Works for me:thumbsup2
I had to shoot off an email this morning to DS's science teacher informing her we couldn't find his notebook:guilty: Luckily she found it in her classroom (no name on it:rolleyes:)

I'd send him to school tomorrow with swim goggles.

MARCO!

Ouch:headache: I hit my head on the side of the pool the last time I played that:headache:

I just heard on the news that there was a "moderate" earthquake north of London. No word of damage as of yet. Hope all are friends across the pond are okay!

Hi all ... Can I ask a hush hush question. I know all of you are planning a bus from Disneyland to the Port, but I was wondering if any of you California folks might recommend a Limo service for the trip. August 17 is my daughter's 18th birthday, and I thought it would be cool to take a limo for the trip. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank in advance. Also, have never booked a limo before, how far in advance do you need to book it?

What a wonderful surprise!

I know that Stacey had posted info previously about a limo service that she is using but I don't remember the name. You could pm her (justmestace) and I'm sure that she would help you out. Also, Tom may have already added this to the website.

Hello there,

Two quick questions.

1. DH is telling me the Romance Package is not available on 14 day cruises. Can anyone confirm?

2. There is no "wait" list for cabin upgrades.

All thoughts welcome.

We did the Romance Package on the May 2005 repo.. and were able to book palo's etc before everyone else..

I am waiting to hear that a kid wants their parent to sign a contract not to embarass them on the cruise!
Chrissie

Heck, I'm trying to bribe dd with a brand new laptop of her own to stay home!!!

They're in the mail to the Captn' for the DL meet in a few weeks. I ask that he then forward to the folks in Chicago for the meet there. And so on.
I'm sending ALL the samples - even the black with the white outline so that folks can get an idea on size and quality.
Gotta run! :rockband:

At least the placement looks a little better on those.... I know we discussed having the option of smaller front design on left chest area.

is today going any better ?

:headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: For many reasons.... If i survive tomorrow...i'll fill you guys in.

Precisely why they probably won't be offering it...... If everyone requested think of the nightmare to booking.

This is a drive by posting. I'm off to a Billy Joel concert tonight, and travelling for work the rest of the week. Might have a chance to do a little catch up Thursday night.

-------------------------------------------------

The new sample is here!!

Here are pictures of the black t-**** with the black outline. This is a 2XL, thus the need to wear a sweatshirt underneath for the modeling pictures.

Here's the front:

Can't wait to see them in 2-1/2 weeks. :cool1: Thanks again for all of your work, they look great. :thumbsup2

When is it going to be spring? We were supposed to have nothing but rain today and guess what we got? SNOW! Over 5 inches of the stupid carp here at home, 8 inches at work. I made my poor DH come to the office and bring me home and had to listen to him lecture me about how my next vehicle WILL BE a 4 wheel drive something - I wanted the all-wheel drive version of my car, not my fault he fell for the pitch about stabilization and rear wheel drive.
Our daffodils came up a couple of weeks ago and it is suppose to be in the 80's tomorrow. I will send this weather your way Lorri.

I am sorry.........I might of misunderstood........ they are not offering the Romance package on the repo cruise????????????

I didn't get that either:)

Sorry - lost Monica's quote. I just meant that its sad - partly my fault - but you all will hear me doing this now: :mic: every few days for the amount of adults doing this - although I can understand what with all the uncertainty of whether people will be cruising or not.

Anyway, things are starting to look up now!

You can google this or try yahoo yellow pages and probably get a bunch of replies. However, I was going to research this exact thing a little for my group - and Andrew was on my list for updating as he asked this ame question. I'll copy you ... OK? And this is left as an open reply as I'll copy anyone else whos' interested... or rather - I might post it openly here.

However, let me warn you ... out west we have an eclectic variety of limo services:

..tratitors, i like that..its soooo pirate: , oh, i don't know gerffic's
preferences..but she indicated...teens/stinky or not...they have
built up immunity..from ..over exposure... , true, my
boys...make me feel like we get our $$$ worth..by packin the
food away!

.. speakin of eating..& possible disorders...justm.'s son eating
scorpions.....ahhhh, that's comfort foods..to me. & i kno
exaclty..waht it feels like..calling posion control..after our lil'
 ...ate....that robin egg...wow..i haven't any eggs since...
even chocolates.

rules? pretty strong stuff....maybe we should make them wear
tees.."no pirating for booty"...sounded alot like my lil'sweetie.

dear..allshookup,
i read that postings..on the main site..sorta :confused3 & i could
be wrong..but..it was like a hint of posting a "vail warning"....
i thought you was more than gracious...& encouraging.

sorry, those enduring flight changes...we went thru some during
our recent christmas..trip..& why we went with delta...

....i 'm soooo sorry, pbager. :flower3: . our medical profession..let
you down..not the other way around! ...* our obstetrician..was
experienced and knew what he was doing. and true, everybody..
has their off days...but that's what made it soo alarming....blowing
off ...the dangers.."he knew"..being over the dates...& left us
with no "giver"...., i jus worked all night..& went in with my wife...
to begin ..introduction @ 9am...now all "this " happened around 8pm...
he was born 8:25 pm...all day..she hadn't progressed..so he was
increasing the dosage...however, what i discovered later...the
"nursery nurse"..had accidentally cut off the pit....so she was covering
up...which sorta gave..my wife a "bolus dosage"...that triggered
into this sudden labor. the dr., waiting all day...deccided..he could
sneaked home for a dinner..and be back ..since she hadn't progressed
all day....none of this we knew @ the time.

* when we discussed about..having another baby...my wife, brought
this..up.."you can't expect..me ever go thru this again.". so while
i jus mentioned$$, wasn't 100% accurate. there was no way,
could..i ever...even protest....* :cool2: barbie..., we had 2 boys..
havinfg a girl..wasn't high on my wish list....& my wife..was still
to scare...after that awful experience...so she started collecting
barbies..& i had no problems..helping her...:yay: . [ even though
i got heck from...my buddies..who cared?...i wasn't living with them..
 ].

....i was up all night..all day....& didn't get to bed until 1am...the following
day....before...visiting my wife....i stopped and got her some flowers.
..now, you all heard..this story..before....;) . what is that noise,
honey?!.. .. and then the squeaking lil'bassinet wheels....all
of that is 100% accurate....boy!, [ i teased my wife ], sure feel
sorry...for whoever..has "that kid"! ..ok, plez note....how long i stayed
up?...ps, that :scared: nurse..back in the nursey..did informed..us...
"banned forever..from their nursery"...did i mentioned..we got an upgrade?
free "private room"....:lmao:

..ok, we was interacting ..why..he was screaming his not -so lil'- noggin
off...and my wife's tray..had rice...we mixed a lil'with milk..he gobbled
it down..and :cloud9:

..i was really concern about head injuries...but after coming home,
and "catching"..him tearing the craddle apart...i felt we were
lucky. [ so much saving it ..for a keepsake....]

I got this email from US Air tonight.

Today, US Airways announced a change to our baggage policy. Beginning May 5, 2008, we'll charge $25 for a second checked bag. The new fee applies to travel on or after May 5 for tickets purchased on or after February 26, 2008.

We're making these changes to offset record fuel prices and rising airline related expenses. We simply must make changes to the way we do business to provide all of you with the high level of service that you've come to expect from US Airways. Also, we're doing all we can to keep fares low. With this policy change, we're able to give you the choice to avoid the fee and pack fewer items. With fewer bags to process, we save both money and fuel and can pass that savings on to you.

Dividend Miles Preferred members are exempt from the fee, and we're also waiving the fee for:

Confirmed First Class and Envoy passengers
Passengers with Star Alliance Silver or Gold status
Active military personnel in uniform and with ID
Unaccompanied minors
Passengers checking personal assistive devices
Need more details?
We've put together a list of questions and answers with policy details and other information. Or, you can take a look at our baggage policies.

Thank you for supporting US Airways. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you again soon.

this wedding has brought you a lot of luck....cake dives, dance lessons, hair removal.....you're going to be a different person by the time the wedding rolls around

Especially after she gets done sailing with us! :rotfl2:

That was the same night you were hanging from the chandelier, wasn't it:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And the Zena impersonation was born! :lmao:

 ..today in class..it was noted 96% americans believe in
god.

..that makes snese to me. :thumbsup2 . i believe..faith is created
by your feelings..in your heart.

..2 facts of reality...makes the feeling to me as strong as cement.

#1, the essential mechanism, making all~life forms possible....
..took organize thinking to create the functional parts.

#2., the fact that we do not only have life functions, but we are
also equipped with "back up systems"..in an effort to preserve
life..when our primary systems..are failing or tamper with. to me,
that is beyond imagination, of jus being by accident. instead,
careful planning.

..one of the most amazing thing i have seen from the medical field,
....when a mother~to~be..is having health issues ,where her newborn
is being threaten....development speeds up...pixiedust:

doing things right, truth to me...i had to learn things the hard way..
and iam still learning...but i do think...the medical field....has a
moral obligation..to :teacher: ...our country 's needs....so persons can
take an active role..in their care..and raised the bar..with greater
expectations. with i also act as preventative medicine.

* as for being critical..yes..i have no ego or image..or anything to
protect..but we are "seeing" too many lives...being destroyed by
drugs..rx. drugs. i don't want these drs. near me, my family or
my future grandkids...if i can help it.

mental health,,, :yay: ...for all the things disney..is promoting..especially
toward world peace..:hippie: , * when i see a charcter @ work..and
their hard work/dedication...i respect that. i beleive..it's an art form
producing some of my favorite memories.

* i can't not imagine a dcl cruise without the lil'ones. :earboy2:

true, i am corky type, ..it is my lil'sweetie...that is such a wonderful
person. to this day, i have..no idea..why she chose me..of course,i did
:worship: , ..when she look up. ps, that's why, i 'had" to try ..find
my lost diamond..in that crazy...rest stop... , you should saw
me a sweeping. ..i guess..the one lil'disappointment..was our first
date...& me giving her...that hugmogous hersley kisses...hint, hint..
she didn't get the hint.. ..for waht it's worth..but i can see
others ..here..being that stingy....too. names left out..to protect..
me.-[ i told you mom didn't raised no...fool]

speakin..of my dear mom...think hill cat!....:rolleyes1 she completed ..in
beauty contest..when she ...was 13. against 17-18yo.that sorta
explained...why my dad..had to brided..her father..with a bottle of whiskey.

:wizard:

dear justm.,,,, i hope your daughter's wedding..is everything prefect...
and with you in charge..it will be..:thumbsup2

for the swabbies & captains...did any you guys..had..a party before
your wedding day..jus wondering...& did anyone..had second thoughts
..@ the alter?...:upsidedow

i tell you something..else...my wife been buggin me in the 80's for a
dcl cruise...i agreed..never thinking they ever do it...so was there
something going around..that us guys weren't not aware...???

Hello!

I was asking some questions on the main disney cruise board thread and they refrered me to this thread.

I was just wondering if you all wouldn't mind helping me out with some questions my party and I have as time goes on?? It would be a huge help!

You all seem like a nice friendly bunch and I certainly wouldn't want to intreupt any of your discussion!

A little background about myself:

I'll be 28 this 2/29, yes a leap year baby. My wife and I will be on this cruise along with her entire immeadiate family and some of their friends as well. I may be new to these boards, but not to many others on the net. I regret not coming to this site earlier.

We are Disney nuts! I've been a DVC member since my junior year of college when I jumped in with pretty much my life savings! (just to give you an idea of how much we love all things mouse.)

We love to cruise, however, this is the first time we will be on a Disney ship. Which is basically why I'm seeking help from any past cruisers or those who have already made their plans.

Sorry for the interuption, and I thank you so much for any help.

Thanks!

:welcome: to the pirate:  - never mind about interupting - just jump in and swim. We are all a bunch of good people who will fall over ourselves trying to get you answers to your questions.

Not sure if your looking for exact dates on the formal nights only but the 2005 Repos - I was lucky enough to do both - they had 2 formal nights - the 1st one was the first sea day out - after CC and and then a semi-formal later in the week -also on a sea day within the first week. Starting the second week, same thing around - except for the 2nd week, my formal was a bit tighter than I originally thought! :rolleyes1
