But that would make an awesome wedding picture. Bet nobody else has one like that. How cool would it be to have Captain Jack walk Linda down the aisle?! Oh Todd....
It would be a walk to remember , thats for sure ..

I'll compromise and show the "jammin" shot. It looks like I'm trying to catch snowflakes with my mouth...

Dear lord, don't let her look back and see the one with the Thunder From Down Under guy!!
I saw that. And the Kangaroo. Hey Mom... who was REALLY in the pic with the Thunder guy, before YOU got Photoshopped in? Hmmm?
I don't even impose that on DH unless it's a special occassionI was referring to the thongs, pumps & tiaras!
I was going to say you'd better check with Todd but I see he answered - then I really thought about it!You'd better check with Linda! Umm.....she does know about this adDIStion of you yours right? I just got a mental image of her giving you the glaring eyes for this open invite!

You know.........he may have never even thought of it without help....
He'd have even more fun if I posted the picture taken directly after that one. I bit Jay's ear.![]()

Well... as much as I'd like to stay, chat and play a bit I gotta go now.
The kids have an impromptu play date and it's near an hours' drive away.
So with that I bid one and all a pleasant, safe and wonderful saturday!
Actually, Linda's the one who said it first. She follows all the posts, so she feels like she knows everybody too. We had a lot of fun at our first wedding, and want to for this vow renewal too!
Oh Oh!He put it into print! Mike - it doesn't take much encouragement with this group!
I forgot that she reads the board until I saw her look over from the laptop, and she said,"What do you mean..That's the camera I'm looking at?" She found my post about the Nikon d40. That's the first time she heard about that, even though she did say she would love a DSLR.
Oh well, probably best now you don't have to hide it someplace in the suitcase!
I was just downloading some pictures off the camera. DS 10 had a field trip to the aquarium, and he got some pretty good shots. I'll have to be sure to let him take a bunch on the TOAL. For some reason, this one really caught me eye. I think it's cool that the fish was looking right at him, and you can see the eyes bulging out on both sides.

I gave up trying to make my Mom behave years ago! She ever tell you guys about her Xena Warrior Princess impression?
I'm trying to have fun planning the wedding, it's a whole lot easier, when I just think about it being a big party, instead of a wedding!
Edited to add: Doesn't that remind anyone of the Don Knotts movie where he turned into a fish? Gosh - what was it called?
The Incredible Mr. Limpet

Nope - now I can't wai t- Spill Stace!
BTW, I love your outlook - about it being a big party - wish I'd of looked upon my wedding that way! Your so right! Party on!
Word of warnig - your not holding it at DL are you? Can you imagine - with this group - word will get out and you'll end up inviting just a few DIS friends......oh - like 500 or so!![]()
I think my Mom is already inviting every Dis'er within a 100 mile radius of the wedding! We're having it here, in Ohio, but someone who really really loves me got us a Honeymoon on The Magic, to the Mexican Riviera, with a stop in DL after!
The Xena thing, is Priceless. I should get it on video sometime.

Coral. sometimes when I want to find out what the kids may have downloaded I have done a search for files on that date. I couldn't tell you offhand how I used to find them but I did, and they were busted. Have you tried that??
This is true but if you saw pictures of DD when she was born you would ask "What is that?" She did not even look like a baby. When I 1st saw her I thought there was no way she could live as there was not enough even there to live. Good thing I was wrong.LG, I think for as advanced as our medical care is that it is very disturbing the amount of babies that don't make it. We assume that by keeping all our dr. appts and getting all the tests they give nowadays that things will go as planned. It is very sad that is not the case.![]()

Yes, I also have a close family member who found out 5 months into her pregnancy that the baby had a terrible genetic disease, dealt with the news for the next four months, gave birth and he (Noah) died less than 24 hours later. Another close friend went in for a routine OB checkup at 8 months and they couldn't find the heartbeat -- he (Ari) was delivered stillborn. I say the names of these babies because I know how much it means to the parents to have them acknowledged as people rather than as objects. Anyone who is lucky enough to have healthy children, for all that they drive us up the wall often, have to remember what a blessing it is.
We have friends who had a son born very prematurely. He put up a heck of a fight, but unfortunately passed away at the age of two months. It was hard for us to come up with words to express our sorrow, but Justin's Mom was so glad that we did. She said it acknowledged the fact that even though not many people met him (he was in the hospital the entire time), it still acknowledged that he was their son, a part of the family, and that he existed and mattered.
Well, I'd rather you imagine what it would look like, than for us to actually have to see it in person.![]()
