8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #2

OK...

I'm all caught up to this point (whew!) and now I have to run the girls to thier gymnastics classes. TOmorrow we have a Daddy & Daughter dance - and then we're doing Disneyland on Sunday. We had an acceptance for the spare ticket to DL from friends - who unfortunately had to withdraw. Now we have insufficient time to redirect - and coincidentially we found some friends were heading over to DL to buy thier annual passes on Sunday - so we're just gonna hang with them on Sunday. not sure what to do with the ticket now - maybe on sunday we'll try to scalp it or just give it away to someone going in and buying tickets.

OK... maybe I'll make it back in time from chat if we don't burn too much of the evenin' at JCP!

Obviously, when we moved to VA, we got a new home phone number. Well, it turns out that the phone company didn’t let the number go dormant for very long before re-assigning it to us – and the previous owner was apparently a deadbeat & international matchmaker!

Typical with Metro DC area...
I can beat that...... They gave us a number that was a fax line for some kind of import/export business...

People were faxing us at 4 in the morning... I finally googled the number and come to find out the guy was dead (thus the number change) People stopped calling after i told them he died (but he did...he really did)

Mine ends on 8/12/08 when we head to Disneyland. I need to build in a bigger buffer so they let me go on the zip line. I probably won't do too bad at DL, since we'll be walking, but once we get on the Magic, look out! Luckily, the zip line at PV is pretty early in the cruise.

We've heard that they are most likely going to be done by lottery, due to all the interest. It'll be interesting to see how it eventually works out. The Speed Skating Oval looks really cool - it is not far from my sister's and we drive by it usually on the way into town.

I can gain weight real fast

I gained 4 pounds one weekend (my b-day) lost nothing during the following week (though I tried) and then gained another 4 pounds the following weekend (my Uncle's b-day). 8 pounds in a week

Luckily I'm an observer at the PV zip line

I've lost about 8 pounds so far and he has lost about 12 (I think).

Coral as long as your kids are getting fruit, vegetables and milk they're fine
DS's doctor had to remind us to make sure he was getting enough milk because his vitamin D was low

Speaking of diets...DH & I went back to low-carbing it again. Not Atkins per say, but just cutting carbs. Well he lost about 19lbs & I lost about 3.
