Have to run down to the school to give Jared money for the dance tonight.

Will be back to announce the winner in 20 minutes!!

Hi Gang,
It's been a busy couple of days - and I'm about to leave for the airport to fly up to S.F.

CONGRATS!!! Debi - We must raise a toast to you on the TOAL!

J.R. - sorry to hear about your lousy Jan. - PD that everything just keeps getting better!!

Cheryl - I am so not a shopper - I used to bribe DD to shop for me!

M - wow! what a wonderful experience for DS and you. I've only looked at the WH - never even took a tour. Do they still have tours given the security issues today?

By the tiime I check back there will probably be a new thread!! Won't be in chat - again!!

Ciao!!

B-52's, Flock of Seagulls, Flash Dance, capezios, leg warmers, Boy George.

Except for Flock of Seagulls - all of these items have made recent appearances at our house. In fact, just yesterday I borrowed a nice pair or grey metallic diamond dust leg warmers for me to wear. Difference is now I wear them underneath. DD was putting them under her heel. Looks like its the in thing to do when its cold. Guess it has been about 20 years.

Oh no:scared1: here we go again. I have to read it on the board that your shopping again. Haven't we run out of money yet.

JR don't give her anymore encouragement.

John - your looking at it the wrong way, she just got done saving you over $750 Dollars. :worship: :worship: :worship: Cheryl, my hats off to you - DH is going to play poker again - I'm a poker widow this month but I got $500 to "help" tide me over being soooooooo lonely! :lmao: :lmao:

:ssst: No one tell him that I like him gone! Gonna invite mom to go. She just LOVES Penney's.

I have not been to the grocery store since Christmas and then it was only for Christmas dinner. We eat out almost every meal anyway.
I don't like to cook and DH isn't so crazy about it either.
Fortunately, he does pick up lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and the girls love munching on them. Otherwise they would never have grown over 2 foot.
Our only meal conversation is "Where do you want to eat?".
Now that my super busy time of work is done and I am back to working part-time, I guess I gotta go to the grocery store. :sad2:

OMG! It's my twice separated, long-lost, separated at birth twin sister who has many other 1/2 siblings in this world. Woman of the Non-Cooking Regime - UNITE! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are too funny. Can I sit on deck with you and talk about people we don't know?

Its better if we know them then we don't have to explain and waste precious time having to explain the nicknames! :rotfl2:

Total Saved Shopping today $801. 89.........I spent 47.38 with tax!!!

Looks like with all the money I have been saving John....I can afford to buy a lot more. I bought a $180 coat for $16.11 and another coat $190 for $16.97!!!:cheer2: :woohoo: :dance3: :yay:  :cool1: :lmao:

OMG Cheryl! Your are truly the bargain queen! :worship: :worship:

Do you think that when our DH's realize how much shopping is going to occur here they will try and keep us separated? :lmao:

:rotfl2:

:lmao:

Darn - I've created a monster. DD just called. She told me she was going beserek staying at home! :headache: She "felt" since soccer ended on Tuesday like a whole world has left her behind! Seems she has now joined the track team where she JUST paid for her track suit, warm-ups and fundraiser.

Guess what I'll be doing from here to May? Thank god for my May TOAL! I'll have 3 weeks to recoop from chauffer duties.

Looks like we will be on the new thread by tonight.:sad2: Going to the movies so hopefully will be on chat later.:woohoo: :woohoo:

We used to eat out quite a bit too:lmao:
But DH and I decided to try a special diet together and started this past January. He does all the cooking because our kitchen is small and I can't stand having him hovering over my shoulder:rolleyes1
He insists he likes to cook:confused3
I've lost about 8 pounds so far and he has lost about 12 (I think).

Coral as long as your kids are getting fruit, vegetables and milk they're fine:thumbsup2
DS's doctor had to remind us to make sure he was getting enough milk because his vitamin D was low:guilty:

HA!! I just got back from getting the girls hair cut and mine and since there was a grocery store next door I went in.
The girls fought almost the entire time trying to sneak things in the basket. :sad2: I swear I was so glad to get out of there but.... I did find some neat things. Apples, carrots, red bell pepers, cereal (gotta have that) and my very favorite........Girl Scout ice cream
Gawd I love that stuff. I got Samoas for me and the girls got Thin Mint. After we get back from dinner (of course, I did not buy "real" food at the store) I am having some ice cream!

Oh yeah- I also won a digital camera, an Am Ex gift card and a free day off at work today. All is good with the world!

Laura,

A bit easier when your spouse joins you:goodvibes

Of course, I have to remind him that my portions are suppose to be smaller than his:lmao:

And he just loses weight faster than I do:confused3
Which is why I don't keep track of how much he has lost too closely. It can be a bit frustrating when he's getting results and I'm not:headache:
