It's Monday. A whole new chance at a new week. Hope it's less crappified.
Wow was it difficult to get out of bed and come to work this morning.
It is amazing the sheer amount of work I have to do between now and when they've decided they don't need me anymore.![]()
Oh well. I have an interview today and one on Thursday. Still waiting to hear about the one last week. I think I'd love that job.
Regardless, this week will end on a happy note: I'll be slowly circling the World Showcase eating and drinking in just 96 short hours.

Ok, seeing as DCL didn't play the darn tune (not even once) during the TOAL, and nobody's put up a slideshow verison on smugmug........yet
Here it is.......DIS Pirates in the Panama Canal, Van Halen Edition, including a timelapse of the transit.
Crank up the speakers and clickey clickey:

PS Shame the song is about a car.
I have been looking forward to seeing this since talking to you in front of the ship through the second lock BUT I can't see anything but the opening picture.I was able to watch the JR video but can't open this one or the one Roger posted in the last couple days. PLEASE HELP!!!
TIA!
Hmm....after you click on it, do you see a download progress bar (gradually filling up with green), and the play/pause buttons?
You may just need to wait a few mins to let it download enough to start playing.
Andy
Nope...no bar...just a black box.
Has the Magic left the shipyards? I don't seem to see her anymore.
Hi M,
Good luck with the interviews! Maybe you'll end up with something you like more and with an easier commute![]()

Haven't been around much . . . too much going on in our community because of the flood.
There are over 5,000 people still displaced from their homes. Many are beginning to receive the word that their homes have been condemned and they will not be able to get into them.
We are still waiting on word that the president has accepted the request to be declared a federal disaster area. Some rumors say that an announcement can take place as early as tomorrow. We are all keeping our fingers crossed.
There will be people displaced for months before lives can get back to normal.
Well.....thruth be known, I did have to cut about 10 seconds out of the full length tune. There were at least 3 'Not family safe' words in the full version.
The camera is Canon SD870 IS (point & shoot). It was set to record one frame per second, the mount is a Bogen/Manfrotto

I mounted it halfway down the verandah glass - it stuck out maybe 12". I didn't use the stabilizer leg (shown in the pic above)
Steph or Chris may have a pic of the mount on canal day.
Andy
I can't wait to watch Billy hitting on Tina and Richard being used as the human puppet again. That was so funny. John - could you do that one first - pretty please.....
whoa, whoa, slow down on the posting Linda...![]()

Sorry, didn't mean to make you cry. I have some ideas for some other slideshows that will be a little more fun too.
Crying is fine as long it is crying from being so happy!!
PS I got 100% on my inservice presentation last week!
See............I knew you could do it!! The 100% exceeds my expectations.![]()

You had some great shots! I'm glad that you have a nice shot of Father Mike. We really enjoyed hanging out and talking with him, especially on the verandahs on Canal Day. The only picture I had of him was him leaning forward around the verandah divider.
I am so glad we got him to go
on the Diser bus with all of us.There was an ulterior
motive..........a safe excursion up the mountain.![]()

Hi Gang,
Thanks to everyone for the pics/ slide shows and all. It was soooooo much fun. I miss you guys alot.
Fr. Mike - so sorry about the situation for so many in your area. Definalely in my prayers
I'm feeling alot better - but can't seem to shake the cough.
If the rumors are true re the dates - I doubt we'll be able to sail on the WB repo.
Maybe bump the "dummy" cruise to 2011 for the new ship.
Good luck M on the job search - K & Moniica also!!
