Can I join too! We got 4.1 inches and they say there is more on the way Thurs night! So here is my dilemia I have 5 dozen tree shaped sugar cookies made for Kate's class. Was going to make another batch shaped like stockings for the kids to decorate Friday afternoon after the field trip. If it's bad and they call off school I'll be stuck with 10 doz cookies!

You could always mail them to me!!!


Right now I'm so sick of snow I don't even want to see a snow globe!

4.1 inches?? We got a foot and a half in 2 days! It took steve all day yesterday to get everything shoveled so we can get out hehe. Then we spend the rest of the day packing We're leaving today destined for WDW tomorrow!! Steve's getting off much earlier than normal since they're saying another storm is coming through starting this afternoon/evening so we want to get to my parents early so we have a chance at getting to the airport tomorrow morning

Samantha had youth group @ church....the only store close that was still opened was the Hallmark store.
As I am checking out the idiot teenage girl behind the counter asks me the usual questions
*Do you have any coupons for htis purchase*
*Do you have a Crown card*
*Do you qualify for a Senior citizen discount*

WTH??????

Well another dump of snow is coming 6-10". I have #%&#**! jury duty at 1:30 PM at my local district court. Called the number and they said come. YUCK! Unsure if school districts will close tomorrow or not. Field trip up in the air. I hate the s word!

But on the bright side at noon I'll be on Christmas break!

Cherie had a scare this week. She went for a stress test and the cardiologist was sure that he saw a tumor in her heart on two separate ultrasounds. She had to go in yesterday for an esophageal ultrasound so they could get a good look at it in preparation for open heart surgery. Fun thing, it wasn't there after all just a shadow or something. Needless to say we went through a lot of emotional swings this week. Miracles do happen!

Oh my! How scary! I am so glad all turned out well. What an emotional rollarcoaster that took y'all through.

I only wish I could turn Christmas decorations over to Bill.
Thankfully our house is as Griswaldy as usual on the outside so the neighbors are happy. We counted over 20 cars driving by looking at our decorations Saturday in an hour period. I just have so much fun seeing everyone get so excited about our tons of Dalmation yard art.

Oh man, what a tough time of the year to be in the hospital. Glad to hear she will be out soon (although I was contemplating staying longer myself to keep the good drugs. I asked them if they had the home version I could take with me but they gave me the ole "ah, NO!"

Ok, the funny thing is when you said "Kate" in your earlier post I immediately thought "Who is Kate?". Took me a full 5 mins and then it hit me... Kaitlin!!!!

She likes to be called Kate. Well this week at least!

Well my jury duty lasted a whole 20 minutes! 21 of us sat in a cramped conference room plotting ways to get out of serving, cause we only saw 8 chairs in the jurior box! Than the judge came in and said the defendant was rushed to the hospital! So it's adjourned till February. But I did find a small butt end Smithfield ham at a very reasonable price. And then I shoveled the rest of the snow from yesterday!

I've seen it all now. The trash truck was way late today. As I'm taking my trash bag out to the curb I see the trash guy tossing the trash bags and cans with one arm as he is holding and talking into a cell phone with the other!

Waiting for the next big S storm. Where is global warming when you need it?
