:grouphug:

I don't like my hair color/cut much either. She didn't listen to me when I said it would be too light.

And as I was backing out of the driveway today, I hit the neighbors car.:scared1: There is never a car there....well, there was one there once before and I hit that too.:rotfl2:

They had to move it from their driveway for something. I saw it there all morning, but never made a mental note when I was leaving. Nothing too bad, but their bumped is plastic and it cracked it. I'll take care of it when we get back. Who knows...maybe they will get into a little fender-bender before then with someone else.:rolleyes1

Caroline........quick leave the country!!!;)

Good thing he doesn't read the boards. He is scared enough of you guys.:rotfl: He asked me to tell everyone he is a deaf mute so he doesn't have to talk to anyone. (he really isn't that bad, he just likes to give me a hard time)

Not a lot of work getting done this week. I have a presentation I will be giving when I get back and I just can't concentrate on putting together the PowerPoint slides. Maybe I can just do a slide presentation of the cruise. Hey, I can show the work we are doing on the Panama Canal. Unfortunately it is supposed to be about the wonderful world of records management. Yippie. Not exactly exciting stuff.

You could always practice your presentation on me and I won't need to take my Ambien to fall asleep.:cloud9: :cloud9:

Okay fellow repo cruises, I need opinions please! We're getting a little paranoid because we're schedule to land at 12:30...with the ship leaving at 4, that's not much leeway. Tony has double-booked us (I LOVE SW) so we can fly out either Sat. night or Sun. morning. It looks like we could get an airport hotel w/shuttle at a decent rate. So what would y'all do? I hate to abandon our pets for an extra day (a sitter is coming in but it will still be traumatic), but I'd also hate to miss the ship and be swimming to Cabo to catch up!

Death is such a relative thing, can't we have Peter pronounce him early on in the cruise and we can bring him back to life by the time we get to Florida :confused3

Hey Roger...............I am getting sooooooooo excited to meet everyone. :cool1: :cool1: Good thing I do not have to wait til Sunday to meet some of you.:worship: :worship: I would drive John more crazy than I did already.:lmao: :lmao:
Poor John is just bored at work. He even took a two hour lunch.:sad2:

Is a no-brainer from my perspective. If you have the choice, Saturday night.

Sure, if everything goes right (flight on time, no mechanical diffculties, no traffic issues, etc) Sunday will work. But pretty much everything has to go right....

I would not chance it Barb. The way the airlines have been. I am getting to the airport almost 3 hours before flight time because I am afraid I could be bumped. The first 4 direct flights to LAX are totally booked.:headache:

We're flying SW too out of MCO and changed from a Sunday flight to Saturday afternoon. It was just too close for comfort to arrive on Sunday - for me anyway.

Hey Terri - we'll just stick him with my DH - he acts that way too until someone asks him a question and then I kick him under the table to answer. So you know - there's strength in numbers......

Can Dh join the bah humburg cruise club? He is not sure he wants to know anyone and will look embarresed to be seen with me and my "imagary friends"

leave Sat nite.. i am so nervous about leaving the day of the flight.. what if something goes wrong? and the way airlines are today it can go wrong..

that's my thoughts

I wonder if we're booked on the same flights! Our Sun. one leaves MCO at 8:45 a.m. w/stop in St. Louis and the Sat. one leaves at 5:15 p.m. w/stop in Denver.

BTW.. just 2 1/4 work days until I leave.. but then who is counting..;)

We're leaving on the 1:45 out of MCO with a stop (not a change) in San Antonio (I'm pretty sure that's the stop). The other thing - when we had the Sunday flight it was a plane change and I was worried we'd miss the connection as there was only about 30 mins between flights.

I fly SW all the time for work and I love them -and they're almost always on time and all. But for this trip, I don't want to cut things too close!

with a stop in St Louis, always leave the night before.. st louis shuts down, has issues all over the place.. IMHO the flights are never ontime from there..

5 more hours here   but I am not going any where until Sunday.

sure you are.. aren't you picking up Cheryl and John and meeting us and the rest of the DoubleTree DIS Cruisers for dinner and drinks.. ( not necessarily in that order) .. that is vacation time!!!

I feel for you.. i am supposed to be focused on predictive analytics for a session i am doing on Friday.. but i really dont care about relational databases or OLAP right now.. much less prediction or data mining

You, sir, are brilliant!

What with that Black Pearl curse and all, it make complete sense.

Now, can someone get Dr. Snow Angel off the floor to fill out DH's paperwork??

Since you have that option I would go with Saturday night
We are flying in on Sunday but our flight lands at 9:30am and is non stop
