I wanted to say to everyone - Have a safe trip
The next 12 days are going to be insane around here with work and trying to get packed.
I probably won't be here much but wanted to say
THANK YOU to everyone for putting together all these fun things to do on the ship - for making me feel welcomed and part of the crew even though some of you have known each other longer then this thread has been around. Even though I haven't posted a huge amount I have read and read and

alot at the comments and comebacks to some posts. Whenever I have had an off day I could always come here and get a laugh to help lift my mood
Can I just say

to all that put together the navigators and the deck plans. Simply amazing - I look at this and never in a milliion years could I have made them look so nice. There is not even an ounce of creativity in my bones
I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible
That's strange. I have no email from Disney, and I don't see anything new on their website! I am a TA too...and I haven't heard anything yet

The information is brand new from today so the cm's are just getting briefed on it and learning about it themselves. Joiseymom, Disney has not sent out an email of any kind yet
What I have found out this morning is the following - still trying to get more information but they asked that I call back tomorrow or the next day as they will have all the details sorted by then
Currently the change has to do with cruises being moved to a future date AFTER they are paid in full and are within 74 days of travel. The old rule was that you could change your cruise to a future date, even if in penalty stage, and the only thing you were charged was the change fee and the difference in cost of the the cruise between the current and future date. Without paying any cancellation fees
Starting August 31st, any sailing that is in penalty phase, within 74 days of sailing, can no longer be changed to a future cruise date. It would be considered a cancellation incuring whatever cancellation fees are applicable depending on how many days from sailing you are. The new date would be considered a new booking.
Now I don't know how this will effect OBC's that people get from rebooking onboard but I would think that if the new date is considered a new booking with a new reservation number then you would lose the OBC. If they keep the same reservation number then you will keep the OBC. I don't know if this is possible or how they are going to handle this. Information is still coming in.
I am told that any cruise that isn't in penalty stage, outside of 75 days of sailing, can still be moved to a future date
As I said above this is all new, as of this morning, so information is still coming in.
I am sure Tracy, winotracy, will chime in with information as she receives it and can verify details
EDITED TO ADD: Penalty phase for suites is within 89 days of sailing - forgot to include that above
