When I did my first Panama crossing cruise it was with Princess cruises, we did Cartagena on the Carribean side, but we also had another port on the Pacific side in Costa Rica.

I was thinking about it today so google maped i and looked up and down the cost and found it, it was:-

PUERTO CALDERA COSTA RICA

Its a pity that DCL didnt break up the sea days and early start out of Acapulco with a stop at this port.

Maybe drop one of the other Mexician ports stay longer in Acapulco and call at this port.

Whilst the Port was rather industrial, there was a considerable amount of good quality shore trips from there.

We went into the rain forest, (and it did rain) in a nature reserve, and it was so lush, and we saw many native animals.

But there was also:_

  • Fishing Tour
  • Canopy Tour
  • Horseback Ridding
  • Aerial Tram
  • Poas Volcano
  • San Jose City Tour
  • Carara National Park
  • Monteverde Cloud Forest
  • Cocodrile Safari

Would have been a nice place to call.

Was it, ' if I asked so nicely would you kindly move into place' or two words to thoose effect? That would get me banded if I posted them.

It was more gutteral than distinct words, but you're in the right direction.

Now.......who wants to be a Lumberjack?

Oh, I am lumberjack, and I am ok, I sleep all night and I work all day, I put on womens clothing, suspenders and a bra, I like to be a lady, just like my dear Papa.

Classic!!!:thumbsup2

YES! Haven't found Mexican food I like outside of CA either, except in Mexico of course.

We found a little gem of a chain in South Carolina. They have maybe 3 restaurants. We visit the one in Chapin (NW of Columbia, SC) a lot......and they have mondo margaritas.

Sooooo, for everyone who isn't packed, are you going to pack this weekend? I am planning to be packed (mostly) by tomorrow night!!!! We leave the 12th so I need to be ready!

Can't wait to meet you all.

We aren't leaving until the 17th so I won't pack until the 14th or 15th. That will leave me a couple of days just in case I have to go out and buy something.

Penny

We're leaving on the 16th, and I probably won't start packing until the 13th or 14th and won't really be finished until right before we leave on the morning of the 16gh. I don't like to pack too early, gets the clothes wrinkled and then I always need stuff I've packed.

Question; Is there some sort of 12 step program for the deep depression thats going to hit us on Sept. 1???
Support groups???:grouphug:

DH has already told me that when we get home he is going to have to "commit" me since I will have nothing major to plan. Silly guy - doesn't he know I will book something on board!!!!!

If I waited until the night before, I would go crazy. I mean I want stuff packed and the suitcase closed! With 3 DS's, DH and then all my carp, I need to be organized. I will go mental if not.

WOW! How long have you been a Disney Fan? You have so many posts, how long have you been on the DIS?

Gotta go - time to buy more stuff for the TOAL!!!

Chrissie,

I'm the same way. I talked to two dermatologists I know and they both recommended Neutrogena 30. I got that plus a 55 just in case. They don't seem to think any higher that 30 is beneficial.

Barb

It is not exponentially stronger - but it is stronger. 60 is not double 30 but after 30 it just gets better by small percentages. I am still wearing 85 on my face. I have been warned if my scar burns, it is drastic to reverse.
I was careless and got a bit toasted at the pool the other day and my face was not affected at all. I also had on a hat.

I have discovered the upside to 105 degree heat. I decided to use the trampoline to lay out and dry the clothes (I do not put much in the dryer). They dried FAST!! I usually have to leave them a couple of days to fully dry. Today- 20 mins and completely dry.

NOPE he cannot have it. We also own DVC and he is always looking for a time to head to the WORLD. We have New Years booked and Spring break. We will start planning for the 2009 points soon....

I think we are just about done "BUYING" for this trip.

I am going to try and organize our stuff tonight after I work on my Scrapbook Exchange items. I think my list is part rabbit - as it now has sublists (babies) :lmao:

1 more Saturday left and I have NO FREE TIME next Saturday - birthday party and Cub Scouts campout.

There is a place here I can get black or white gloves for around $6. Do you want me to pick some up for you?

Thanks for the offer I would love a pair. But they are not functional with my oh, so fashionable crutches.

Slippery silky gloves and crutches IMO do not mix well. So I am going to pass. Thanks!
