I just received and email from my TA who said that just today there has been a change in the rule about rebooking a cruise while onboard then changing the dates. He will send me something later after he gets additional information. I'll let you know what he says.![]()
Thank youthank you
thank you
to EVERYONE who contributed.

This is why I only have 2 kids - logistics.
We can still play man on man defense. With more than 2 you have to go with a zone.
We didn't have a verandah but we didn't notice the temperature changing anything "noticably" no matter how hard we tried to make it cooler. LOL
Amen to that.... I'm so far behind! I'm working BACKWARDS just trying to find my last post, since searching my own posts doesn't work here (ever)
spray cheese. Hmm I haven't had that in AGES but that and some crackers might be a good idea for me and the kids. LOL We're going to arrive late and no rental car and not going to DL the first night (even though apparently it's open till midnight)- so we might be starving when we go to bed that night! I checked Mimi's cafe online (resturant near HoJo's) and it's EXPENSIVE just for hamburgers and stuff.![]()
Wow I didn't know they were open until midnight! Ditto on that- needing cruise to recover. LOL
Thanks to EVERYONE who helped put the Pirates Navigator together , It looks great![]()

You are NOT allowed to dry your shirts on the verandah!
Thank you all for the prayers for our DAD..I tell people that he is LIVING with CANCER!!! Our family reunion is promising close to 130+ people this weekend..
Many havnt seen my dad since he was dx.
Because if you did, where would you dry your underwear?![]()
Nothing says "classy" like grannie panties flappin' in the sea breeze!

I got goosebumps (in a VERY good way) when I read about your Dad! What great news. We'll keep him in our prayers for a continued remission! Looking forward to meeting you, Doreen, and the family.
Hello! I have been lurking and learning from all of you over the past few weeks. My wife and I - along with ds 13 and ds 9 will also be on your adventure.
I just wanted to share that at A C Moore craft store here in New Jersey they have pre printed Pirates of the Caribbean pillow cases that you can color on. They come in single packs or 8 in a pack. Since there are always 40% off coupons they would be around 3 a piece. They also have Hannah Montana designs and Princess cases. I thought that this might be a fun way to gather autographs of the characters.
See you all very soon!
Did you find any character autographs in them?
Really....good information. Thanks! My DW likes to get our passports stamped, which I personally don't like messing with. So all the better if DCL takes care of them. About 12 years ago, we crossed over to Canada and she just had to take her passport to be stamped. Didn't even need to have a passport then. The border guard just gave us an "idiot tourist" look and directed us to park the car so she could go inside the building to get it stamped. Then, when we came back into the US. We stopped at the duty free shop and of course had more alcohol than the 1 litre and case of beer. U.S. Agent asks if we have anything to declare...I say "no". Guard says, "Ok, have a good day" and then DW leans over from passenger side and says, "But he bought alcohol!". Guard just laughs and says, "Yeah...I figured. Have a safe trip back to Ohio."
We had a fun BBQ today with our entire group of family & friends cruisers (16 in total). We discussed the 2005 cruise as well as nailed down some other plans. Our friends, disfrog & DH made everybody beautiful fish extenders on her cool sewing machine which was really neat! The kids practiced with their snorkel gear while in the pool and we ate way too much fun food (more practicing for the cruise meals!)
It was a fun day, and we broke out in a horn blowing contest at 5pm to commemorate sailing away in 2 weeks, with Dr. Pepper bottles and snorkels....lets just say it was an interesting variation of "when you wish upon a star"....LOL

I've never heard of this TSA screening device/method.
However, I can sort of imagine how it might be .... I guess?

Well...
I think it's about time to start introducing a few of the members of our family group to the DIS community...
And I'd like to begin with a few fun or charming images I've stumbled across in the process...
From a few months ago - here is our NEWEST member of the expanded family....
Although you can't see HIM too well ... baby Braedon is being held by my daughters when he was just about a week old.
And below are a couple of nice photos of Alicia's Mom and Dad (SAM and GENEVIEVE)
They're in Tahiti with us for a cruise on the old Rennisance R4.

Good Morning Everyone!!!![]()
I haven't been on in quite a while but I have been checking the posts off and on daily.
Can you believe two weeks from today we will be on the MAGIC?Remember that early morning in January and the 75,90 and 105 days out???
I am looking forward to meeting everyone. This sounds like a great group and even though I don't write as much as others I consider us friends.
My adventure starts out this Wednesday August 6th by flying home to Syracuse, NY for my family reunion this weekend, then Tuesday is my mom's birthday which will be the first time in 8 years that I have been home for this.
Also my nephew Russell(23)(he went to DisneyWorld for the first time during Easter break and invited me along. I can't even count how many times I have been there. We had such a great time and I hope we can do it again next year.) will be moving to Albany, NY to start his new job on Monday the 11th. My sister Lainie1222(some of you may know her from our 2006 trip) We are all so proud of him.
This year has been one harrowing year for our family healthwise. My Dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer last year around Labor Day. Fortunately we were able to get him to MASS General in Boston and the Doctors and Nurses took the best care of him. He went thru chemo and radiation and as of today we can say that if anything is there it is dormant! THE POWER OF PRAYER!!!!! He had the best Private Duty Nurse my Sister Doreen(reenieny)She is a wonderful caring nurse. He is out playing golf with his grandsons. We never thought we would be seeing this.
On August 13th Doreen, Marty, Daniel, Jaclyn(Doreen's daughter, she is unable to go on the cruise due to work) will be flying west to CA. We have never been to DL or CA or California so this is definitely an TOAL!!!!!
Hope to see you all at DL and of course on the MAGIC!!!!!!
Karen

Thank You. Some of us may be doing a alcohol/water run.
Welcome!!! My DS will be 13 on August 14 & our DD is 9, I think there are a lot of kids around this age range!
Quick question............My kids want to take their pins and lanyards on our trip. Can they wear one lanyard and put the pins in their carryons? OR do I have to pack all those pins and lanyards - they are heavy! Wasn't sure about putting the pins in their carryons with all the restrictions they have now plus going through securityAny help would be appreciated.
My first though after reading this 10 pages ago was...where is the picture of laundry on the verandah....I see other pirates have come thru with flying colors for those who may not have seen it, or need another chuckle over it!Well, at least we wont have to fight you for the washer and dryer time..lol
I have to find a faster way to dry my shirts.. I have not put them in the dryer at home and would like to keep it that way. Did anyone have a problem withthem flying off the balcony??![]()
Happy 1st day of school! Kallie would actually be jealous....she loves that social event...called school! LOL....she just doesn't like the math, science, language arts, reading...just kidding!! well, not really kidding about mathGood morning!
Just a quick post..DD starts her school year this morning (and a little grumpy I might say...)
I will catch up later!
Have a great day!

.LOL As you get older you bring the entire medacine chest.![]()
![]()
I know what you mean about the medicine chest. DH laughs at me because I bring everything the kids could possibly need. He tells everyone that I probably even have anti venom in my bags.
I feel like I am going to be pulled over for being a drug dealer with all the stuff in my carryon. We have the kids meds..dh's meds, then there is his vitamin regime, and the bonnine, immodium, tylenol, advil, acid reducer..and just about everything else!!
