Gee.... just under 160 postings to the PIRATE PRIZE.... ya suppose anyone else is hanging around? Anyone up for a FRIENDLY sprint to 3000 tonite?

Well... it looks like we're running down to the last hand full of days prior to embarkation. Many of us will be flying soon to get into LA for the cruise.

I had a huge multi-quote covering 700-500 postings back with MY intended replies to your remarks directed at me - or of a few interesting postings which drew my attention for remarks and likely an image or two... but something locked my computer up and I LOST the GIANT MULTI-QUOTE.

So as - the last comment I was looking at before things melted down - was a very kind reply on ZIP LINING... in Puerto Vallerta. I am possibly going to do it NOW that I have info on it... and I know PAULA .. you sent me info a long time ago but I seem to have deleated it because I thought my party would not do it several months ago. Now I've decided that I'm going to dump my group for this because I want to do it. They can come out and watch if they want to - otherwise they;re on their own for half the day in PV!

Anyways - Julianna wants to reserve for this with me.... the courageous little munchkin. SO...with any luck we'll spot some of our kind and adventurous DIS neighbors out there on this. http://www.canopytours-vallarta.com/index.htm

Actually..I do have a serious question..if we signed up for tastings and then the date of the tasting doesn't work with our schedule? Are we able to back out or are we already going to be charged duue to signing up?

Don't know if I could handle that much sprinting. I expect by the time I wake up someone will be pirated.

Odd, the zip-lining didn't really appeal to me too much. I'm doing the offroad adventure in PV - it sounds like fun.

Off road thing... we did that somewhere in the carribean someyears ago and it was... ok. In our case it was more of a drive about then any true OFF roading.

Again... I am probably intrigued by things I've not heard of or seen before... and zip lining is certainly something out of the ordinary for me. Not to say I've done it all (smugly).... no.... by no means. However, a lot of what we're locked into is routine low intensity family friendly stuff with young kids and elderly parents.

As for the sprint.. I wuz just kidding. By myself I might toss on 40 or so postings in an hour or hour an a half... but no way would I try 100+.... not with the energy levels of this evening. Well.. for that matter ... I don't think I've got a solid hour for DISing this evening either.

Aside from that ... I just got the first half of my FE gifts today. The 2nd half should arrive soon enough.. more or less I hope. I've belatedly decided I'll walk the ship after all... or maybe I can convince my SPOUSE to take a few decks... (chuckles)..... alas... my FE contribution is nominally modest. Just something to be neighborly for the most part.

Wow.... so many things yet to do before we sail. I can just imagine how "wound up" everyone else is who is set to travel sooner than my immediate family.

Hi everyone - I'm awake too. I've been up since 4am due to work - blech! I had to make some flyers for my mom and now I'm all done. Thank goodness. How much fluff do you think we can post?

I did the rest of my shopping today! I hope I'm all done. I like to do my share of shopping but I'm done! I don't want to do any more. (I can't believe I just said that) I have to go through my list and check things off. I probably won't start packing until Thursday since we don't leave until the morning of the 17th. I still have some things to work out with the kids but I hope to have that done by tomorrow. Still so much to do.

Drive around works for me - I'm not necessarily interesting in anything very high intensity - especially as hot as it's going to be.

I'm hoping to be able to join up with some people to distribute FE gifts (mine are also quite modest). I'm gradually going through my list of things to do. The box to the hotel goes out tomorrow.

I'm trying not to get overly "excited" about any of this - I mean, it's a vacation. Which means trying to go for minimal stress, no commitments, and as little scheduling as possible.....

I actually didn't stop the mail yet but went online and put in my 'future' stop date of the 16th. Now I won't have to worry about doing it later.

We are flying. I kinda (just a little) wish that we were driving then I wouldn't have to worry about how much my luggage is going to weigh. My plan is to have one suitcase and one carry one. That's the plan - now if I can stick to it is another issue.

Gosh - I am tired -I realized I repeated myself ----- but what I won on eBay was a Kindle reading device - so I can take lots of books on the TOAL w/out the space/weight!
