You think I am good bringing on a whole unopened Sugar Snap Peas through security? I am pretty sure I am OK.

Is it a can with liquid? Don't know if security would like it if it is... If it's just fresh sugar snap peas, that would be fine, I think...

I just feel waiting inline with an autograph book for Granddaughter would be a little silly.:rolleyes1 Maybe I better go shop for a pillowcase.:thumbsup2

Is she not going to be with you? That would be different. You know...the favorite thing that we have had autographed, though we took it around with us, was a book that was a collection of Disney stories. The characters signed on the titile page of their story. One of our friends did this and dropped it off at GS with postits on the pages where they wanted the characters to sign.

When I was a kid my mom would make the lime green kool-aid. She called it her grass juice. One of the little boys across the street actually thought my mom made it out of grass! :rotfl2:

I guess I am one of those professionals so watchout Deanna and M. I am going to find you on the ship and give a hug!!!

Wait til M meets me.:lmao: :lmao:

Cheryl, your an ole softie! :cutie: :flower3:

Yeah- I left the word "bag" off. I eat a bag a day usually.

You keep saying that you will be handling the luggage on your own. Don't they have porters at LAX? I have always seen them at the major airports around the luggage retrieval area. It would be well worth it IMO to tip one of them to take care of your luggage while you keep up with the kids.

She can also rent one of the luggage carts. I usually do that at MCO and EWR. I plan on doing it at LAX too. I can't imagine them not having the carts for rent.

Yeah, what she said....

....and, I'd like to add a big Thank you to J.R. (classy guy)

ITA! :thumbsup2

Thanks to all of you would have done so much! The time, talent and treasure you donated are very much appreciated!!!

J.R., I don't think there are many people who would have done what you did for a group you (unfortunately) won't even be travelling with. Thanks so much to you as well!

Quick drive by to say thanks to all who contributed to the Pirate Navigator - amazing. I am hoping to be 90% packed by Saturday night. I have been trying to keep up at work during the day, but just no time to post. 9 days left till the TOAL and 7 of them are actual work days. So I have much to accomplish this weekend as every night next week has something planned to get ready for the TOAL.

:grouphug: to all who need it.
:cake: to all the birthdays and anniversaries I have missed

Hehe I was trying to fill in the blank... I didn't even know if they came in cans with liquid... A bag of em should be fine! Personally, I have had raw sugar snap peas once and found out the hard way that I'm allergic :scared1:

JR - I am never sure of who did what on the website but I think you were the one to get it done. Thanks!!! Your sense of humor is so similar to mine you always cracked me up.:)

So, what else did she put in her "grass juice", Tina? :hippie:

Did she make "special brownies", too?

Thank You Tracy, Laurie & Monica for the Rockin' Drink Tastings

Well, if you traumatized her I finished it in when I met her in DC for I greeted her in the same way! :lmao: :rotfl2: . I just figured I sweated . . . . um . . . . excuse me - I "glowed" a bit too much on my way into DC. :lmao: Anyway, M, its really your fault - your humor makes us think your part of our family! ;)

Yep hear that M? YOUR FAULT!!!

I don't need any Kool Aid first, Diane.

Aw!!!

Thanks Lisa for the Rockin' Pirate Roster!

and smart add comments....

:rotfl:
Just a little...
at least you warned me you would do it.

With this group, ya never know when someone is going to come running at you full speed or leap out of a dark corner for a hug.

:thumbsup2

:grouphug:

(see, I hug)

Virtual hugs don't count! You got to really get in there & feel & smell the human flesh!!! :lmao:

:rotfl2: So what you're saying is those of you I haven't offended with my smart add comments during the last 17 months all want to hug me? Of course now those I have offended want to hug me too, just to bug me. :)

OK people...I don't HATE hugging. I'm just usually not the initiator.

Um ya keep trying reverse psychology....that might work! NOT! :rolleyes1

My Alaskan Husky is going to be a city dog for 2.5 weeks. She's staying with one of my co-workers in downtown DC. Should be interesting....

Hope it all goes well!

I was wondering about this....I was going to ask this in chat so people won't be surprised or shocked if I want to give them a big hug when meeting them! It sounds like I am not the only one who does it. :)

Oh goody....lots of huggers!!! :grouphug:

Yeah, what she said....

....and, I'd like to add a big Thank you to J.R. (classy guy)

Ditto that!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

(I'm really not that bad...)

I don't know M, sounds like a lot of huggers here. You might want to wear something like this:

Hey Guys! Just wanted to post, I will be out of commission for a few days. :sad2: My neighbor died suddenly on Saturday - and his viewing and funeral will take up this whole week. I must say this was probably one of the few times in my life where I have seen both my father and my brother in tears. Add to the fact that April's getting her wisdom teeth out later this morning (all four of them - YIKES!) Poor thing as if having an earthquake and stitches on her left flank ( ) wasn't enough! She had a mole removed and got serveral stitches which she makes me check several times a day because she thinks they are infected.

Meanwhile, my son has been chasing me around the house trying to get me to check out his herniated disk. YUCK! This from the guy who doesn't like his back touched.

I did tell you all that its always one thing or another with me right? Meanwhile, I did manage to take my formal to the cleaners but it will take one week to clean - just in time for leaving next week.

So, if anyone needs to get in contact with me, leave a message - I'll get back to you soon. Probably over the weekend.

Pray for me that the dreaded 3 curses doesn't happen or at least wait until I'm on the TOAL. :sad2:

:sad2: :sad1:

So sorry Laura!!! I pray for you & everyone here that from now on, all goes well so that we can board the TOAL with no problems, stress, etc. :wizard:

We hired pet sitters. Our babies stay home and they come to the house to take care of them. I couldn't see putting them, especially my kitties in a kennel for so long.

My neighbors take our Cockapoo, Rosie, & good thing because she doesn't do well in the kennel. She is so neurotic & afraid of other dogs that she just sits & shakes the whole time & doesn't eat. :guilty:

My neighbors consider it renting a pet for a while since the kids keep bugging them for a dog, but they don't want to commit. Of course they refuse to take payment so we are sharing our DVC with them for a trip in Oct. Now I just have to figure out what to do with her then.
To Anyone who can help me...............I am not good at posting links on here but I would love to share a spreadsheet that DH put together yesterday. He put it together for all our people at home who are interested in "tracking" us while we are gone. Its a spreadsheet of all the websites that folks can go to to see our ship while we are on it. It has the web addresses for the panama canal and all the ports that we could find plus some videos on you tube that we came across.

Can I email a copy of it to someone then they can post a link? Or of someone can walk me through step by step...............Thanks!!

Excellent job, thank you! I will definitely share with my extended family, who will of course really be wondering what kool aid I've been drinking, but too bad! ;)

My husband always says "If you want until the last minute to do everything, it only takes a minute to do it". No need to stress over what doesn't get done (I'm saying this more so I listen :lmao: )

I have forgotten toothbrushes, tuxedo shirts, t-shirts before and we still had a great time on those cruises. We were able to buy two of them and for the tuxedo shirt, we just used a different dress shirt and it actually looked pretty sharp! It all works out!

ITA! It isn't a vacation unless I forgot a couple of things. Last time it was dress socks for DH! Not a big deal, he just loved those $40 Mickey dress socks! Plus I forgot my Tums & all they sell in the shop are those teeny weeny itty bitty packages so I was buying them every day for about a dollar a tablet!

Drive by posting....:drive:

I got a photo mat to leave at GS for the characters to sign. I'm going to put a sheet in the photo area that says:

"A honeymoon to celebrate the day that we were wed,
With no more worries of the pounds we worked so hard to shed,
Our favorite Disney characters we hope will join our cause,
And sign around the picture frame with hands, or fins, or paws,
We're gathering well-wishes with your names we know so well,
And in the years to come we'll have a Disney tale to tell."

What do you think? Think they'll sign it? I'm hoping we'll get a nice picture on board and then have this as a souvenier to hang on the wall at home. What do you veteran cruisers think? Is it worth it? Thanks!

Very nice! :lovestruc
