I don't know if this is the case, but I have seen it with a number of clients so I'll through it out. I didn't complete my documents until the 90th day. If you completed the documents after the booklets were printed (about 30 days out), they won't know you completed the documents. Also, if you thought you completed the documents, but they aren't totally complete, it will print out everything. I have clients that don't authorize payment for the children and then they can't print out the contract. If that's the case, the documents (while you think they are complete) are not complete. You have to authorize everyone one way or another for payment and then limit them once onboard.

Other than these possibilities, no clue why some got it and some didn't.

Well, I didin't get everything. The personal info and charge authorization forms were not in the packet.
I guess a question would be - did anyone who booked air through DCL not get the full itinerary?

1) Rum, Wine, Juice or water? What's your usual "poison"? And fel free to reply with something other than the basic 4 options offerred here.

I also love "foo-foo" drinks..pina coladas, rum runners, anything like that! If I can't have "foo-foo" drink- then only margaritas, wine or champagne. I don't hardly EVER drink anything at all though. But on the rare occasion that I do have a drink- these are the things I like. :)

2) If you had a THEME SONG.... what would it be? Alternatively, what was the last TUNE you listened to?

hmm, i don't think I can think of a "theme" song for me. I don't know the last tune I listened to either. LOL

3) What's your favorite reading subject and or material? IE: Fav authors, topics or magazines?

My favorites are sci-fi, primarily the type like Stephen King (yes he's my fav author), some true crime/mystery types too

4) Do you have any favorite snacks... any with a trade name?

don't know what you mean with a trade name. My favorite snacks are anything involving CHOCOLATE. hehe

5) What does HAPPINESS mean to you?

wow that's a tough one... so many different things!

6) Do you sing in the shower? If so ... tell us what you last sang IF you can recall...

nope, only sing along to the radio in my vehicle LOL
7) Tell us one interesting/odd fact about you.

Hmm I guess I'm not interesting, or odd :lmao: , because I can't think of a thing! LOL

I did. I hadn't completed all the forms on line prior to it being sent - I actually completed them Wednesday evening.

We booked air through DCL and didn't get the intinerary in our docs. We had completed all the docs online.

oh and btw.. how does tuesday for HF grab you?

Tuesday works for me. Oldest dd emailed me to let her know the next time we went. I'll email her and if it works out I may send her and the two younger ahead of us. I'll let you know.

If it wasn't so hot we'ld go to Six Flags, too. We have season passes BUT, I don't go in the summer! LOL!

I don't think you've asked- but I've posted about it before. LOL
Because last time we FORCED them to and it was a nightmare. We have late dining and they tend to do all the fun stuff in the club/lab during that dining time (I assume because MOST kids are in the early dining so they plan the best activities during the time the majority of the kids would be in there after their early dining time?).
...............
and because of that- we've linked dining with a group that is only adults- no kids..... so it works out for all of us- kids are happy and we aren't stuck at a table for 5 by ourselves (only our family) like we were last time. we can actually have some adult interaction at dinner this time! Last time we were at our own table- off to the side in a corner at each restaurant and sometimes with a curtain thing between us and other people. If we'd figured out a way for the kids to not eat with us- we still would have been all alone.. not this time!
It's a win/win situation for all of us. Trial and error- first trip didn't work out so great with them eating with us so we're not making them this time. Less clothes to pack too since they won't have to get dressed up every evening. LOL

Gotcha! We linked with a Dis family (I've never spoken to them so I hope they like us! LOL!) so, that we wouldn't have to eat just us -- we do enjoy each others company but, it was so much fun last cruise when we linked with a Dis family. Although last time I got to know them ahead of time! LOL!
We also do late dining.

Me either! I'm looking forward to having my pic taken with Cinderella, Mickey, Minnie, Capt Jack and whoever else I can get!

From our last cruise....the *big* girls and characters....

Me too!! You'll notice I got in that picture with Donald with my DS. I love taking pics with the characters, luckily my DS does too and it's no problem getting him to wait in line for them. :)

All right this is probably my last post (or one of a few last) 'til the cruise. I got a ton of work to do before we leave & the DIS is distracting me.

See ya'all on the ship.

Hey Lisa,
You can always do a drive by post and let us know how you are doing:)
We'll pm you if anything unusual comes up:upsidedow

I am not going to say anything to the girls about Aly and AJ. My girls LOVED them 2 summers ago. I took the girls and Megan's best friend to their concert here when they were at 6 Flags 2 years ago. They loved it! They do not talk about them much since then but I know they would think it was really cool if they were there.

Had my family reunion here this weekend. Normally there are about 50 of us but this year only 35. It was very hot which kind of limited activites. There was a lot is swimming and hanging out in my parents.
Now that the reunion is over I can concentrate on the cruise. I have a lot going on at work, my MiL is having surgery and I still don't have all clothes cordinated/packed yet.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Okay cool- just let me know... so I know when to be looking for y'all (or eldest dd and youngest two) :)

I totally hear you about how hot it is! But every summer I get talked into one day at Six Flags because the kids get free tickets from the 6hr reading club thing at school. I can't very well say no after they earn the ticket- yanno? But I know I'm gonna be about "this close" to passing out all day long.. I just know it. LOL
I like the rides and stuff myself- i just don't like the heat. It's sure different than WDW since everything, including the lines, are outside and no a/c hardly anywhere to ever cool off! Even instead the restaurants, what few are usualy open everytime we've gone the past few years, have very little a/c-it's only barely tolerable even in the restaurants!

well if I'd known you live so close and our kids so close in age/etc. I might have tried to link with you too and make them eat with us. LOL But they'll probably be happier this way anyway.....

I have a huge favor to ask.... we are having our vow renewal on the 21st of August...is there anyone bringing a tri-pod that would be willing to loan it to us for the ceremony? We would like to video tape it and do not have a tripod.

Thanks!

Edit: I found one! (Thanks Laura!)

The newest 7 questions that I happened to see this afternoon in major skimming mode...

1) Rum, Wine, Juice or water? What's your usual "poison"? And fel free to reply with something other than the basic 4 options offerred here.
Rum, of course.

2) If you had a THEME SONG.... what would it be? Alternatively, what was the last TUNE you listened to?

5) What does HAPPINESS mean to you?
When you count your blessings they outweigh your burdens.

6) Do you sing in the shower? If so ... tell us what you last sang IF you can recall...
Nope.

7) Tell us one interesting/odd fact about you.
I got over 120 bug bites on my right leg below the knee while sitting on my balcony at AKL.

I'm not a fan of boy bands...but, I love things like HSM! :lmao: :lmao:

I bet you lucked out and didn't have to watch Best of Both Worlds in 3-D last night!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Good lord no.... Was it on Disney? We had to lose the Disney Channels (pity) when we downgraded to just basic basic TV a couple weeks ago.

My DD would be very excited if this was true. Although Aly & AJ have kind of fallen off the radar since Hannah Montana and HSM really took off.

OK i for one am ticked at that... I mean HELLO...the tweens didn't pay for this cruise...I did and with carpy entertainment it will be a cold day in the netherworld before i ever sail Disney again...

I said wait til you see what this lady made for her daughter on the disboards.

As sk8 posted before...Peter is amazing but he's no lady...:lmao:

GS Cookies
I know you guys have kindly explained all of this to me. If these are not seasonal, could I buy a couple of boxes from one of you?

If you could get them...I'm not sure they'd travel well in the heat... For example i love those chocolate covered mickey pretzels but i only attempt to bring them home if it's a December trip... I've had them melt before in checked luggage or got warm and then cold and then the choclate turns white.

and because of that- we've linked dining with a group that is only adults- no kids.....

Uh BIP...you do kmow that DCL does have to seat them with you in the dining room. (even if it is on paper) I don't think they can just put two seats for the adults in the party at a table.

OK and whoever has that voodoo doll, please stop poking me......

Our latest :headache:. We were going to take DD's digital camera on the TOAL since it's better than ours (on the last trip all the pics came out blurry). Well doesn't DD smuggle the good camera to camp where one of the girls steals it from her and we have virtually no chance of recovering it. :sad2:

(and to top that off...DD was scheduled to take Digital photography 2 for school next year and now she can't do that either without a camera.)

SO now if we do go...Please take our picture if you see us as we'll have no camera of our own....

(Stupid dark cloud go away)

7) Tell us one interesting/odd fact about you.
I got over 120 bug bites on my right leg below the knee while sitting on my balcony at AKL.

Hey Jen... my friend Kathy can top that....Her husband was attacked by an owl while out talking on his cell phone on their balcony at the WL.

He just got scraped up a bit. I wonder if the owl thought the phone was an animal or something.

:rotfl2: I'll have to remember that..I now know where *the* place to be seen in Cali is... :lmao:

It's the dad that made that costume!!! I swear Peter must have spent every last moment of free time (he's an ER doc, right?) the past 2 yrs on making their costumes!!! He has done a tremendous job!!!

Pete may be a handbag, but he's no lady. :lmao:

That just stinks! Can the camp send something to all the parents "Someone had a camera stolen, xxx model, etc. If you child has a camera that doesn't belong to them, please contact the camp to arrange return. No charges will be pursued....."?

SO now if we do go...Please take our picture if you see us as we'll have no camera of our own....

I can't promise they will be good:rolleyes1 , but we'll take your picture:thumbsup2
We were hoping to get a new camera for this trip, but most likely not at this point:rolleyes:
I was hoping Crash, Roger or Father Mike would get some good ones with their cameras so we could pirate some off thempirate:

 My DD11 loves owls, but this is scary...like out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie:scared:

Who are Ally and AJ?:confused3

I've been listening to Flo Rida all weekend.:dancer:

 :yay:

I have a dancing partner! Cheryl, that dancing floor is going to be crowded! ::yes::

Maybe because of this?
"Guests are required to walk across approximatley 2,000 yards of uneven and uphill terrain"
It is also listed as an 'active' tour

Also maybe because it is a 4.5 hour tour most of which will consist of walking and standing, and I am sure that that it will be HOT

All I can say when they say active, ther really mean active. And oh yeah, forgot to mention, keep in mind that August is going to be very hot. ::yes:: DH and I were walking back from "shopping in the cruise terminal stores" Puerto Vallarta when we saw some excursions getting back from their trips. Not sure which trip it was but it has the yellow open safari type of transportation. We were  because no one, and I mean no one getting off the bus looked very happy. I put it off to the heat at the time, about 1:30, but many were wearing sweats and clothes that you could get dirty, they all that exhausted, tired, get me indoors type of look. Can't say I blame them as I felt like that myself but I'd only been outside for about 1 hr. I have no idea how long they were on their trip.

OK - back to skimming.

Me too!! You'll notice I got in that picture with Donald with my DS. I love taking pics with the characters, luckily my DS does too and it's no problem getting him to wait in line for them. :)
My DD11 still likes having her pic taken with characters, just wondered if she would hug them like she used to:confused3
I asked her a few minutes ago and she said it depends on the character. She's not hugging the princesses:lmao:

Hope everyone has a great week!

We usually pack a few days before we leave, but with the folks here talking about packing...making me nervous sooooo I'll probably start this week:rolleyes1
