It was the line crossing that I objected to... If other people can hear your conversation you are talking too loud -- that is one of the first things I try to teach my children. Of course 7dd is LOUD. I'm thinking that breaking things and throwing food is a line crossed...

We got our docs today, yay! Came home from the beach and there they were, sitting in front of the front door.

Question abot Palo: We've got a brunch booked and want to know about paying the $15 per person (when and where) and about the tipping. Do we tip cash like room service, or do we do it at guest services?

Just like a regular restaurant you get the 'bill' at the end of the meal. It will have the $15.00 charge. Then you can add extra if you want, not required, use your own judgement. It is all charged to your room.

Are you asking about tips for Palo or tips for the whole cruise? Palo, see above. The whole cruise, you can do either cash or charge to the room. It's done on the last night.

The kid and I had a great evening. 7dd & I went to a b-day party at Putt-Putt. She LOVED riding the Go-Karts. They had a track with smaller ones for young kids and then the large track (you have to be 11 to drive your own).

When she rode with me she kept saying *Faster mom, faster.* So... I went...fast.... When we got off my friend came up to me and said *Since when did you become the faster driver on the track?* Turns out all of the karts were being driven and I was passing people like crazy....

The other 4 kids (oldest dd was here at the house all day -- she cut all of my hair off! I now have short hair!) went to my IL's house for dinner so that 28ds & Samantha (17, dd) could tell them all about their trip.

DH is feeling really bad..... He doesn't know if it is the pain in his neck and back (he has degenative (sp?) disc disease) or the lack of sleep from the extreme pain the last few days that is the problem. So he came home from work early and went to bed. I doubt if he has slept much....
I think he needs to find a Dr and see about doing the disc replacement surgery -- I can't remember the total number but, he is missing several discs. His migraines might go away...also....

I feel really bad for any of you that have chronic pain.

I took the 2 youngest kids to the Dr for their yearly check ups this morning.... They told the Dr where they were going... He told them that his Great Grandfather (or Great, great) was the 1st person all the way throught hte completed in canal. He was the lead (head?) explosive person and he rode on the first boat through. He climbed out of the boat and hung from the front so that he would be the 1st person through! LOL!

I'm so sorry about DH. I can only imagine how much that hurts.... I have some disc "issues" (after an accident when Rita was about 1yrs old... and thank God she wasn't with me at the time which was very uncommon to ever be anywhere without my kids! I'd just switched vehicles and Jeff left to take the kids home in the minivan and I took his vehicle to go shopping before going home to a different town than we were in.... I was stopped behind someone else waiting to turn left so I got slammed in the back- then that slammed me into the car in front of me so I got hit from the rear then hit the car in front... double whammy) - and I can only imagine how much WORSE it has to hurt to be completely missing discs! OMG....

(now to catch up on the thread.... last time I was here was page 113 I think. I have some ketchup to do.....)

I think ours were there too! They're scheduled to arrive at DH2B's work today sometime. I told him he can't leave work until he gets them...I want to see them before I leave for SF tonight. Only 23 more days until we're all onboard!!!!

Okay..they're white dressy jeans and my tops cover them so that almost no one will know they're jeans. They looked a whole lot better with my tops than my capris did.

I have been instructed by my psychiatrist to not visit the main boards any more. It's very bad for my already low self esteem. There's not enough medication in the world to save me any more.

Did mine yesterday. And it's a good thing, since last night the belt on my printer broke. It's just one thing after another lately.
I think it was printing all the door signs and magnets that did me in!!!

So today, or tomorrow, I'm off to buy a new printer. I may not have any money left for the DOTD.

Yes she went garage saleing today and they will be home tomorrow night. All is well with DS. She told me a funny gorey story. They told them that when he got home if the site started gushing blood to put pressure on it and call 911. Her DIL is a nurse and that didn't seem to phase her but Cheryl said she would've stayed in the hospital til everything was healed before she would leave.

Steph, a co worker and I have disc problems. mine is controlled with exercise but hers was so very bad. Her Dr had her go thru a series of 3 epidural shots and she is so much better. Maybe he should look into it. Of course she was immobile for those days. But she swears by them and I heard of another co workers husband that did the same.

That's so weird- they didn't even hand me mine. they knocked and by the time I walked straight to the door- they were already in their truck taking off. they just left them by the door. LOL
